TIME SKIP

JUVIA'S POV

Now me and my friends are on our way to Levy-San's house in a cab.

"Yeah stop here, driver. This is the place where we need to get down." Lucy-san told him.

We got down in front of the Mcgarden's Mansion. After clearing out the security check in the main gate, their servant led us inside the mansion.

We saw Levy-San sitting on the sofa along with her parents. We greeted her parents and gave her a warm hug and wished her, "Happy Birthday". She wholeheartedly smiled at us.

Then she introduced me to her parents, "Mom, Dad!! She is Juvia, Gajeel's sister."

"Oh!! Didn't know our future son-in-law had such a cute and beautiful sister. Nice meeting you, dear. Now you are also a part of our family." They flashed their warm smile.

"Okay girls, come let's go to my room." She led us to her room.

After going to her room, we gave her presents which we brought. I gave her a silver floral bracelet, Erza-San gave her a photo frame which contains a group pic of our gang which we took after the sports event and Lucy-san gave her a trilogy collection of her favourite author.

Levy-San began to tear up, "you girls are the best. I'm blessed to have you as my friends. Thank you guys."

"So Levy, what gift did your parents give you?" Erza-San asked her.

She smiled brightly and wiped her tears, "They gave me the permission that I can marry Gajeel anytime."

We congratulated her but her face adorned a frown, "But before that Gajeel must bring the proposal, will he do that? Moreover, he didn't call me till to wish me birthday." She pouted.

"Lucy, Erza, why did you guys bring a bag? Are you staying over here with me?" She asked them.

Their bag contained the dresses required for 2 days stay at the beach resort.

I packed my bag, told Gray to bring it with him, at the start he didn't agree but later compiled it to my order.

"No, we are taking you to a place and we are going to stay there for 2 days." Lucy-san exclaimed.

Soon after eating the lunch, we left for the beach resort, obviously to Levy-San's guessing.

GRAY'S POV

Now, I and Natsu are on our way to the resort, Gajeel and Jellal went ahead of us to prepare the things for the party.

We got late because the artist took sometime to finish the final details of the portrait at the last moment.

But the portrait has turned out to be quite a realistic sketch. Hope my Juvia likes it.

"Hey Ice-prick, Juvia made you her servant huh!!" Natsu teased me.

I raised my brows and gave him a questioning look, "what makes you say that huh?"

He pointed to the extra baggage I was carrying along with my bag. "Shut up, I'm helping her out. Don't ruin my mood." I growled at him while he was still laughing.

We soon reached the resort and took the direction towards the birthday hall from the receptionist. The hall was situated at the first floor's left wing.

As we entered, it was indeed decorated splendidly and much to Levy's liking.

Blue, white and red balloons covering the wall and floor with a red carpet and a central stage.

Gajeel did invite all of our classmates and Levy's other friends for the party. So, we can expect a bigger gala time.

Even Gajeel was well groomed, wearing a black suit and white shirt underneath.

Hairs being braided into a ponytail which actually suited his face.

"Yo Metal-head, looking like a macho. All the best with the proposal." Natsu wished him while I smiled at him.

We asked him for the keys for our room which Jellal gave us, "Here take this, the right one is our room key while the left one is the girl's room key. Erza will fetch this from you once she comes."

We left them and went to the assigned room to freshen up and to get changed to the formal clothing.

After some time, I was still relaxing in the bed in my boxers while the flame-breath was bathing.

I heard the door knock, "Come in it's open." I sat up in the bed, quickly wore the towel around my waist or else Erza would kill me.

"Oh Juvia, it's you. When did you come?" I asked her and patted the bed indicating she wanted to come and sit. She came and sat next to me.

"Gray, give me the key, we need to get ready. Poor Levy-San, she is lost in the thoughts thinking what's happening around her." I decided to play with her to make her angry as she made me carry her bag.

"No, I won't give it so soon." I raised my hand up so that she doesn't reach for it.

She smirked at me, "Oh you are the one whose playing with me. I won't lose to you this time. I will fight back."

I remembered the last time when I pulled a play like that but stopped luckily.

She was trying to reach for my hands, her body brushing against mine but I didn't allow her.

During the process, she pushed me down on the bed and was trying to grab the keys. I didn't pull back, "As if you can have the key now."

I got up to run but she pulled my wrist hard which caused me to lose balance and fell on her.

This was the first time were our bodies pressed against each other. Our lips barely inches away, I lost the battle.

I smiled at her and leaned to capture her lips and she responded back.

I lifted my body so that my weight doesn't burden her. I cupped her face and caressed her cheeks and continued with the kiss which soon turned into a heated lip-lock session.

We had no intention to separate our lips if it wasn't for an ugly interruption, "Gross Gray, what are you doing with her?"

Natsu shouted at us which made us snap out of our session.

She pushed me apart and took the key and her bag from the bed and ran out blushing.

"Enough of that girly act flame-brain!!! How do you always ruin the heat of the moment? That too, you ruin the moments of my life so easily." I yelled at him as he was still covering his eyes.

NARRATOR'S POV

After sometime, the girls got ready and led Levy to the decorated hall. They refused to tell her what was going to happen.

As the door of the hall opened, Levy's favourite romantic number began to play in the background.

She was awestruck to see the decorated hall and at the centre stage, she saw Gajeel in the suit with a bouquet in his hands.

Levy soon ran towards him and hugged him. She literally jumped in his arms, he beautifully caught her and wished her happy birthday.

Soon the celebration began, after the cake cutting part came the most important segment of this party, the proposal part.

Gajeel got down on his knees and pulled out a velvet box and presented her the gold ring.

"Levy, I know from the very start that you were made for me. The Gajeel of past has changed drastically under your care and love into the person even I have never imagined to be.
I hope you can continue loving me for the rest of my life. I swear his sworn life of mine will always belong only to you, my dear. I Love You. Will you marry me?"

Levy let out a happy cry and hugged him and accepted his proposal and kissed him on the lips confirming their engagement.

Everyone present there was cheering for their friends' happiness.

GRAY'S POV

Finally, the metal-head proposed to her. The girls were letting out happy tears for their friend's happiness.

Juvia was in a mess as she was happy. Her brother has found the happiness which he deserved in his life.

I took this as the opportunity to confess my love to her. I whispered in Jellal's ears,"Hey Jellal, lead Juvia to the terrace. I want to tell her something, make it look like you are leading her there." He smiled and began with his action.

After they left the hall, I went to the room and got the gift which I bought for Juvia and made my way to the terrace.

There I saw Jellal patting her shoulder and calming her down. I gestured to him to leave now and he left.

"Hey Juvia, stop crying. You should be happy that your brother is going into the next phase of life. So cheer up." I wiped her tears with my fingers.

She smiled at me and wiped her tears, "Yes, you are right, Gray. I'm happy for him and I'm sure even my parents are happy for him as well. Thank you for encouraging me."

Before I could open my arms, and hint her to hug me, she rushed to embrace and began to cry.

"I'm truly happy for him, Gray. Hope he can remain like this for the rest of his life and I'm sure Levy will take care of him."

I hugged her back and ran my palms up and down her back to make her relax. So that I can propose my love.

"So Gray, what was it that you wanted to tell me?" She asked looking into my eyes.

"Yes, Juvia for once, can you be honest with me?"

"I'm always honest in my words and actions,Gray. So you can ask me anything?" She assured me.

Suddenly I can feel my heart beat increasing and my face and body getting warmed up.

I didn't break the hug, "Juvia, what do you feel about me?"

She began to blush and couldn't form a single word.

"Gray, you are the best. You are a gentleman, caring, kind, friendly and sometimes a pervert." She giggled at the last part while my eyes twitched.

"And I feel safe in your arms,Gray. Sometimes, I feel if I could change the time, I would change my past where I meet you first and start dating you instead of that jerk.
You make my heart and body feel warm. If God can grant me a wish, I would ask him to make me stay with you forever as your real wife."

She finally told her heartfelt words with a flushed face which made me happy and joyous.

"Gray, I guess, I Lo......" Before she could finish her sentence, I stopped her by kissing her lips and confessed my love,

"Juvia, I love you. I love you very much.
From the start itself, I was interested in you and living with you made me realize who you are as a person.
I feel you are a genuine person, who loves everyone and places their happiness above your own happiness which I love, you are cute, beautiful and warm.
I Love You, Juvia Locksar. I'm totally head over heels for you. And I would be lucky if I could spend my entire life with you by my side."

She smiled brightly, "I Love You, Gray Fullbuster. I love you very much. Thank you for entering my pathetic life." She kissed my lips by hooking her arms around my neck.

After sometime of intimate contact, "So from now, our relationship status is we are lovers. Hope to see a difference in my girlfriend soon." I smirked at her by hooking my arms around her neck.

"Sure you will see a possessive Juvia who will not let any love-rival grab my Gray's attention. I will show you the perks of being a boyfriend of an innocent girl." She grinned at me while winking her left eye.

Then I gave her the present which I bought for her, "What's this Gray?"

"Just open you will love it. I'm sure." I smiled at her and waited to see her priceless expression.

As she opened the package, as expected she was awestruck and had her palm over her mouth.

Seeing the portrait, tears streaming down her eyes. She touched the photo with her fingers.

"Thank......Tha......nk....Thank you Gray. I couldn't believe my eyes, is it a dream? My parents, this exactly looks like them. How did you do this, Gray?"

She hugged the portrait and I hugged her.

"It's with the help of your brother, that I was able to get this portrait done.
Luckily, he still remembered them, so he gave the description of their features and the artist drew the sketch.
It was Gajeel's idea to include your childhood pic as well where you and your brothers are smiling happily. Hope you like it."

She was still sobbing on my chest, I patted her back. "It's okay princess. Now, I was able to fulfill one of the wishes of my lover. So get ready, to be spoiled by your Gray." I winked at her.

As if on cue, it began to rain. She looked depressed as she hated this rain very much.

"It's ruining our moment, Gray. My bad luck always brings this rain to spoil my important moments." She began to worry.

I kissed her forehead and placed my forehead on hers,
"Let's think of this rain as shower of blessings from your parents.
Let's say your parents are happy that their children are happy and have a safe and peaceful life ahead." I smiled and encouraged her.

"You are right, Gray. My parents must be happy and are showering their blessing. Thank you for everything,Gray. I'm lucky to have you in my life.
And I will not hold back in spoiling my lover. So be ready, Gray." She winked at me.
