Dans pov

I opened my eyes a crack, revealing the soft glint of sunlight peaking through the blinds. I stretched, my hands hitting the back board of the bed. As my eyes fully opened I saw the slumbering figure lying next to me, his face peaceful in his sleep. I nudged towards him, hoping he would respond in some way but he was out cold. I smiled and kissed him on the cheek before slipping out of bed. I tiptoed my way downstairs and got the table ready for breakfast. I shuffled quietly around the kitchen, mixing the pancake batter in the large bowl. As I poured it into the pan I felt a presence behind me. Two arms wrapped around my waist and I felt several kisses on the back of my exposed neck.

"Well hello sleepyhead. Nice to see you had a good sleep!" He chuckled quietly. He rested his head on my shoulder.

"Just so tired after last night. But I'm glad I some up now. And you're making my favourite!" He flipped me round so I was now facing towards him. I draped my arms over his shoulders and pressed my nose against his. He smirked at me.

"How was I ever lucky enough to get you?" I pressed my lips against his lightly.

"I don't know. But I know one thing, I love you Link Neal..." he smiled.

"I love you Dan Howell..."
