Interview-10: Prejudiced Deductions, by Artysues
Ever since Alex had developed superpowers, he wanted to find his arch nemesis. After all, how could he be the hero of New York without saving the citizens first?
He felt incomplete, a hero without a villain; a yang without a yin.
And the last thing he wanted to do was stalk his best friend's twin sister in the hopes of finding the most powerful villain known.
He had two missions regarding her. Make sure she isn't devising an evil plan, and finding out if she actually has retired. But things can never be that easy when you are up against a girl who can not only change her appearance, but also learn to use the powers others possess. Understandably, he nicknamed her Copycat.
Little did he know that there was more to this girl than what meets the eye.

1. {Selcouth questions} Were you always an avid reader or writer?
{Artysues answers} Yes, I have always been a voracious reader, but it is only when I became an adolescent that I expressed my emotions and thoughts by writing. I think the most beautiful part about writing is that even though others can read it, there is always a hidden meaning or feeling that words cannot describe. Prejudiced Deductions is a completely fictional book, and yet I have framed it according to the series of events going on in my life.
2. {Selcouth questions} How did you get the idea, for your book-Prejudiced Deductions?
{Artysues answers} To be honest, many things. I have always liked the idea of people with superhuman abilities. Ever since childhood, we have read stories about dragons, witches, princes and princesses but it is always the damsel that is distressed.
Why not the poor boy who is going through such pains to save his love? Why do they always fall in love at first sight? Writing lets me change the fabrics of one's imagination and the very idea that I can make someone feel and see what I want them to makes me tingle. Breaking clichés and yet writing one is a very complicated thing, which is why I wanted to give it a try. My story has just begun.
3. {Selcouth questions} Is the theme, of your book, related to you or your life?
{Artysues answers} Though those who know me might be surprised, the so-called antagonist in my story is actually based on me. Nobody really knows everything about me, no matter how close you are to me, and I intend to keep it that way. But that doesn't mean that Layla can have secrets too.
4. {Selcouth questions} Who inspires you to write?
{Artysues answers} My family was very supportive when they heard that I have been writing (that doesn't mean I told them about it). I haven't been inspired by a particular person, but the actions of them is what inspires my character-building.
5. {Selcouth questions} In the near future, do you have plans to take your writing, to a new level?
{Artysues answers} I actually do, but I don't think it will be anytime soon. Long story short, I have to study.
6. {Selcouth questions} How does it feel, to be the winner of The Spice Awards?
{Artysues answers} I was very ecstatic, because most of the writing contests here are based on votes, and I am quite new to Wattpad.
The Spice Awards had a nice and fair system of judging because people like me aren't discovered so easily. I always wanted to show my writings to people, even though I may not be an excellent writer.
One always wants their voice to be heard in this ocean of people, and I want my works to be acknowledged. Thanks to TSA, I am one step closer to making my dreams a reality.
