I was dead sleeping in the bed
"Dennis stop tryna touch me " he back at it again with this love dovey thing acting like we in a relationship.

"Baby why can't you see I was made for loving you " he fake cried trying to hug me.

"Man getcho hands off me" I was getting annoyed "uughh damn"

"We was meant to be " he was smiling like a goof with this t-shirt that said I love August.

  He tried taking pictures with the both of us

"Dennis stop!!" He took off video taping me running after him.

"Dennis I'ma beat ya-" a loud scream rang the hell out my ears threw my behind off the bed . I got up real quick to fight. When I turn to check if Mya aight . She was holding in a big smile which she let go in a few seconds "nf dropped his album Perception" she was about to cry tears of joy while I stale faced her.

Not going lie man had mad bars man. I love it. I love how he go deep in his feelings and raw or rough in others. I love it.

Now she all cooped up in her bed cause she got her time of the month . "Baby you not going by the family today ?"
She shook her head " I don't wanna but I'll go because I wanna see my family whoop y'all in foot ball"

"Whoop who ?" I started looking around because aint nobody finna beat me in a black man sport.

She laughed softly . She started pouting . Again. Whenever she on her period she 5 years old all over again. "Help me " she whined . I walked over to her and I helped her up. Then she took the opportunity to hug me . She started sniffling. Again. Why'd I come here knowing she sick ? Lord God.

"Baby my belly hurts" she whined while crying. I rubbed her back . " Aight go freshen up and I'll have the pills outside with some water"
When she pulled away I kissed her forehead and she leaned up for a kiss. I pecked and she went to the bathroom.

I went down and got her pills ready . Then Becca rolled up and just opened the door like she own the house . Then I see Dennis Marcus and Pierre pull up behind her.

I looked at Dennis and I couldn't help it but I bust out laughing. "Man what are you wearing ?" He was dressed like a real football player.

"We playing football ain't we ? I had to get into character. This is serious" he flexed his muscles. I shook.

"Man I told you Spanish people call soccer football" he sighed "Again I ask , did he say it with a accent ?"

Lord help me. "Again I say no but if you insist man" I shrugged and went up for Mya meanwhile Dennis running his mouth about how he ready to whoop some Spanish behind. Bare with me I'm trying not to swear.

When I got in she just got out . "Feeling better?"
"Mhmm" she nodded smiling . "See I told you , hea take these and let's bounce "
She took em and we bounced.

Before we walked out she held me back " thank you , I know I get disgusting sometimes when I have my period or when I'm sick , I'm sorry you have to put up with it -" I cut her off cuzz all what was coming out of her mouth was nonsense.

"Aye aye na you know I don't mind , being a boyfriend come with all this what I'm doing for you , aight I'm going take care of you like I'm supposed to. Plus I got nieces and Cha ,I mean my niece's aint old enough but they still get sick . Been there done that."
She smiled and nodded "alright "
"You my baybeh guh " that accent coming strong making her blush and laugh.
"Good cuzz if you can't handle me at worst you don't deserve my best " she said before walking off , my mouth hanged open. Girl...

We all hopped in the car since it was like six of us we tried to go in one car but because of Dennis we end up having to go in two cars . Because of his uniform and he didn't like havin people up under him unless it's Becca.

"I didn't wanna be in your car anyway "he yelled getting out and going to his "have Marcus legs all over mines, gay self" he yelled again. We chuckled. "You the one with yo big self taking up two damn seats"

Before they could continue we pulled out the parking spot and as usual rap to some songs

We pulled up at the house and soon I walked in , there's alot of people here I fail to believe this is all her family members.
They were having a cook out or something. The family was greeting us as we walked in.

One of her cousins came "hey guys good to see you all , the boys and most of the family is outside I'll show you guys" so we all followed behind her .

"Damn Mya you got a big family " Dennis mumbled. I agree. Never seen a family so big.

Then I see Alex coming towards us with some man i saw the other night. "Mar?" Mya asked in disbelief "Mai !" He came up pulled her into a hug that had me itching to pull him off her. He hugging her like I do . That's foul.

"Long time best friends " Alex said tryna make me feel better I guess but it ain't working . " I haven't seen you in so long " Mya expressed

"I know amor , I feel like it's been ages " amor ?? Who the hell he calling amor ? That mean love right? He forget her name now ?

"I know anyway this is my boyfriend August , August long time best friend Mariano" he stretched out his hand for a hand shake but I nodded at him .
I watched him dead in the face. He chuckled lightly and clapped his hand "so y'all ready to play ?"

Some others came around us , dressed in soccer type clothes.
"Thought we were playing football ?" Dennis jumped in. When they saw him they started laughing. I told him.

"Yes football" Some guy said can't remember his name.
"That's not football"
"Si futbol " mother mary turned to the rest guys behind him "futbol ? No ?" They nodded "futbol es football en Ingles no?" They nodded . Tryna understand what the heck was going. "No mar , futbol is soccer in English " they all paused to think about it for a second and then  'aaaaaahed' and nodded understanding .

"Ya comprendo" some of them said . Damn really wished I payed attention in Spanish class right about now.

"I'm sorry for the confusion, English isn't our first language" her brother said "is no problem" meanwhile Dennis said " I can tell" Becca slapped him upside his head "aye man"

"Aight let's do this." Alex clapped as we started parting teams.

20 minutes later .

Mya handed me my well deserved water . "Looks like somebody getting a whooping" Mya said smirking. "This ain't fair they professionals "I tried wheezing out . If I don't have abs after this I going to the doctor for a check up.

Dennis called a time out. Them niggas wasn't even breathing as hard as we was.
"What these niggas run on ? Diesel?!" Mya busted out laughing. "Y'all so outta shape , man up . Not y'all that was talking about y'all gon whoop them?" I mugged her.

Dennis looked as if he was tryna both cool him self down and drink the water all at the same time. 

Marcus was out on the grass. Pierre was just laid out on the bench. " I swear man I ain't gon be able to get up again." I agree to that .

"When they come back tell them we forfeit " Dennis mumbled.
They came back running "aye guys wanna finish up or y'all quit already ?" Mary Poppins said. I mugged him and despite how my body was feeling I agreed. "Yeah yeah we coming " Dennis looked at me like I grew a double head.

"Did you not just hear what I said ?"
"Ya babe I let you play but remember you can't be doing much , it's enough now " I shook my head" nah nah I'm fine"

"August please come and relax " I shook my head "nah I'm fine , let's go "

I went back and for the next five minutes whenever we were close to scoring this damn goal keeper would block it until we finally scored one. I notice Mariana was tryna impress my girl and she was cheering him on .

I ain't feel no way cuzz she said earlier she ain't nobody team she just going cheer everybody on which she has been doing faithfully.

But I don't like her cheering him on. I stopped and placed my hands on my knees so I catch myself. Everything was getting blurry and my head was getting light headed. So I was tryna get to the bench before I pass out. I think Mya had seen how I looked so she rushed over real quick.

I mean she must have that Spanish blood in her because she reached here real quick. "Babe you straight?" I shook my head . "Okay wait here lemme get ya pills real quick , just chill alright dont move" she ran off.

The ball rolled in my direction and when I look to see I see mariana staring right at me. Lord knows I ain't got the energy for this .

I kicked it back and sat down. I felt weak .

"Where'd Mya go ?" He came up and asked " she went inside come back"
He nodded "I'll go check on her " as he about to leave  "nah you'n have to she went to look for something fa me"  I got up

"I should go and help her find it " my words came out slurred. I walked a good few steps before I see Mya coming back but my body was falling asleep on me and I end up crashing into the table .

After that I was out like a light.

When I woke up I see Mya curled up under me . When I scan her face . It looked like she had been crying. I was wondering for what. My body was hurting a bit.

She stirred in her sleep I tried not to wake her but she stared straight up at me.

"Hey " she ignored me and got up and went to the bathroom and came back out with the first aid kit.

I sighed " Mya" I called out to her " I told you to stay put , I get so flipping scared everytime you pass out . To see your body so lifeless . It's scary, cause i feel like one day you not going get back up-" I shook my head wipin her tears away.

"Aight I quit I won't be busy like you ain't want me to. I'm sorry fa making you feel that way mama , You better believe if God gon take me we supposed to have a life established with kids and grandkids and all that , believe me . " She nodded tears till running from her eyes.

"I promise I a take care of my self more" I pulled her in for a hug but realized that was a mistake I had pain all the there for the fall I took earlier.

She found the cream for the pain and rub it where it hurt or where my skin changed color from the blow it took.

"Thank you babe " I pecked her . Whenever she cry for real for real like some heavy tears she don't talk much. That's how I know I hurt her feeling really bad.
"I'm gon freshen up" she said softly I nodded. 

"Mya ....." I called out to her and when she turned I continued "I'm sorry" she smiled and nodded "yeah yeah I forgive you after you buy me ice cream"
Ayye there my girl go.

When she went in.  My phone started ringing. "Helluh"

"Hey August , boss man here ... I need you to come up to my office  sometime later"

"Why wassup ?"

"Well ... I don't know how to tell you this but I'm gonna have to fire you "

I almost dropped the phone out my hands after I heard him say that.

"Please come to my office though there's some final things we need to talk about. It's urgent."

"Aight" I hung up before he got another word out.

Damn I rested back on the bed .
What the hell was I gonna do now. I couldn't go back to selling . Mya would kill me.
