"I still can't believe she is here". I say watching Stella sleep in Zac's arms. We have already made video calls to all of my family and all of his, letting them know she has arrived safely.

"Me neither. I knew it would change everything, but this.. I was not prepared for this kind of feelings". He looks at me with tears in his eyes.

I send him a warm smile. "Oh I know, it's wonderful and very scary, right ?"

"Yeah, all the things I can do wrong keeps flashing before my eyes". He say, looking at her with the most loving smile. "But I will do anything to protect her".

This is worth all of it, the nousea, the throwing up and the pain. I would do it all again. "I know you will".

I grab my ipad and look at Zac. "So you think Maddie and Tom is awake now ?"

"Hmm we can try. It is almost midnight here now, which means it is close to 6 am in London. Tom is usually up early". Zac say as he softly rock Stella.

I make the call and it takes about a minute before a very blurry eyed Tom shows up on the screen. "Dahlia ? Is everything okay ?"

"Morning Tom. Everything is fine. Do you have Maddie there with you ?" I say, trying to contain my happiness.

"Just a minute". He puts down the phone and I can hear his voice. "Wake up cookie, come on, wake up".

Then I hear Maddie's voice, sounding very tired. "Fuck of Tom, I know you want a baby, but you can't seriously want another go right now".

There is a choked sound from Zac, and I try not to giggle as I hear Tom's voice. "Maddie darling, Dahlia wants to talk to you".

"Why didn't you say that Tom, I mean you have been all over me at every second since I dropped the pill, so logically..". Her voice dies.

Tom whispers, but honestly we can still hear him. "Baby, they can hear you".

"You dropped the pill". I squeak making Zac send me a rather deadly glare, afraid I will disturb Stella's sleep. "Are you two trying to get pregnant ?"

"Uhm only Maddie". Tom say scratching his neck with a grin. "And not so much trying to as, not trying not to".

"Tom is definitely trying to". Maddie say, pulling the phone from him, looking like she just rolled out of bed. "Morning, why are you cal.. shit she is here right ? You have given birth".

I hold up the iPad and Zac carries Stella into view. His voice so filled with love. "Let me introduce Stella Levi Pugh, she might be tiny but she is definitely fast".

"Ohh Tom look, she is so tiny and so beautiful". Maddie breathes out, almost shaking Tom. "And look at all that hair".

"If you stopped shaking me it would be easier for me to actually see her darling". Tom says chuckling. "But she is beautiful, congratulations, you did good".

"Thank you, I know". Zac say looking at the baby on his arm.

Tom chuckles. "I was talking to Your wife Your oaf".

"Hey it's not like she did everything, I mean I did kind of help making her and I delivered her". Zac say proudly. Then he looks at me. "But well yeah, she did do most and she was so amazing.. one hour from the water broke, it must be some kind of record".

Both Tom and Maddie breaks down in giggles and I look at Zac. "Darling.. it's not a competition you know".

"I know". He grins. "I am just saying that if it was you would be bringing home the gold".

"Oh wow an hour ? That is fast. She definitely wanted to come out and meet her parents". Maddie say with a smile. "How big is she ? She looks so tiny, but Zac makes everything look tiny".

I smile, she really does look like the tiniest doll in her father's arms. "She is only 48 cm and 2550 gr, so she is tiny, but she is perfectly healthy, so she will probably grow into it".

"Can't she just stay like this forever ? She is so precious and no problems with makeup, attitude and boys". Zac say with a sigh.

I shake my head. "It doesn't work that way Zac. She will grow up, she will be sweet and loving and she will be trouble.. and she will start liking boys.. or girls at some point".

"I am so getting a shotgun and bars on her windows". Zac grumbles.

"Oh I so hear you Zac, if I ever have a girl ..". Tom starts.

Maddie interrupts him. "So we are having a boy, definitely a boy".

I shake my head. "No shut guns and no barred windows.. but well I think these guns you already carry will scare any boy away Zac".

"Good, she is going to be my sweet little girl forever and never date". Zac say, gently brushing a curl from her forehead, making me and Maddie giggle.

"Good thing Dahlia's father is a bit more lenient huh Zac ?" Maddie say making me giggle even more.

Zac looks at the screen. "That Maddie, is very entirely different".

"Let me guess, because you are the one decent man in a sea of scumbag and assholes right ?" She say arching an eyebrow.

"Yes, exactly".

"Hey.. I feel a bit offended here". Tom buts in.

Zac sighs. "You are a good guy to Tom, of course. But I wouldn't let you date my daughter. Hell I wouldn't let me date my daughter.. wait that sounded wrong.. you know what I mean".

Stella starts whimpering and opens her eyes and Zac's voice instantly goes deeper and smoother in it's tone. "Hey there jelly bean, did you have a good nap ?"

Maddies eyes almost goes heart shaped as she makes an uh-ing sound. "Oh how cute is that ?"

"I know, he is so good with her". I say, looking at my wonderful husband and my little daughter. "I bet she hungry, so I better turn of the camera before pulling these out". I say pointing to my breasts.

Maddie snickers. "Yeah you better, someone here don't need a show, he couldn't handle that".

"Hey is this offend Tom day ?" Tom grumbles. "I do not see a baby being breastfed as anything sexual thank you".

Maddie rolls her eyes. "Congratulations, both of you, she is beautiful and I can't wait to meet her".

"Yeah congratulations". Tom say, back to smiling again.

"Thanks guys. And sorry for waking you up". I say. "I just couldn't wait".

"Someone else can't wait darling". Zac say, handing the softly crying baby to me. He waves at the screen. "See you guys".

Zac takes away the laptop and ends the call and I pull out my breast, winching a bit as she latch on to the nipple. Honestly it has started to hurt quite a bit, but the nurse says it is only for a couple of days, then the nipples are used to it.

"You know what ? This is the best sight in the world". Zac say softly sitting down behind me, so I can lean on him. "And no not Your boobs, even though they are quite glorious, but you caring and nurturing our little jelly bean, it doesn't get any better or more beautiful than that".

His words bring tears to my eyes and I snuggle into him. This is my personal heaven and I don't think I could be any happier.
