My heart used to beat

It beat so fast

Now its covered in red

And covered in shattered glass

The red oozes out

And feels like a weight

Its so heavy I fall to my knees

Its so taunting

I start to plea.

Red covers my hands

As I try to stop the bleeding

My hands are covered in blood

I tell myself, 'just keep breathing.'

My body aches

While the blood flow slows

I lose feeling in my head

All the way to my toes

I'm numb the only thing I feel

Is the blood gushing into my hand

Tears stream down my face

And then I feel numb

I feel it all at once

And there's no where to run
