Rachel and Mike {7 months ago}
"Do you know a girl about this tall," he demonstrated the height by placing his hand in front of his chest, "she wears all black and her hair is kind of messy." He asked to which Rachel shook her head.
"Follow me." He started dragging her to the rooftop without waiting for a reply.
✩Jade and Andre ♥︎{Present}
"Andre and I are seeing each other," Jade said causing Carter to drop his spoon with his mouth wild open.
"Are you messing with me?" He chuckled picking his spoon up, "Tori?" He looked at their unsmiling faces and Tori's soon to be pink face.
"No, Tori has known for a while now and she's happy for us," she smiled locking her fingers with Andre's and placing it on the table, "right Tori?" She raised her brow with a mischievous smile as the guys turned to her. Tori shut her eyes and nodded, her fingernails hurting her palm as she tightened her first under the table.
"Carter, are you cool with this?" Jade offered him a genuine smile, biting her lips as she waited for the reply.
"Yeah, I don't mind congrats man," he slapped Andre's shoulder.
"Oh, that's good because Dre-bear is going to announce us to the whole school now." Her smile not wavering.
"I am? Dre-bear? What?" Andre, Carter, and Jade asked shock evident on their faces.
"Yes babe, I mean you have this crazy unnecessary reputation and I just want everyone to know you're taken," She gave him puppy eyes as he squeezed her palm and gave her a questioning smile, "Just go with it." She mouthed.
"I mean that sounds logical, some girls think you're dating them." Carter agreed with Jade.
"Tori, you're a girl explain to him." She asked a now red-faced Tori.
Rachel and Mike {7 months ago}
"Stand here, I don't like you very much but I hate bitches who act like they can buy everything in the world more." He rolled his eyes as he pulled his phone out of his back pocket to text someone.
"Wait I am so confused, what's happening?" Rachel voiced with clear impatience.
"This short girl paid me to kiss you."
"You sound dumb, if you want to be my friend then talk to me or say hi like a normal person." She rolled her eyes folding her arms.
"No offense but I don't like jovial people, like why the fuck are you always happy it annoys me ok?" He let out his frustrations, "but I love to catch people red-handed and this babe clearly has a grudge with you. So you confront her and I sip my tea," He smiled at her.
"I'll go ahead with your stupid plan if I see the girl," she air-quoted the last word, "but I'm not kissing you, I have a boyfriend," She smirked flipping her hair on his face.
"Ok, even I was attracted to girls, you're definitely not my type," he rolled his eyes earning a middle finger from her, "I'll place my palm on your face and my thumb on your lips, that way if she sees us it will look like a romantic and loving kiss."
"Is it ok if I text my boyfriend?"
"What are you going to say? Hey, is it ok if I kiss a dude but it's not a kiss but it's going be a kiss--"
"I get it, it's dumb but after the plan, I'm telling him,"
"Not my problem."
✩Jade and Andre ♥︎{Present}
"I guess her silence means yes," Jade said after minutes of getting nothing but silence from Tori.
"So go ahead honey pie." She smiled at him again.
"Can we please stop with the sweet names?" Carter gave them a disgusted look as he asked.
"We'll do this together," he gave her hand a comforting squeeze as he smiled at her.
"There's no need for--" the ding sound signaling a text message from her phone interrupted her.
'Apparently Mike is gay, can you believe that? I mean he's handsome but still.'
"Sure, we'll definitely do this together." She rubbed his hand reassuringly as he glared at her.

||Alex and private number.||
Private number:
Do you want to see something shocking?
Alexandre:
No, thanks.
I thought you promised to stop texting me?
Private number:
This is the last time, who knows I might reveal my face today.
Go to the rooftop in a minute.
Alexandre:
Sure.
Private number:
Alone.
"I can't do this," She panicked taking deep breaths, "I have to tell him, how would I feel if I was in his shoes." She shook her head as she pulled her phone out.
"No," he snatched the phone from her, "don't put yourself in his shoes, it's never going to size you," he chuckled at his joke as Rachel stared at him with a blank face.
"This is why we don't get along," he rolled his eyes, "he's never going to agree to this and isn't it cool to find the person that wants to wreck your relationship, who knows she might be your best friend." He nodded slowly waiting for her to comprehend it.
"I don't do close female friends and you're right I'm a bit curious," She puffed her cheeks, "fine, let's get over with it."
✩Jade and Andre ♥︎{Present}
He cleared his throat loudly as he stood on the table and surprisingly the cafe became quietly. He dragged Jade to stand on the table beside him, she smiled and cuffed her elbow with his smiling at Tori and the crowd.
The students were still staring at them as he cleared his throat nervously, the kind of authority that came with this player image amazed him, he had no idea about his popularity, sure, he got some stares and smiles from people he didn't know but he just ignored them and pretended it was nothing.
"Are you going to say something?"Jade pinched his arm with a small smile.
"This is totally unnecessary," he said to Jade quietly and her reply was a simple smile.
"First of all, congratulations to everyone," He chuckled raising his bottled water earning claps and laughs from the cafeteria.
"I may have hurt some of you in the past, unintentionally perhaps," his voice was calm now, "or internationally and I'm sorry."
"Oh, you're seeking redemption right now? Ok." She mumbled clearing her throat.
"I've used some ladies over the past few months, these are honestly actions that I'm not proud of," He continued saying, the cafeteria was still quiet as they paid attention to what he was saying, his eyes searched for Chloe's face in the cafeteria, if there was a person he truly hurt it was probably for playing along with her knowing she might have had feelings for him.
Her glassy brown eyes made him offer her an apologetic face before tearing his gaze from hers, "but I found love and well it's definitely not like the first one but it has taught me one or more things about understanding people and becoming friendlier, bolder and I guess I found my extroverted self." He smiled as his eyes Rachel who walked in the cafeteria next to her boyfriend, Max, and Ray giving him an encouraging smile before the boyfriend found them a table.
"Well, to cut the long story short, I'm off the chart ladies," he raised his bottled water again as he earned applause and whistles from the crowd the moment his lips touched hers and his eyes discretely on Rachel's.
Rachel and Mike {7 months ago}
"She's almost here, I'll place my palm here," his palm touched her left cheek, "deep breaths," he instructed as she inhaled.
"I really won't be able to live with myself."
"Do you think you're going to marry this dude? I mean it's just a high school fling."
"How about you just stop--" her eyes were wild open as he placed his lips on his thumb when he heard the rusty rooftop open.
Alexandre stared at the couple with their back facing him uncomfortably, waiting to finally meet the number that kept telling him about his daily activities for the past few weeks.
"This is so uncomfortable," Rachel struggled to say as his thumb was still on her lips.
"Tell me about it, it's just a dude standing there," he replied looking at the guy wearing a black shirt and scratching his head, "He's not horrible looking." He smiled, openly checking him out.
"Well, if she's not here, we should probably stop this," She glared at him.
"You're short," were the first words that left his mouth when he stood straight.
"I'll have you know that I'm five feet seven and I did have a feeling that you were lying." She scoffed earning a glare from Mike before turning to look at the guy, "I had no idea people even came up her-- oh my fuck!" The words left her mouth as his hazel eyes showed nothing but hurt.
"Alex, this..." she motioned at her and Mike, "...is not what it looks like, Mike is Nath--" her words were cut short as he left the rooftop.
"I have to say you don't have a bad taste in guys." Mike gave her an awkward smile making her take a deep breath before running after him.
"Hold on Alex, why won't you listen to me?" She cried out, as she stopped running after him in the empty hallway, "I'm telling you it's not what it looks like at all." She yelled her voice breaking.
"I saw what I saw!" He yelled, turning to look at her, he was wanted to cry, punch something maybe, "I trusted you, Rachel. With every fucking thing!" He continued shouting as he kicked the dustbin beside him before dragging his hair with massive aggression.
"Please just listen to me, ok?" She pleaded with her face wet in tears.
"No," he said calmly, "Do you love me?" He asked moving closer to her. Rachel contemplated on the answer, she was not sure, how can you tell you're in love? He chuckled as she made no attempt to answer it. "That's what I thought." He nodded slowly before he walked away.
♡︎Jade, Tori, and Rachel.♥︎♡︎
"Are you sure you want to do this?" Tori sat beside him on the staircase, after the break.
"Do what?" He barely looked at her, before throwing his volleyball up and catching it like he has done for the past thirty minutes.
"Get back in the relationship game," she caught the ball and placed it beside her.
"I think I am, I'll only live once after all. If I don't do it now, when else. I was serious when I said the break up built me."
"Well, I'm happy for you," she intertwined their fingers with a smile, "I never expected you and Jade though."
Me neither," he chuckled, "Can I ask you something?"
"Should I be nervous?"
"Only if you did something wrong."
"Ok, shoot,"
"The day we started talking I was feeling really down and you were there for me, thanks for that but we've talked for months now and I know you're not the kind of person that talks to random because they're feeling down or anything," he stared at her expecting some kind of emotion, but he didn't find any because her face was facing down.
"Do you know anything about the breakup?" He squeezed her hand waiting for a response, "No lies."
"Do you remember Ella?" She asked making Andre shake his head." She moved before this session, she's about this tall, " she raised her hand showing him the height, "She may be the reason for the breakup."
"How long have you known about this?" He untangled their fingers slowly, hurt evident on his face as he stared at her.
" Since when she made Mike fake kiss Rachel." She mumbled, rubbing her hand.
"Fake kiss?" He chuckled, squeezing his eyes, "and you've known since when?"
"Possibly days before it happened?" She bit her lips waiting for him to blow up.
"Why didn't you tell me?"
"It was a topic you always avoided, Rachel tried to explain things to you but you didn't listen to her, Mike also tried, I also did, you always said you were not in the mood to talk about it,"
"How did you know about it?"
"Ella had this crazy crush on you before you and Rachel started dating, at first she thought it was going to be a short time thing but you guys lasted way longer than that, that's why she hated Rachel and as her best friend, I also did." She shrugged nonchalantly.
"Is there anything else?"
"Mike is gay, he and Carter have this thing going on." She blurted out slapping her palm over her mouth.
"Give it up, I know you don't accidentally spill things out and I know this is a lie."
"Fine! I really wanted to tell someone," she smiled, "but I'm not lying. Ok, something you might believe, Ella used to send you texts about your day." She admitted as minutes of silence grew between them.
Alex rubbed his fingers, chuckling under his breath in disbelief. He remembered Rachel clearly telling him it wasn't what it looked like. Max, Ray and Sophie telling him to talk to her, he had let his words his dad said under his breath slide, he should have listened to her, he should have listened to everybody but jealousy got the best of him. For all he knew, he might have lost the only girl he ever loved.
A part of him was glad he didn't hear the whole thing from her, it would have sounded like nothing but lies, who knew if Tori was lying. If what she said was true, then he truly didn't know the girl sitting beside him. He doubt he even knew himself, maybe he just wanted to be free, was that why he acted that way? Was that why he was quick to want to date Chloe before she spread the rumor about him being a player? The questions poured in his head and he couldn't find an answer to one.
"Why didn't you say anything sooner?" He asked barely whispering.
"You never wanted to talk about it." She shrugged avoiding his face.
"Are you sure Carter is gay?"
"Pretty sure, he never actually told me but I've been watching the both of them, so yeah."
"I'm a bad person, a bad friend and boyfriend too," he rubbed the bridge of his nose guiltily. Was he a narcissist? A voice asked in his head.
"That's not the word I'd use but you do tend to ignore your surroundings."
"Don't turn this into a lecture."
"I need to talk to Rachel." He brushed his clothes as he got up from the stairs.
"What about jade?" She stood up ready to stop him before he made a decision he might regret.
"It was fake,"
"Andre! I'm sorry I didn't tell you about the whole Ella and Mike thing." She apologized wanting to relieve the burden she carried on her chest.
"If you told me, I would have never met Carter and Jade. I'm mad at you but not too much." He kissed her forehead before rushing off.
"Hey," He held her shoulders to halt as he almost rammed into her.
"I heard something and I need to talk to you," he whispered in her right ear before dragging her away from her friends and towards his locker.
"Your new locker is nice," She whistled touching it.
"Is your boyfriend dating my friend?" The first thing he had to do was confirm the truth about his sexuality before spewing nonsense out.
"I knew he was seeing someone. Wanting shop?" She scoffed, "He hates going out."
"You don't look jealous..." He stared at her, that was her I feel betrayed face.
"We're not dating." She bit her lip, her big deep blue eyes staring as he took a deep breath whilst settling on the floor.
"I'm sorry," he muttered, "I should have listened--" he paused his words when some students stared at him, glaring at them before continuing, "I was a bad friend and boyfriend."
"I should have told you when Mike first suggested it," She said sitting beside him, "I was a bad friend and girlfriend too."
"I really am sorry." He sighed.
As a reply, she smiled at him and said, "I'm glad the truth is out, now we can be friends again," she chuckled before skipping away happily.
"Friends, cool." He said to nothing but the lockers.
~•~
Wooo, that's -- that's something. Friends?!? Pshh
Will they really end up as friends? Or will they talk it out, find out in the last chapter of FROM THE PERSPECTIVE OF A PLAYER.
I actually don't want Rachel to look cheap, like you can't just dump her and come back like, "Yo, I just found out the truth, date me again." 😂😂.
I think this is my first cliffhanger(Is this even a cliffhanger?)
And to think you guys were accusing poor Tori, she was still a bad friend though.
Anyhoo, don't forget to vote and comment.❤♡︎❤︎
