Chapter 5
The week has gone tirelessly slow the first week of school always seems to be longer. As for Teeshay people are talking with him more, despite how much Cameron hates him. He was always annoying me in Biology and forced me to show him where his classes were even though I knew he knew his way.
"You are coming to the party," Natalie says as she parks in my driveway. I turn around in the car seat to face her completely and pout.
"Oh but I'm really tired and I need to sleep." I stretch my arms and fake a yawn.
"You sleep every moment you get. Life is not about sleeping. Have some excitement for once." She argues.
"I have very exciting dreams thank you very much."
"I'm picking you up with Tokyo and Ali at seven pm." She decides. I looked at her with my puppy dog eyes but recognizing Natalie's facial expression she already made up her mind.
"But bad stuff always happens at parties." Taking my bag I get out of the car.
It is true though. Alcohol, drugs, dirty dancing. I shivered from even thinking about it. Also, I haven't been to a party for a year now.
"Don't you worry your silly little head. If you're with us you will be fine." She reassures. I nodded at her unconvinced.
"Sure see you at 7." I wave.
"Hey, Mel I mean it! We will drag you out of your room if we need to. We are going to party tonight!" She yells as she drives off. Ha! She thinks I'm going to a party. No thanks. I'd rather stay at home and not socialize with other human beings.
I will simply not open the door. I laugh to myself about my genius plan and walk into the living room.
"Hey, fungus breath make sure at seven you do not open the door, ok?" I stand looking down at Levi. He looks up and sticks his tongue out at me.
"Sure since you called me fungus breath I will leave the door open even at seven." I grab him by the leg and start tickling him on his stomach causing him to laugh and scream hysterically.
Out of nowhere Liam comes running and jumps on my back.
"Ahh!" I scream. I grab him by his arms and flip him over so he lands on Levi. Standing up, I put my foot on both of them and smiled in triumph.
"So what will you be doing?" I repeat myself.
"Not opening the door at seven." Levi and Liam say in defeat. I remove my foot and Liam slides off so they can both get up and Levi clutching his chest.
"Liam, we are victims to hate crime." Liam nods and then collapses onto the floor his body stretched out like a dead person's body.
I roll my eyes at the two drama queens and take my bag. I walk upstairs and walk into Mimi's room.
"Hiya!" I flop onto her bed.
"Hey, how was school, boring right." She looks up from braiding Sap's hair.
"Hell sucks. It's not fun" I turn onto my back and dangle my legs in the air.
"Make sure you braid army barbie's hair Mimi she going to a very special party." Sap calls.
"Don't worry I haven't forgotten about army barbie," Mimi calls, picking up her phone.
"Which party is army barbie going Sap?" I ask her.
"A pool party!" I pick up army barbie and look at my poor barbie doll that I gave Sap. Her beautiful hair was chopped off and there was permanent marker all over her face. I honestly don't know how Mimi is gonna braid her hair.
"Talking about parties, Mimi my friends want me to go to Cameron Diaz's party tonight." I groan staring at the wall.
"Well don't be like Audray and Kiara who come home super late. And don't drink too much."
"So you're telling me to go?"
"Well yeah, Mel you stay trapped in your room all the time when you come home. You need to go out to have fun."
"But my idea of fun is being in my room, in my bed away from society." I then realized how lazy I was. Jeez, I need to change and my new year resolution was to go out more.
"Yeah whatever weirdo." I stuck my middle finger at her and trudge back to my black hole of a room. Throwing my stuff I sighed and started looking in my closet for something suitable to wear.
After spending what felt like hours of searching I pulled out some jeans and a top. There simple. nice. practical. A stone went flying from outside my window and hit my arm. I turned around finding Teeshay leaning on his window sill looking at me from his room.
"What. And ouch." I rub my arm making my way to the window through the tornado of clothes I created.
"Woah baby doll what happened in there?"
"Oh, I'm just looking for an outfit to wear for the party."
"You're going to the party?"
"Yes. Why do you look so surprised?"
"Because you look like that boring type."
"Excuse you." I gasp. "For your information, not every teenager wants to be spending their Friday evening in a stuffy house with sweaty people drinking their brains out!"
"And not every teenager should be spending 99% of their time locked away in a room with no social life."
"Take that back." I point my finger at him.
"Climb right over and make me." He approaches the window more giving me a challenging look.
"Actually I have a better idea." I went out of the room and found Sap just about to walk down the stairs.
"Hey, Sap wanna play a game?"
"Yes, I love playing games!"
"Ok well, I have a mission for army barbie and her soldiers. Bring the slingshot." I grin at her mischievously.
I return back and face Sap. She sets her plastic soldiers on the window sill. "Ready, aim, fire!" I order.
Teeshay looks at us confused. Until it hit him. "Ouch what the hell!"
Sap using her slingshot threw all her plastic soldiers and since she loves throwing she is very experienced and did not miss Teeshay's face one bit. He moved away from the window and ducked down. He returned with a pillow to protect his face and some. Scrunched up paper balls and stared throwing them.
It then turned to an epic paper ball fight and soon it was only between Sap and Teeshay since my aims are terrible.
"Ha, I won!" Sap jumps up and down sticking her tongue out.
"Whatever," Teeshay says out of breath crossing his arms. "Good game though. Respect."
Sap smiled brightly at him and bowed. "Why thank you you weren't too shabby yourself."
"That sloth of a sister you have though." He drags a hand across his throat, "terrible thrower."
"I know right. She is so useless honesty." I stand there my mouth open at my own sister insulting me
"That's what I said!" They both laugh like a pair of witches.
"Thanks a lot, guys." I sulked. "Anyways Sap for betraying me you can get out now."
"Bye Teeshay. Can I call you T?"
"Of course. If I can all you Sap."
"I'm sorry for stopping your bonding time but I need to get changed so goodbye."
"Yeah, that's fine bye T." She turns to me. "Bye loser."
"You too Teeshay."
"Please call me daddy."
"Ew no." I cringe.
"T baby." He grins.
"Hell Nah."
"Your royal funniness."
"Bye Teeshay." I close the door and draw the curtains together. Such a weirdo.
