AFTER 2 WEEKS

GAJEEL'S POV

"Hey girls, are you done yet? It's about time."

I growled at them as I knocked on the door.

Yeah today, my sister is getting married to the love of her life in much extravagant arrangements; a beachside wedding.

I must really appreciate Gray, my soon to be brother-in-law, he always seems to find a way to make my Sprinkler happy and spell bound.

Just two weeks before our parent's death anniversary, he proposed to her and came to know about her pregnancy as well.

I'm glad he took the news in a positive and happy note. Both of them are quite excited about the baby little did they know having a baby is not as fancy as it seems. 

Just then, Levy, my cute petite wife, opened the door,

"Oh Gajeel, just wait for a few minutes. She is not ready yet, just now she finished throwing up. 
         Can you just get a glass of lime juice, at least, by drinking that her nausea may come under control."

I peeped inside and saw Juvia's head being held by Lucy as she was throwing up again which made me worried.

"Damn, not today also. Hey are you sure it's really normal? As far as I remember you were never like this." 

I asked her with a worried expression.

"Yeah, everyone is different. It looks a little worse for her, poor thing. Just go and get the juice. We will take care of the rest."

Levy pushed me away and went in to attend her.

As I went to the stall which was arranged at the beach resort party hall for the reception party. 

I saw Salamander playing with the kids running and chasing around in the tuxedo.

"Hey stop it. Lily, Shou what are you two doing running around? Don't ruin your dress before the main program." 
I caught hold of my kids.

"Gajeel, let them be. They are just playing catch and chase with us. Isn't Nashi?" He grinned and carried his daughter in his arms. "Yes daddy". She happily exclaimed.

"So I guess, it's already time for the wedding to start. Did Juvia get ready?" Natsu asked me for which I replied, 
"Nope, looks like they might take a little more time as she is being thrown up continuously. 
  Hey look after the kids, I will go and get her lime juice." I took the lime juice which the attender gave me.

GRAY'S POV

"Hey, does it look okay now?" I asked Jellal and Lyon as they were the ones who are currently helping me out.

"Yeah it looks good on you. Now button up your coat." 

Jellal advised him while having his baby boy in the arms.

Just then, Natsu and the kids came in. The kids complimented me, "Uncle, you look nice." I bent down to hug them in a group, "Thank you dears. Even you guys, look stunning and cute."

My best man for today's event, Natsu spoke, "So Ice-princess, all set, huh!!! Don't go drooling over the altar after seeing your bride. And no sweaty and shaky hands or else the ring might slip."

"Oh Natsu, stop it. I don't need your advice. I'm ready. What's happening over there in the girl's room? Is Juvia alright? " 

I got up and adjusted my light blue shirt and buttoned up my black coat which was stitched perfectly.

"I heard she was throwing up till now. Gajeel has gone to give lime juice to ease out of her discomfort. 
  After that, they will get ready. So, by that time, practice your vows, don't mess them up." He patted my shoulders.

I'm now worried about my princess. Hope she doesn't faint during the wedding. 

I have arranged our wedding in the beach setup according to her wish which I made sure, she didn't know about it until this morning. 

Juvia looked shocked as I saw her expression through Skype, thanks to Lucy. 

I don't understand this custom which says the groom is not allowed to see the bride before the wedding but my princess believes them. So I had to respect her opinion.

"Hey, wait let me go and check her out. I'm worried." 

As I dashed out I didn't care for the customs as for me she and her health is much more important than those petty things.

"Stop it Gray. You shouldn't see the bride be…." 

I didn't listen to the guys and made my way to the girl's room where she was getting ready.

I knocked the door only to be answered by Erza, 
"Mr.Groom, what do you want? Don't you know you shouldn't see your bride before she walks down the aisle?" She wriggled her eyebrows.

"I heard she wasn't feeling well still. So I came to check her out." I said and tried to peep inside but she blocked the view.

"For your info, she is feeling alright now thanks to the juice. So just give us 10 minutes, we will get your bride ready." She slammed the door against my face.

"Geez, Erza at least, for today you can treat me with little respect. I'm the star of this evening." I huffed and went back to my room.

There I saw my parents waiting for me, "So Gray, where did you go?"

"Just took a walk around the corridor, nothing much." I scratched my head and looked away.

My mom came near me and adjusted the black bowtie making it look proper. 

I saw her tearing up, "Mom, what happened? Why are you crying?" I asked worried what might have happened.

She wiped the tears, 

"It's just my baby has grown up and now he is getting married to the love of his life. 
     I'm really proud and happy for you, my baby. These are just the happy tears. 
    It feels like just yesterday that I held you in my arms, a tiny human being who knew nothing about this vast world.
   But now, you have become the only world for the girl who loves and will love you forever." My mom began to cry hard.

I leaned forward and wiped her tears and hugged her to comfort her. 

"Mom, thanks to you, that I'm in this world. It's because of your love and sacrifice that I'm still standing tall and proud. 
  Please don't cry. Even if I get married I will always be your son, your baby, mom.." I consoled her.

My dad came near us and hugged us,
    "I'm really lucky to have a family like this. Now, our happiness will only double with the arrival of our adorable daughter-in-law whom we saw as our daughter from the day one. 
   Again in another 8 months, we will have our tiny bundle of joy in our arms.
    Gray, my son, we as your parents are really proud of you. To think we brought you up in a good and well mannered way makes us swell up with pride.
     Don't forget you are our pride and joy. We are lucky to have you as our son. Always be happy along with your wife and children.
    Son, get ready to enter the new adventure of your life. I'm sure you guys will enjoy it."

All those words from my parents are making me emotional. I couldn't control my tears anymore and let them roll down.

"Mom, dad, thank you very much. It's me who is lucky to have parents like you, who are always supportive and encouraged me in every possible step of my life. 
      If it weren't for your decision to have me, then I wouldn't be standing here right now. Thank you for everything you have done for me till now." I hugged them and cried.

Just then the doors opened, my aunts Ur and Liliyette were standing and looking at us.

"Brother, Mika-san, didn't I tell you both to go and encourage him so that he doesn't get nervous. 
   But looks like you have made him even more vulnerable." Ur smiled softly.

"Gray, you are the groom. You shouldn't tear up, be brave and nothing is going to change. It's your day, my boy. If you keep crying then Juvia-chan won't like it.
   So wipe those tears and let us put on some subtle makeup for highlighting your handsome visage to its glory." 

Liliyette came up to me and wiped my tears while Ur wiped my dad's and mom's tears.

After sometime, we were called up for the ceremony.

JUVIA'S POV

"Juvia, you look pretty and gorgeous. We are sure Gray will once again fall head over heels for you." 

Lucy-san exclaimed as she adjusted my white floral strapless wedding gown. 

The gown had lacy white frills in the end and it surely hugged my bosoms perfectly without making it look awkward.

"Now Juvia, just wear these white gloves. Erza get the veil ready. She is all done." 

Levy-San exclaimed and gave me the gloves which I didn't want to wear. Both of them looked confused.

"Levy-san, I want to feel the presence of my wedding ring naturally on my finger.
   So that's, why I don't want to wear these gloves. Sorry." I apologised to her for which she nodded.

Then the beautician applied some makeup who Lucy-san hired for this special occasion.

She applied the foundation which matched my skin tone then some compact finally baby pink lipstick and matching light blush on my cheeks.

For the eyes part, she darkened my eyebrow and put some mascara to make my eyelashes thick and beautiful. 

When everything was done, they asked me to look in the mirror and my opinion.

When I saw myself in the mirror, for the first time I felt, I looked a little bit beautiful. Hope even Gray finds that.

"I love it. Thank you Akio-San for your wonderful help in makeup. Please do attend the reception party." 

I thanked and invited her for which she happily nodded and congratulated me.

Then Erza-San brought the 7foot long veil and wore it over my head and covered my face and Lucy-san gave me the bouquet.

"Juvia, it looks like your nausea is under control for now. Let's hope it doesn't resurface during the ceremony. Now you are ready. Let's go and meet your soon-to-be husband." 

Lucy-san nudged her elbow against mine making me blush.

I still feel like this is a dream and pray to God to not wake me up soon. Just then doors opened and it was Gajeel-kun and Jellal.

"Okay Juvia, it's about time. We will leave now and wait for your arrival. Gajeel, Jellal come soon with our bride."

Levy-San exclaimed and the girls went out to the venue.

So it was just me, Gajeel-kun and Jellal. Both of them looked happy. I opened my veil to face them.

"Sprinkler, you look beautiful just like our mother. So are you ready to be a Fullbuster for real now?" He asked me with a grin.

"Yeah Juvia, you are gorgeous. I'm sure Gray will fall flat for you once again. Soon-to-be Mrs.Fullbuster, how are you feeling now?" Jellal asked, making me blush hard.

I smiled, "Yes, I'm excited and thrilled. Finally, for real and officially, I'm going to be a Fullbuster.
I'm looking forward to meeting my Gray. Thank you Jellal and Gajeel-kun for the compliment." 

"Fine, come let's go but before that Juvia, listen whatever happens from now. 
  This is your life, enjoy and live every moment happily and fully.
 
  We are sure Gray will keep up his promise. But don't forget that you have our back even if you become his wife. You will always be our sister. 
  
You are the pride of our family. I'm sure mom and dad will be happy and shower their blessings on you both.
  Congratulations Sprinkler, come let's go and make your dream into a stunning reality." 

I began to tear up and hugged them both. 

"Thank you, Gajeel-kun and Jellal for being with me as my brothers. You guys are the best. I'm really lucky to have you guys in my life.
    I love you both equally and dearly. Thank you for everything until today. Thank you…...thank you...for everything."

They both hugged me back and Jellal wiped my tears. 

"No!! the bride shouldn't cry on her special day. The makeup will get ruined then the girls will kill us. Come let's go, Gajeel, lead us to outside." 

Jellal wiped the remaining tears from my face without removing the makeup and covered my face with the veil.

I took Gajeel-kun's arm as he is the one who will give me away to Gray.

Soon we reached the venue where our wedding stage was set up. The background music, a sweet romantic melody was played as we walked the red carpet.

When we reached the floral arch which had multiple flowers, the red carpet was laid till the stage. The kids were ready for their segment.

As the music played, we slowly made way while Lily and Nashi were the flower girls and Shou is the page boy. The kids looked adorable in their dress.

GRAY'S POV

I was standing on the stage waiting for my princess to come. As soon as the background music began to play, I became nervous as the minutes passed by.

Both Natsu and Lyon whispered from the back,
"Hey Gray, don't make that ugly face or else Juvia won't like it. Just stay calm man. Here, she has entered the arch."

I looked towards the arch, my princess was looking so beautiful even though I couldn't see her face and slowly made her way towards me down the aisle while the little girls threw flowers on her path.

As she reached the stage, I extended my hand as Gajeel passed her to me. He stood behind Juvia along with Levy. 

I and she stood in the middle of the stage and the ceremony was started by the priest christening.

I was still holding her hand in my hand and looked at her veil covered face. 

'Man, just get it over with this already.' I thought for myself. Then came the time for saying our vows.

I started with mine,
"Juvia, ever since I saw you for the first time, you made me feel warmth which I never felt before. 
  From that I knew you are someone whose going to be a special part of my life.

   Slowly I fell for your charms, your personality and your happy smiling face. 
    Even though it took me some time to say it to you, I loved you for a long time.
 
 From the day I proposed my love to you, I vowed to myself that I should keep you happy,  loved and make you feel special. 
 
Now that we have reached this point of life, I swear I will always keep you happy, fulfill your wishes and cherish you and our moments together for the rest of my life. 
 
 I promise, I will remain loyal towards you as you are the only woman I loved and will love in a romantic way for the rest of my life. 
   
I won't stray or leave you alone in any difficult situations whatever it is we will face it together and go through it.
   Juvia, I love you, my princess."

I couldn't fully finish my vows as I was getting nervous but almost told her everything which I meant to tell her. I could tell she was crying underneath her veil. 

Now Juvia began her vows,

"Gray, first of all, thank you for entering my life. You are the sunshine who lit my dark world and painted it with vibrant colours.

       It is after getting to know you that I slowly changed my personality into a bright and cheerful one. 

    You were there for me in all the troubling situations and saved me like a prince in his shining armour.

    I'm thankful and grateful for all the things you have done for me till and will from now.

     I promise, I will make you happy, smile, feel loved and content each and everyday without letting any sorrow wash over us.

   Your happiness is my priority. You are my world and my life belongs to you. 
 Gray, I Love you too."

After hearing our vows the gathering went on sentimental mode, I could see my mom wiping her tears even Erza and Lucy were doing so.

Then the priest continued his another important work,

"Do you Gray Fullbuster, take this woman as your lawfully wedded wife and cherish her for the rest of your life?"

"Yes, I do." I said with a bright smile on my face.

"Do you Juvia Locksar, take this man as your lawfully wedded husband and cherish him for the rest of your life?"

"Yes, I do." She said with a happy tone, of course.

Then Wendy brings the tray which had a small velvet pillow which beared our wedding ring.

I took the platinum ring which had a bright blue gemstone in the mid and wore it around her left ring finger. 

Then she took the ring which was the same but the Male version with a bit of broad bands and wore it around my finger. 

Both of our respective rings had our names carved underneath the surface.

"With the power bestowed upon me by the almighty, I pronounce this lovely couple as the husband and wife from now on. Now you may kiss the bride."

The priest finally came to the best part which I was waiting for.

I slowly lifted her veil, I saw my wife for the very first time today. She looks so beautiful and gorgeous just like a real princess. 

I cupped her face and slowly leaned forward to kiss her which he responded back. 

We could hear the crowd cheering for us but didn't care as we were lost in our own world feeling each other's love for one another.

Then after that, she threw her bouquet which was caught by Ultear, so she is one next in line to get married, hahaha....old maid.

Soon after we had the reception party where our friends and others congratulated us and gave us their best wishes and presents.

Juvia became very emotional when the girls talked about her. I didn't expect Natsu to give an emotional speech for me which came as an unexpected gift.

But I do appreciate all our friends for their help and support, without them this wouldn't have happened. 

Now it was time for dance, "Princess, wanna join the dance floor with me?" I grinned and asked for her hand which she slowly placed on my palm.

We happily danced for the slow music and the spotlight fell on us. We were the stars for this evening. Everyone cheered for us and hooted.

Finally after everything settled down, it was night time. Slowly the other guests were leaving. 

I had booked a honeymoon suite for us and some rooms for other close relatives and friends on this very resort.

The girls had pulled Juvia to a side while they sent me to the room.

JUVIA'S POV

"So Juvia, finally you have become Juvia Fullbuster for real. I'm happy for you dear. Here this is a small gift from our side."  Aunt Layla, Aunt Grandeeny and aunt Irene congratulated me.

"Thank you so much, my dear aunts." I hug them back. Then they left with their grandkids.

Then Mom and Dad come to me once again and hug me, 

"Dear, we are happy for you and our Gray. Now he is your responsibility and you are his responsibility. We are sure both of you will do a good job. 
    Please take care of our Gray. Welcome to the Fullbuster family, Juvia-chan." Both dad and mom said their heartfelt words.

"Sure I will." I smiled. Then they left me and soon girls came by my side.

"So Juvia, welcome to the new phase of life. Now go and enjoy your honeymoon. Don't forget that a baby is inside you so control him and yourself." Levy-San smirked.

I blushed red, "Stop it Levy-San, don't embarrass me further."

"Okay Juvia, now go on, your husband is waiting for you. We will look after the things here and go back to our rooms. Good night and enjoy your first night, Mrs.Fullbuster." The girls cooed and sent me inside my room.

As I went in, it looked dark. I searched for the light switch and found one. 

When I turned it on, I saw my Gray standing near it with his arms crossed against his chest with a broad smile on his handsome face.

I yelped in surprise,"You scared me, Gray." Then I went up to him and hugged him.

He snaked his arms around my waist and pulled me towards his chest.

"Juvia Fullbuster, my very own wife. You look so beautiful and lovely, my princess. I'm really lucky to have found you in my life. Thank you for everything. I'm looking forward to leading our life now as husband and wife." He said looking into my eyes.

I smiled and laid my head on his chest, 
"Gray Fullbuster, I'm really happy and can't believe that this moment is real. I have always longed for this moment to happen for real and it has happened. I'm looking forward to starting this new phase. I love you, my husband."

He leaned forward and kissed my lips, "I love you too, my wife. Soon we will have our baby in our arms. I'm excited for it as well." I giggled and snaked my arms around his neck.

"Even I'm excited, can't wait to meet my mini Gray."

"No I want mini Juvia not mini me." He poured which made him look cute. I pinched his nose,

"No, mini Gray" He exclaimed.

"No, mini Juvia"  I said.

Then he scooped down to carry me to the bed and laid me down gently. He towered over me and slowly removed his coat and unbuttoned his shirt.

"But for now, I want my baby's mother." He leaned her head and kissed my forehead.

Finally the new phase of our life began. I'm really lucky that I found my soulmate in Gray.

When I look back those fortune cookies were really a miracle which predicted my future correctly.

I thank my mom and dad for bringing me into this world and my uncle who took care of us after my parent's demise. 

It is because of him, I got a second chance to live to see this bright future in front of me.

And finally thank my Gray, he is the one who made this all happen if he didn't love me.

I would have ended up dead a long time ago after that Bora idiot's revenge scheme.

"Princess, quit thinking. This is not a dream but a stunning reality. I love you."

I cupped his face with both my palms and kissed him on his lips, "I love you too. Thank you for being there for me, my love."

"I swear, I will be there for you for the rest of our life together. Come let me take you to la la land." I giggled which made him chuckle.
