Chapter 3: Home For You

    "Oh... My... God..." I say as we stop at beautiful apartment building that had to have at less twenty floors on it. "Please tell me that Luna doesn't live on one of these floors." I say as Will walks up to the apartment, "No she doesn't live on one of these floors." I sigh with relief, the rent would be crazy expensive. "She lives on the top floor, in the penthouse suit." Will says making me stop, "Please tell me you're kidding..." I say as Will turns his head to me, "Luna is a model, a singer and a dancer, you really think she'd live in a cheap apartment?" Will says with a smile as he moves his head telling me to walk with him.

    I run to catch up with him, "Will, I can't afford this! I just got hired like two hours ago! I won't be able to pay rent... She's going to kick me out..." I say in a panic until I feel someone squeeze my shoulder making me look to see Will with a smile on his face. "Scarlett, relax. Everything will be fine, I promise." He says his eyes showing kindness which makes me relax. "Now crazy, lets go meet Luna." Will says as he lets go of my shoulder and starts to walk away, "Hey! I'm not crazy!" I yell as I catch up on him. "Whatever you say... Crazy." He says under his breath making me glare at him as we walk into the apartment.

    "Luna." Will says as the door opens as he opens his arms for a hug when I see a fist punch Will on the arm. Will grabs his arm and start to rub it, "Damn Luna, what the hell was that for?" Will ask as I cover my mouth to not laugh as I look at the door. Standing in a light blue robe, her arms crossed over her chest, her deep blonde hair that had purple at the ends was in a pun, her hazel eyes glaring at Will. "Oh he ask what that was for. Oh I don't know, maybe because I haven't seen or heard form you for a week and then at midnight you call me!" she steps closer to him, "You should be damn lucky I didn't punch you in your perfect face." She says as they both held their glares.

    I was scared that they were going to throw punches at each other until I see Luna smile as she hugs Will. "I missed you Will." Luna says as she buries her head on his neck. "I missed you too Luna, I'm sorry I haven't come to visit you lately, with this new play and..." He stops as he turns to me and pulls Luna back, "Luna, this is Scarlett, she's my new coworker." Luna turns to me and smiles before she gives me a big hug taking me by surprise. "Oh gosh... Wasn't ready for that." I say as she pulls back, "Sorry I'm a hugger. I'm Luna Pine by the way." "Scarlett Moon, and I know who you are, it's hard not to know who you are. I just didn't know you were Will's sister." I say. She looks at Will and rolls her eyes, "Yeah well his a pain in the ass." "Oh yeah I could tell already." I say making Luna giggle, "Oh I like her Will."

    Will looks at us both before he puts his hand on his head, "This was a horrible idea, I need a drink." He says as he pushes past Luna and walks in. "Does he do that a lot?" I ask making her nod, "All the time, he has a key, I'm surprised he knocked." She says as she shakes her head, "Well come on in, I'll show you around." She says as she turns and walk in with me following behind her.

    The first thing I see when I walk in is a large living room with a sectional couch, a flat screen tv and a bar which Will was at, making himself a drink. "Want a drink?" Will ask making me shake my head, "No I'm good thank you, I try not to drink." I say making him raise an eyebrow, "Luna, she doesn't drink, guess you shouldn't have anymore parties." Will making me roll my eyes, "I didn't say that, I don't mind parties, I'm... I'm just a lightweight so I don't drink." I say as Will walks back to me to me holding his drink.

    "Oh, lightweight, you must be way to much fun when you're drunk huh?" Luna says as she flops on the couch and puts her legs up and crosses them. "I don't know really, I only got drunk once and I really don't remember." I say as I rub my arm in embarrassment. "Hey, don't worry about it, you don't have to drink, they always have at less soda at the cast parties." Will says as he joins his sister on the couch. "Scarlett, don't be so scared, come sit down, we won't bite." Luna says as she points her foot at then end of the section.

    I smile and walk over and sit down, feeling more like home. "Well I might bite." Will says as he takes a drink and Luna hits him again, "You're going to scare her away!" Luna yells making Will smile and making me laugh, "You two really do act like brother and sister." I say making them nod, "Yeah, Will was there when my father died, right after the funeral, he took me and got me ice cream. And the weird thing was, there was no paparazzi anywhere, it was like there had something else to do then follow the heart break Luna Pine." Luna says as Will grabs her hand making her smile, "I couldn't ask for a better big brother." Will rolls his eyes, "By a year Luna." Will says. "Still, I'm happy to have you as my brother. Even if you are an ass." Luna says making me laugh. "Well on that happy note." Will says as he finishes his drink and stands, "I think it's time for me to go home and get some sleep." He looks over at me, "You should do the same." I nod, as I stand up with him, "Okay, I'll walk you out." I say as we start to walk to the door.

    We stop as he looks at me, "It's like you're walking me home on a first date huh?" I roll my eyes, "Don't hold your breath sweetheart." He starts to laugh, "I think you'll start to like me sooner or later Scarlett." I feel my cheeks get warm him saying that to me. "Well I guess we'll have to wait a see won't we?" I flirt which makes him notice. "Hey Luna." Will yells not taking his eyes off of me. "Yeah?" I hear behind me. "What time do you want me here for breakfast tomorrow? We start practice ten." "Umm... How about 8:30." Luna says making Will smile, "Well then I'll see you at 8:30 tomorrow. Would you like to ride with me?"

    I nod, "That would save me the money I don't have for a taxi." I say making Will laugh, "That's what I thought. I'll see you tomorrow Luna." He says as he lends in and kisses my cheek. I place my hand on my cheek as he smiles, "Have fun trying to get that out of your head." Will winks before he opens the door and walks out. I wish I could control my heart beat. "Seems like Will find another playmate." I hear behind me as I turn to see Luna looking at me. I shake my head, "No, we're just friends." I say as I walk to her. "Well if you say so, how about I show you to your room?" She ask as she starts to walk back making me follow.

    The more we walk, the more I see my new home. "So both rooms are like masters, so you'll have your own shower, bath, and whatever you need. I put some sheets on your bed but you are more then welcome to change them and paint your room however you like." Luna says as she stops in front of a door. "I want you to feel like home here. Use whatever you want to use in any of the rooms. You can even borrow some of my clothes if you like as long as you ask." "Thank you Luna, really thank you for everything, I would on the streets if you didn't let me stay with you." I say as she opens for me to see my room.

    I beautiful king size bed, a window seal looking out in New York, and how alive it became at night. "Wow." I say say as I step in more. "You like it?" She ask making me stop and turn to her, "It's incredible, how can I even thank you?" I ask but Luna just shook her head, "Nothing, it's just nice to have a room mate who I think I'll get along with." She says as she gives me a hug and this time I returned it. "Now, go to sleep, William will be here in in a few hours, and I have a feeling you want to get all dolled up and get some beauty sleep." She says as she starts to walk out of the room.

    "That's not how it is Luna, I don't have feelings for Will." I say making her stop at the door and turn her head to me, "You know, I know how you can thank me." She says not even caring what I said, like she doesn't believe me. "How?" I ask even though it kind of scared me, for some odd reason she liked the idea of Will and I together even if I tell her that it won't happen.

    "Just... Keep that smile on my brother's face." Luna says making me catch my breath. "He doesn't smile much anymore, and that smile he gives you, that's the smile that I use to see all the time. So as a thanks for giving you a home, just keep my brother happy, and to always have that smile again. Okay?" I kind of looked at her for awhile trying to figure out what to say to her until I finally nod, "I'll try my best." I say making Luna smile, "That's all I can ask. Good night Scarlett." Luna says as she closes the door, "Good night..." I say to myself as I sat on the bed.

    I know I should go to sleep, to rest for tomorrow but I had so much on my mind, I couldn't even image sleeping right now. To much has happened since I moved here, first I got the job which is amazing, I'm living in a penthouse with a great roommate and then... there's Will. I lay back on the bed, was he really as different as I thought he was? I close my eyes remembering those magazine articles, how many girlfriends his had over the years, but then I remember what he did for me tonight. I sigh as I sit up again, "Maybe I shouldn't be so hard on him." I thought to myself as I get up and walk to my backpack only to get my pajamas and my picture of my father.

    I smile to myself as I put the picture on my nightstand and start to get into my pajamas thinking about tomorrow. It's was my first real rehearsal on Broadway. I'm going to be on stage where great play begin and where actors and actresses got their start, one day that might be me. As I lay in bed and close my eyes, I thought about the play I would be in and remembering... I had to kiss Will Charm. That was the last thing I thought of before I fell in a dreamless sleep.

Really late update but with the holidays and everything going on i've been super busy. But I am still working on my other stories but this is the one I've been in the mood to write.
