It felt like forever that I was in this ear-deafening torture house. The ground shakes along with the loud the music leaving every part of my body aching and forced myself not to have a temper tantrum/mental breakdown in the middle of a party.

Having enough I tried switching my phone on but it died. I got up and decided I was going home. This party was a waste of my time and energy. When I got down the stairs I looked around to see if I can find Natalie, Ali or Tokyo but all I saw was Alexis sprawled all over Cameron and Teeshay making out with a girl in the corner of the room. Blocking the disturbing images from my head I push through the thick crowds of dancing people.

I walked out of the house fresh air finally filling my lungs and looked around for a nice enough looking person so I could borrow their phone to call Audray to pick me up. However, all I saw was David walking towards me. This time he was alone and looked like he had a couple of drinks.

"Girl who is in my English and Maths class!" He yells as waddles to me. I groaned. Here we go again.

"You!" He pointed his finger at my face, full of rage. "You embarrassed me! How dare you kick my balls!"

I started to walk on but he follows closely behind. I spun around waving my arms around. "What David? What the hell do you want?"

"I want you to pay! That's what I want!" He spits salvia escaping from his mouth and onto my face. Can this night get any worse?! "I can't even feel my balls. It's so numb!" He hissed.

"Then don't touch me. Simple." I shrugged. Maybe I didn't kick him too hard. 

Next time make his lower body paralyzed. My self conscious hissed.

"You too mouthy for my liking. I don't like mouthy girls." He lowered his voice approaching me. "You want to know what I do to mouthy girls?"

"Nope." As I was about to just speed walk away from him he grabbed me by the waist and in one swift action, I feel my feet being lifted from the ground and onto his shoulders. I screamed and kicked my legs as much as possible but no one was paying attention to me. They looked at us and dismissed it as if we were were play fighting. Incredibly annoyed and disturbed, I continued to struggle in his grasp. "Stop it, David, you're drunk! Let me down!"

I struggled to get free but his grip was too firm and he seemed to be walking across to the other side of the front yard to where all the cars where parked. Is he going to kidnap me!? I screamed louder but it seems to have no effect. "Help! Help!" I plead.

"Let go of her." I heard a low but firm voice from behind me. David drops me onto the floor. When my feet reach the floor, I looked up to see a very angry looking Teeshay. He looks straight at David.

"Fuck off Rivers." David slurred. I was so relieved to see Teeshay and he reached out to grab my hand and pull me behind him. My hand tingled at the feeling of our fingers intertwined. "I said fuck off."

"Don't ever touch her you hear me," Teeshay growled as anger growing on his face. But at the same time, he managed to stay calm. How does he do it?

"Who the hell do you think you are. Go back to your crappy school. You ain't shit!" David launched himself towards Teeshay who doesn't look at all intimated or moved back. Instead, I watch his jaw clench.

"If I ever catch you disrespecting her like that I'll show you who I really am." He repeats this time his tone much harsher. I looked at Teeshay in amazement. No one wanted to help me but he and he is even willing to fight David.

"What's going on here?" Cameron approaches us with Alexis' hand tightly tucked around his arm.

"Tell your friend to respect himself and Melody. Or you will have to tell him as you're experienced how it feels to have my fist against your jaw." Teeshay shoots him a dirty look. He tightened his grasp on my hand, still holding me behind him.

"Why are you even at my party. Get out!" Cameron shouts stepping forward.

"I get your jealous of me but I'm just trynna make this dead party live. I seem to be quiet popular with your guests." He shrugged unbothered.

"I don't know what the hell gave you the courage to show up at my party but you better leave now or you'll regret it." Cameron moves his two friends out of the way and makes his way to Teeshay. He stops just in front of his face. Teeshay lets go of my hand and I step back.

"And what will you do Diaz? Huh?" Teeshay shouts. They both glare at each other, not one daring to move back. What on earth is their deal?

As Cameron was about to step even closer, Alexis pulled him back. "He is not worth our time babe." Looks who is a happy couple again.

"Teeshay." I tugged his jacket. "Let's go." But the boy didn't move. Cameron gives him another look up and down and then stalks off, David doing the same.

"Dickheads," Teeshay mutters under his breath. We watch them disappear in the house and he turns to me his face softening. "Hey, are you ok?"

"Yes, I'm fine." He grabs my other wrist. "I said I'm fine. Thanks for helping me out." He drops my hand.

"Fuck." He runs a hand over his hair in frustration. "Why are you wandering around this party by yourself? Where are your friends?"

"I don't know, I lost them," I say a little annoyed at him for his sudden harsh tone. "Didn't know you saw me out here, you looked really interested in swallowing that chick's face off." I immediately regretted the words the moment it came out of my mouth.

"And your problem is?" He rolls his eyes. I scoff at his change of mood, but too exhausted to argue I let it go.

 "Look can I borrow your phone my one died and I want to call Audray to pick me up." 

Teeshay sighs, his big broad shoulders slump a bit as he fetches in his back pocket and pulls out his phone. I nod thank you and I quickly called Audray to pick me up. After convincing an angry-sounding Audray he tells me he will pick me up in 10.

"Thanks." I wrapped my arms around my half-naked body. Well, tonight was a very shitty night.

"Here," Teeshay says in the silence. He takes off his jacket and puts it around me. I looked up at him. Our eyes locked for a few seconds. I don't know why we were staring at each other. But we just stood there. My stomach felt weird and I tried my hardest to ignore it. He wraps the jacket around me, not leaving eye contact. His brown eyes, shone in the night light as it trails down from my eyes to my lips. I gulp feeling suddenly self-conscious. I felt his cold hand against my skin and I harshly sucked in the air, as my pulse quickened. He pulls a strand of hair out of my face, still keeping his gaze on me before stroking my cheek softly. I automatically find myself leaning into his cupped hand, feeling calm and safe the first time this night. His other arm sneaks around my hips, pulling me towards his hard chest and leans down to look at my face. "Sorry for that, I know you had a shitty night." He gives me a cute lopsided grin which made my chest squeeze even more. I was so close to him, I even saw how even more perfect his face was.

"Mel!" Natalie cries running towards me. I broke eye contact with Teeshay and he drops both hands off me, clearing his throat. She rushes in between us and pulled my tired body into a hug before holding me arms length. Still feeling a little flustered I pulled on a fake smile.

"Where the hell were you! We have been looking for you everywhere!" She says out of breath.

"Well, clearly not hard enough!" I grumble.

"I swear you disappeared. On minute you were with Cameron and then you vanished."

"Oh, I'm sorry I should've told you guys." I look down at my feet.

"Thank you so much Teeshay for babysitting her. I hope she wasn't too much trouble." Natalie gives him a genuine smile.

"Not at all. A little feisty here and there." I shoved him. He grinned at me, flashing his beautiful white teeth.

Mel, what is up with you tonight?

"About I was feisty." I rolled my eyes as he pretended to be hurt. Yep, we are back to normal again.

"Well let's go back inside its freezing out here, plus Tokyo is having a twerking competition with Britney! It's hilarious!" I shook my head.

"No, I'm fine. I called Audray to pick me up."

"Why are you leaving so early?" She pouted.

"When I went into the kitchen David started touching me and when I felt uncomfortable and told him to stop he didn't and I kicked him in the balls. Then he came after me and tried carrying me to his car. Such a weirdo." I shivered at the memory of him lifting me over his shoulders.

"I swear I will kill him!" Natalie yells, looking around the yard like a madwoman.

"But Teeshay dealt with him." I held onto her, so she doesn't go sprinting in and get arrested for murder.

Teeshay's brown eyes clouded with an unreadable emotion and shrugged looking in the opposite direction. "Had to do what needed to be done."

There was a beep and I spotted my bother's car parked. "That's my ride. Bye, see you on Monday. Tells the others I've gone home" I hugged her one last time.

"Don't worry I will. I'm sorry that tonight turned out to be a bad night." I shrugged. Teeshay and I walk to Audray.

"Wassup Spooky and Brain." I fist bump Audray's two best friends and get in the car.

"Aye! Lil sis. Aye! My guy T." My brother leans over and they swiftly touch fists.

"Teeshay have you been secretly getting to know all my siblings?" I was suprised how much they liked him. I just find him plain annoying.

"This guy right here is funny." Spooky points at him laughing a cigarette between his two fingers.

"Of course. I'm a walking free entertainment." Teeshay smiles proudly.

"Since when do you go to parties Mel?" Brainy looks back at me suspiciously. 

"Let me guess Kiara made you wear that?" Audray commented.

"Yes she is so annoying," I complain.

"No wonder, you look like a public bin."

"Shut up!" I really reach out to hit him but he dodges. I stick up my middle finger at him as everyone laughs at my failed attempt to hurt Audray.

"But some advice baby doll, wear something else next time you want to come to a party and decide wonder by yourself." I pull him a warning look, as Audray sits up in the passenger seat abruptly pulling his cigarette away from his mouth. Teeshay ignores me and continues. "Some dickhead was being a prick. Touching her up and everything."

"Really?" Audray faces darkened and he looks at me. "What happened?" He bellowed.

"It's fine. We sorted it out." I really didn't want to make a scene. Like in second grade when a boy called Tom used to pick on me and Natalie went to go tell Audray and he sent the kid to the hospital.

"No, it's not fine." Teeshay cuts me off, making me roll my eyes.

"What do you say guys want to have some fun?" Brainy rubs both of his hands together as the guys all get out of the car and walk over to the front door. I hurriedly get out of the car and rush behind. I mouth at Teeshay to shut up but he clearly wasn't getting the hint.

"Man I appreciate you telling me this since this dumbass wasn't gonna. Brainy. Spooky. Let's get this nigga." They make their way into the party shoving through the crowds. I run after them.

"Come on. I'm tired let's just go home I think David got the message. Teeshay already had an argument with them." I shout over the loud music.

But it was too late. Audray is going to kill David. Well not kill but definitely fight him and the cops might show up. Some people think having a protective brother is nice but actually it's really annoying.

Audray, Spooky, Brainy, and Teeshay walk in, me walking behind and they walk straight to Cameron and David. Everyone at school knows Audray. He used to play for the school's football team. And he was the captain so everyone was suprised to see him here.

"Which one of you is David!?" Spooky yells as we made it to the kitchen. David who was still downing a whole beer down looks up and Brainy grabs him by his shirt and pushes him against the wall. Audray walks slowly over to David who looked like he was about to shit his pants.

"This is exactly why I didn't want him to know." I hissed at Teeshay who was paying no attention to me what so ever and instead ready to fight. I'm just praying that my brother forgot his gun at home.

"So you the one who tried to touch up my lil sister huh?" Audray spits in his face. He was straight up in his face, making David squirm and shrink against the wall. People were starting to gather around to see. Great just what I wanted. Not.

"I wasn't gonna do anything. I was just playing around." David whispers.

"Bullshit." Audray spits in his face. David's eyes fill up of terror.

"Hey what's going on. You brought more uninvited guests with you Rivers?" Cameron snarled.

Audray looked at Cameron. Spooky walks up to him and Cameron steps back. "You his friend?"

Cameron looked confused at stared at me. The look in his eyes made me want to die of embarrassment. "Answer the damn question blondie."

"Yes. My friend meant no harm." He says quickly.

"Well tell your friend that if he ever touched my sister like that again in his God damn life I'll shoot him down." Audray hisses in David's face before Brainy letting him drop to the floor. "You're lucky I left my gun at home."

"Oh, so whats happened? Are you going to acting like a pussy when before you had all balls?" Teeshay snarled at Cameron.

"You little boys ain't shit," Brainy says viciously looking down at David.

"Ok, can we go now," I say quietly tugging on Audray's arm. Audray gave them a challenging look one more time and walked back out. Cameron looked like he was fuming. People started laughing at David and I was a little satisfied that David got put in his place.

We walk back to the car. I say in annoyance. "Can we go home now?"

"Yes. But Mel If that boy causes you any more trouble you better tell me." Teeshay smiles satisfied that he just saw Cameron and David face as if they wanted to pee on themselves. I nod.

"Thanks, T for looking out for my sis. Want a ride home?"

"No it's fine I drove here anyways."

I grumble goodbye and we drive off away from the hell house. "You are not going to any more parties." Audray orders.

"Oh don't you worry. I won't be going to any more parties any time soon."
