~Natsu's POV~

" Natsu! It may be the weekend, but you still need to get up! "a cold voice called into my room from my doorway. I groaned as I hugged my pillow.
" Ten more hours... And maybe more after that... "I yawned.
" I'll kick you awake if I have to. "
I turned my head to see my brother Zeref. He doesn't go out much, anti social... Also shy. I can only remember one person he'd go outside for, Lucy Heartfillia.
She was like a little sister... Maybe more. But, it's been years since she moved. She moved in sixth grade and now... She'd be in my grade so she's a Senior. All the way in America.
I'm happy she got to go, America has a lot of opportunities she can take left and right to lead to better life.
She used to live right across from my house, well mansion. Ya see, I live in a rich family the Dragneels' and it's Co worker side by side is Lucy's family the Heartfillias'.
Now the one right across is just one of their three mansions, it's still filled with everything and is occasionally visited by a maid to it can be cleaned, otherwise it's like an abandoned home missing the glow of life.
So many memories flood into my mind and I can't but smile at them. Lucy was a sweet, clumsy, thoughtful, funny, and also a very emotional girl. She cried, laughed, and smiled so easily. I miss here and so does the rest of my family I know, and also our friends Erza, Ice Freak aka Gray, Mira, Lisanna, Levy, Gajeel maybe not as much, Juvia, and Jellal miss her.
There's maybe a few more but those are the names I can remember of mutual friendship.

I was slapped out of my thoughts by my brother slapping his hand against the wall and I looked up at him.
" Natsu, you may want to see this! "he stated, a small smile set on his lips. What was it now?
I got up and pulled on a pair of jeans and walked out with him.
He jumped down the stairs as I followed and he opened our front door to the sunny outside.
I walked out onto the porch and looked around. What was the big deal?
" See a certain house with a car out front? "Zeref's head bobbed over at the one across the street and I yawned. I turned my head and looked, it's was the Heartfillia's mansion with a small black limo.
They my tired mind got it!
My eyes widened.
" Lucy's back? "I questioned looking over at Zeref and he nodded.

~Lucy's POV~

I can't believe I'm back in Magnolia... I haven't been here since sixth grade when I said goodbye.
Part of me now wants to go back to America, not because I had anyone there to call a friend, but so I didn't have to say hello and meet them all over again.
I looked out the small limo's window out to my old home. To me... It was nothing but a memory.
A memory of when mother still was alive and me and my father were still family.
No... I don't want to be somewhere that reminds me of my mother or any family. But to please my father I must obey.
" Lucy you spent enough time staring out that window, it's time to get inside. "my father spoke from next to me.
" Yes father. "I nodded respectfully. I opened the door and got out of the car. I closed the door and looked up at the mansion.
I waited til my father walked ahead of me but before I could take another step:
" LUCE!! "
I slowly turned my head to the mansion across the street, the Dragneel's main home. Right on the front porch were two of acquaintances from my childhood and from sixth grade... Natsu and his older brother Zeref.
" Lucy, are you coming or not!? "my father asked harshly, I jumped and looked up at him as he stood at the front door, one of our maids, Virgo keeping the door open.
" Y-Yes father! "I said a bit loudly and ran up and into the mansion. I looked around our entryway as it went to our grand stair case. I climbed up them and took a left down the hall to my old room which I had 'fixed' of all my past experiences in Magnolia.
I opened the door and looked around.
I had a big round dark maroon bed with a lighter maroon skirt. It had dark, light maroon, and pink pillows placed neatly on it as a light pink transparent curtain was held out of the way to access the way-to-fancy-for-it's-own-good bed. Past that to my wall was a big window with a door to a small rounded balcony with a white fancy railing. All that was atop a small stage with a small step to take, down from the small stage was a large desk against the wall and besides was a wall filled with books and a dark wood later going to the top of the wall. The book wall stopped after at least ten feet and then there was two black recliners with a glass coffee table between them and a small glass vase of fake pink flowers right in the middle.
I shut my white door and looked at my bed, to the right was a door to my fancy restroom, and to the wall on the right was a white double door to my walk in closet that held partially millions of clothes, shoes, purses, and jewelry.
I honestly hated being rich, even if it did have some perks. I wish my family wasn't born in the rich life, then my father wouldn't be so harsh and cold... But I'll take it. It's a consequence... I understand.
I sat on the maroon bed and sighed.
Natsu and Zeref... Those two looked different from the last time I saw them. I know Zeref's two years older that me and Natsu but he looked good. Then Natsu... He must work out with those muscles and abs. He also must have a girl whom he loves same as Zeref... They could probably get any woman with those looks and knowing them they could get anyone with their fun loving personality.
I remember how much I loved them as my brothers for the longest time, maybe even more, that love isn't gone but let's just say the love is worn and rough and unneeded, unnecessary. Something I held to get me through, knowing I had others.
Thinking back... It wasn't just those two, I had others.
Gray, Erza, Mira, Lisanna, Elfman, Levy, Juvia, Jellal, Gajeel, Cana, Igneel, Grandneey, mother...
There might have been more, but right now I don't want to think of the past. It hurts to rethink of it.

My body jerked, hearing our loud doorbell begin to ring and echo through our lifeless house. I got up and went to the grand stairs and peered around the corner to see Virgo open the door.
It was Zeref... But no Natsu?
I couldn't hear them, they were most likely saying a 'hello'.
I turned and walked back into my room after seeing Virgo nod and turn. She followed and came to my door before I shut it.
" Master Zeref is at the door asking for you princess. "she stated. I nodded.
" Thank you, Virgo. I will go see him. "I said, stepping out of my room, closing my door from behind. I walked down the stairs and took a breath before opening the front door a crack so all anyone would only see me and not inside the house.
" Lucy, it's been awhile. "Zeref said, a small grin on his face. He was handsome, and looked very nice, age is doing him well.
" I-It has been awhile-"
" Zeref! I told you to wait! "
I looked past Zeref to see my other old acquaintance, Natsu. He stopped right next to Zeref out of breath. He was handsome too.
" Luce! "he wheezed then stood up straight and grinned." Age has done you good, you look pretty. "
" So straight forward. "Zeref snickered, Natsu blushed, hearing what he said.
" Thank you both for stopping by, b-"
" Everyone will be so excited to see you! "Natsu interrupted me.
" I was excited to see you back Lucy, it's been years. "Zeref stated.
" It's been a blast seeing you two, but I just moved back. I need some time to myself... "I mumbled a bit but loud enough to be heard.

~Natsu's POV~

I watched as Lucy sorta backed up as she avoided any eye contact. She seemed nervous and uncomfortable.
This girl who shares the looks and name as the one I cared for in my childhood is not the same from back then.
" Alright, we'll see you around Lucy, I'm glad to see you're back and I'm sure everyone else will be hyped as well. "Zeref said and turned. He grabbed my shirt and dragged my down the steps of her front steps and across the street to my house.
I watched as Lucy slipped quickly back into her house.
I knew people changed, but this much?
Maybe it's because it's her first day back, maybe that's it!
I'm sure she'll be fine tomorrow!
