Marinette's POV

It was the day of The Grand Ball. In a week it would be my 21st Birthday and then the week after is my Coronation to become Empress. Me and Adrien have been dating for 2 months now. Me and Alya are going for dress fitting and then we will choose our hair styles and make up. 

I got dressed and got Alya. 

I woke up Alya and got her to get dressed after I promised donuts and shopping. She sprinted out of bed and to her closet. 

She got dressed and we went outside and to my car. As we got closer we saw Lila leaning on it and the class crowding around her. 

Lila: Yup! That's right losers this is my car. 

Adrien and Nino saw us and came to us. 

A: Why does she do this?

M: Does it matter? She gets exposed either way. 

I unlocked my car and opened the door and got in. Alya got in on the passenger side. 

Lila: Why are you stealing my car?

M: It's not your car. Look at the license plate. 

My license plate had my name on it.

I started the engine and drove us to an ice cream parlor. Alya ordered chocolate chip with strawberries and I had triple chocolate with Oreo's. We ate the ice cream as we drove. We got to the mall and I grabbed my 6 credit cards from my mom and got out of the car. 

We went inside and searched for dresses and shoes. I found a nice red dress and helped Alya find a dress. We were also allowed to have our graduation at the palace too. I could not wait. We chose our graduation dresses and and coronation dresses and party dresses AND ball dresses. We found our heels and purchased all of the items. 

The total was $759.24 but, me being the princess, I was only charged $559.24, I got a $200 discount.  We were heading back to the car and putting our dresses and shoes in the back sea when I felt hands on my waist. Not realizing who it was, I turned around and sent them flying through the air. Upon seeing it was Adrien, I stopped him and flew him over and put him back on the ground. 

M: Why did you do that and how did you find us?

A: I put a tracker on your car.

M: Ok. Do you need a ride to the palace, now?

A: That would be awesome. 

I finished putting our stuff in the car. I let Alya drive and I sat in the passenger seat while Adrien sits in the back. 

I played on my phone until I got a message from Chloe. 

Chloe: Hey. I need some help picking out a dress. Can you help me?

Mari: Of course. What color?

Chloe: Yellow, of course. 

Mari: Alright. I have the PERFECT thing. 

Chloe: Thanks Mari. You are amazing. 

Mari: No prob. See you in a bit. 

Chloe: KK.

I had a yellow dress she could wear. It was perfect. I played on my phone until we were at the palace. I grabbed my dresses and shoes and scurried to my room. I ran to her room and opened the door to her on Nathaniel's lap kissing him. 

M: *cough* Ahem. 

Chloe jumped off Nath flustered and blushing. I started fangirling and jumping around. Nath scratched the back of his head. I pulled Chloe in front of him and grabbed his hands and put them on her waist. I snapped a photo and sent it to both of them. They pulled away and we told Nath we had to chose a dress so he had to get out. He sulked out of the the room and I chose a dress that I was sure would make Nathaniel drop dead. 

It was 7:00 and the ball was at 8:00 so I scurried to my room and put on my dress and my heels. Alya came in and did my make up and I did hers.

We went downstairs. Everybody looked good. Even Lila was not wearing something inappropriate.

We went down stairs to wear the boys were and they looked good. I walked over to Adrien and closed his mouth. I looked at the clock. 7:55. I grabbed his arm and motioned to everyone. They looked at me and I pointed to the clock. They went to their dates and I led them to the ballroom. We went inside and some went to the corners, the food tables, and the dance floor. Me and Adrien wandered around together until I bumped into a friend. 

M: Kagami! How are you?

K: I am good. Who is this?

M: Adrien Agreste, the Prince of England. 

K: Cool. Hi I'm Kagami Princess of Japan. Sadly, my brother is Rey. That as-butthole. he cheated on Mari. It took every ounce of self control not to project him into space and make sure he never comes back. 

A: *laughs* I feel bad for you. 

K: Yeah. I feel bad for me too. OH! Marebear guess what?

M: What?

K: Me and Luka are dating!

M: What?! How long?

K: 3 years. 

M: 3 YEARS AND YOU DIDN'T TELL ME!!!!!!!!!!

K: heheh...yes. 

M: I am designing your wedding dress. I have the perfect idea. You can-

K: Don't get ahead of yourself. 

M: Alright. Can I have your number.

K: Sure. It is 365-203-8384. 

M: Okay. Thank you. It was nice seeing you. 

I looked at the dj and it was Nino! I tapped Adrien and pointed to Nino. We walked over and he was chatting with my mom and dad. 

F: -then I said it was the yeast I could do!

N: DUDE! You are amazing. 

M: Hey Nino. 

N: Hey Mari! Hey dude!

A: Hey Nino!

M: Alya and I want to dance to a song she made. Can you play it?

N: Course!

M: Great. Here is my phone, the song is right here. 

I got Alya and we went to the dance floor.

We had fun and everyone clapped when we were done. We all made a plan to reveal ourselves on my coronation. I was thirsty so, I went to the drink stand and got some fruit punch. I walked to a private part of the ballroom. As I was drinking, someone grabbed my hands and put them behind my back and put a hand on my mouth. They tied my hands and put a cloth on my mouth. The put me on their shoulder and carried me to the garden. I untied the rope. I turned around to see Lila and Rey. 

Lila: Nice to see, you. 

Before I could do anything, she slapped me. 

Lila: You took my Adrikinns. You hurt me and now I will hurt you. You are nothing. You are pathetic and weak. You have your friends fight all our battles. You are a nothing. Nobody likes you. You should just jump off and bridge and die. People would celebrate, have a big party. Your parents would even make a cake. You were a mistake. People hang around you out of pity. So please, just die. You even think you don't have a one-sided relationship. Adrien said he loves me and that he only uses you so, please ask yourself are you wanted. 

It was cold outside and I did not have my coat. I was shivering and this did not help. 

Lila kicked my stomach making me fall to me knees. I screamed in pain only for her to punch my cheek. I fell on my side and whimpered. She grabbed my hair and pulled me upright. She moved out of the way and Rey came foward. 

Rey: You broke up with me and knocked me out. You also, punched me. You made me seem weak. I will now hurt you. 

He kicked my shins and I fell to the ground. He kicked my stomach and kicked until I fell on the ground completely. I screamed every now and then because of the pain. He kicked my ribs and I started coughing. He stopped, pulled me up by my hair and threw me like some rag doll. I landed and they cackled and walked back to the ballroom. 

It started snowing and I was cold and beaten. My eyelids got heavy. I refused to close them. I heard someone call my name. My vision got blurry and I saw Adrien, Alya and Nino turn the corner and then everything went black.
