Marinette's POV

The entire class agreed and we all went and changed. Me and Alya changed together and I wore a hoodie because I am body conscious.

Cover up

We went to the pool and everyone was already trying to find the pool. I giggled and led the way.

M: You guys are going in the wrong direction. This way.

When we got to the pool they were awe struck again. Well except Lila. Does that girl have a death wish or something? If she does Alya will be happy to fulfill it.

Pool

Class: Awesome!!!

They jumped in and they all started playing. Me, on the other hand pulled up a chair and started to read a book.

Alix: Come in the pool, Mari.

M: No, I am good.

Alix: Please

M: I am fine.

Lila: She is probably trying to hide the fact she is fat and chubby and that I look better than her. She probably has to wear a corset to fit in all her clothes.

AL: She is not fat! She looks better than you any day of the year. What you are wearing, I would hardly call a bikini. You almost passed the line between bikini and that is not a bikini.

I smiled at Alya then went back to reading a book. I didn't notice Adrien come out of the pool. He picked up and walked toward the pool.

M: Adrien, put me down now. I swear-

He threw me in the pool I resurfaced and walked out of the pool. My cover up was wet so I had to take it off. Everybody looked at me and my abs and toned body. 

Alix: I know Alya was toned and stuff but, MARI, you are....just wow. 

A: I know right, my girlfriend is hot. 

I walked to the 30 foot diving board and jumped off. I did a full 360 and then landed in the pool. My classmates looked like they had seen an alien or something. To avoid questions, went into the water and swam into the grotto. From the grotto, I played with tne water. While I was playing, I saw Chloe and Nathaniel. Chloe had a blush on her face and kissed Nath's cheek. 

I smirked as I got an idea. I went under water and swam toward them. I went up behind Chloe and grabbed her shoulders. She jumped and turned around. She glared at me and then laughed as well. I looked at her and Nath and decided to embarrass them. 

M: Chloe, what did that kiss on the cheek mean? 

C: You saw that?

M: Yup. Now explain. 

C: Ummm...

N: We are sort of a thing. 

M: What?! When did this happen?

C: On the plane ride. He kinda said he liked me and I did not know how I felt so, I thought it out first, and I guess I had feelings for him, buried under. 

M: What about Adrien?

C: I thought about him and you. I decided I wanted him to be happy. Besides, he is my childhood friend and  more like a brother to him. So, on that page, can we be friends? I am sorry for everything I have done to you. 

M: Of course we can be friends. 

She held her hand out. I slapped it away and pulled her into a bear hug. She was shocked but, hugged back. 

M: You two, need to announce that my ship has sailed. Got it?

C: Sure. Right Nath?

N: Yeah. 

I swam to Adrien and told him the news. 

M: Guess what?

A: What?

M: Chloe and Nath are dating. 

A: Really?!?!

M: Yup. Chloe said she had buried feelings for him and that she thought about us and wanted you to be happy besides, you are her childhood friend and she wants you to be happy. 

A: I need to hear this from her mouth. 

We swam over and Chloe told Adrien what she told me and he congratulated them and we talked. Adrien and Nath were absorbed in a convo so, it was basically me and Chloe talking. 

C: Where are Alya and Nino?

M: While I was hiding in the grotto, they went in and went to a corner and kissed and talked with each other. They are still there. 

C: Okay. 

She laughed and then stopped and stared at me for a second. I squirmed a little, not liking other people staring at me. 

C: Mari, where did you get those scars on your shoulder? As, well as on your wrists. And don't tell me you were being clumsy. Those are to clean to be accidental. 

I went wide eyed and looked everywhere but her eyes. I sighed and decided to tell her the truth. 

M: Rey, was an abusive boyfriend. The scars on my shoulders are from him and the ones on my wrist are from me, I went to self harm to ease the pain that he caused me. 

I looked at Chloe and she looked at me with concern. 

C: Well, I will be with Alya next time Rey comes around. I will knock some sense into him. 

M: Alright. Just promise you won't tell anyone. 

C: Promise. 

I smiled and tapped Adrien on the shoulder. 

M: We have been swimming long enough. Let's end this party. 

I got out the pool and yelled that the pool party was over. I put on my cover up and went to look for Adrien. I found Lila next to him twirling her hair and tracing a finger his shoulder. He looked uncomfortable. In the corner of my eye, I saw Chloe kiss Nath and drag him to the living room with the rest of the class. I looked back at Adrien to find him kissing Lila. 

I got tears in my eyes and put on my cover up and just walked to my room. Both of my boyfriends have cheated on me. What am I doing wrong that they do this? I felt hot tears on my face and Alya and Chloe saw. They followed me to my room and I flopped on my bed cried. Alya was confused at why Chloe was here but, left it alone. I told them what happened and they were shocked. 

M: H-h-he k-kis-kissed h-he-her. A-adrien k-kissed L-li-lila. 

AL: When I see that boy, I will kick him to Mars and back, then chop off that little hot dog of his.

C: No, Adrien would not do that. He loves Mari to much. It was probably Lila who forced him into the kiss. 

Then, there was a knock on the door. I opened it to find............

Adrien at the door way. 

A: Can I come in?

I was silent and said.
