000, prologue

Polly Gray, a woman of unwavering determination and an impeccable eye for detail, had undertaken a mission that would leave a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to witness it. With a heart brimming with love for her niece Ada, she had set her sights on orchestrating a wedding so breathtakingly beautiful and epic that it would be etched into the annals of history as a timeless masterpiece of celebration.

When Ada found herself expecting a child with Freddie Throne, a mix of emotions swirled within the Shelby family. Their reactions were far from straightforward - not quite mad, not exactly happy, but a complex blend of concern, confusion, and a deep-seated commitment to their sister's happiness. Despite the unconventional circumstances, their unwavering loyalty to Ada compelled them to stand by her side, ready to do whatever it took to support her

A wedding, a brilliant solution that promised to mend countless threads, a wedding destined to cloak the past in a shroud of celebration, a wedding that would echo through time in the tales of generations to come.

Polly Shelby, the mastermind orchestrator, held every intricate detail of this grand event firmly in her grasp. She painstakingly wove together each element with precision and finesse, leaving no room for imperfection. From the elegantly adorned tables to the exquisite array of beverages, and the resplendent bridal gown, Polly left no stone unturned in crafting an occasion that transcended the bounds of mere dreams for any bride-to-be. Every facet of this wedding was a testament to her impeccable taste and unwavering commitment to making it an affair to remember.

And then, like a lightning bolt of inspiration, it struck her. She yearned for this wedding to stand apart from the sea of conventional celebrations. Polly Shelby didn't just want different; she craved novelty, something so remarkable that it would set the wedding world abuzz with excitement. She longed for a wedding that would be more than just an event; she wanted it to be an experience-a resounding, vibrant, and unforgettable experience.

For two whole days, she embarked on a relentless quest to find the perfect music band, searching high and low, in every nook and cranny, leaving no stone unturned. Yet, despite her tireless efforts, the ideal band remained elusive, a missing piece of her grand vision.

It wasn't until a friendly blonde woman from the neighborhood approached her that everything changed. This neighbor shared an exciting secret: a music band that had the extraordinary ability to make an entire wedding come alive with the thunderous beats of their drums.

"Are you certain they're excellent? I don't want to take any chances with anything going wrong," Polly inquired cautiously.

"Trust me, I was there, and I saw it firsthand with my own eyes-they were incredible. So good that millions of people wanted them for their events-millionaires, businessmen, billionaires, they all sought after them," the woman replied confidently.

"If that's the case," Polly murmured, her thumb gently massaging her forehead as she contemplated whether Thomas would approve. Then again, she reminded herself, she was the one in charge, and she wasn't overly concerned about Thomas's opinion.

"I want them," Polly snapped decisively. "Cost is no concern. I'm determined to have them," she declared to her neighbor. "I'll cover all their expenses, as long as they deliver a flawless performance."

The woman smiled warmly and said, "Certainly, I'll provide you with their number. They're located in West Bromwich in the meantime. But remember, you'll need to call their manager first for your special wedding."

"What's his name, and what should I say when I call?" Polly inquired with curiosity.

The woman gave a sly smirk and said, "Her name is Juliette. When you call her, just let her know when you want them to come and where they should be."

With a newfound sense of determination, "a businesswoman?" She lit up a cigarette and held it between her lips. She smirked and declared, "Give me her number."
