Chapter 4
Hey, your girl's back with another chapter! First week back to school has been torture to me, so coming back home to write is literally the best thing!
Ok, now enough I'll let y'all enjoy!

Oh my gosh, why is English so long? I tapped my pen on my book, staring tirelessly at the clock to hit 12. On the board was my favorite bible verse written on it:
Lunch 12:00
I looked outside the window. I couldn't stop thinking about my nightmare last night. I haven't received those dreams for a whole year now. I shuddered at the memories of waking up in the middle of the night every day last year, sweating, crying, swallowing pills after pills. I was in a really dark place last year and I have no intention of going back there. All because of that stupid night...
"Melody! Melody!" Miss Spirk squawks at me, hands on hips. I look up at her, snapping away from my thoughts.
"Yes," I answer in a bored voice.
"What did I just say." I hate it when teachers put their attention onto you. Leave me be. I'm already suffering by being in your class. I just need a teacher discount.
"I have absolutely no idea miss."
She frowned at me. "Then pay attention you need to know this for your next exam." She returns talking gibberish something about Shakespeare. We just come back why am I hearing the word exam? Finally putting me out of my misery the bell ran and I somehow I felt alive again and I had the strength to zoom out of the classroom.
Walking into the lunch hall I buy myself lunch and about to go to our usual table I sense someone standing behind me. "Urg you are still at this school?" A thick Spanish accent says from behind me. I turn around slowly at a glaring Alexis.
"Hello to you too Alexis," I say warily.
"Oh no, hon I'm just telling you to get out my way, not to say hello." She rolls her eyes clutching her expensive new handbag. This girl acts like every day is a fashion show.
"Then walk around," I say through my gritted teeth.
Stay calm and collective Mel. My self conscious warns me.
"No, because I can't get around you because your fat self is in the way." I felt like punching her in the face. She always had something to say to me, I don't remember when I ever told her that I cared about her opinion.
"Just because I have more shape does not mean you have to hate."
"Shut up we all know that is not true."
"You'd be in good shape too if you ran as much as your mouth." I picked up my tray.
As I was about to leave she put an arm in front of me to stop me from walking. "I saw you make doggy eyes with my Cam Cam."
I turned around full of rage pushing her arm down. "Listen I can talk to anyone I like whether you like it or not I couldn't care less so don't come up in my face with your petty excuses to talk with me."
Her face scrunched up into a ball and she waved her long fake nails in my face. "You know what was the best part of summer Mel?"
"Only people I am close to can call me Mel."
"The best part Mel," She continues and ignores me, "Is the fact that I don't have to see your cheap ass every day. So stay away from my Cam cam."
"The fact that you are this possessive over him and you guys are not even together anymore is really sad."
"You stay out of our business." She snaps.
"Then stay outta my face." I snap back. We glare at each other for a few more seconds then Tokyo and Natalie came to the rescue.
"Oh no the wicked witch of the west has returned," Tokyo says appearing from behind me.
"Is she causing you trouble again Mel. Don't blame her it is all she is good at." Natalie says appearing on my other side. I nod arms crossed.
"What you think I'm scared because you called your stupid minions to rescue your sorry ass?" Alexis snarls, eyeing Tokyo and Natalie.
"At least I don't have brainless flying monkeys." We call Alexis the wicked witch of the west.
Her two brainless flying monkeys appear just on time, Holly Mindy and Gabby Domino. She gives us one more screw and struts off.
"Look at her, she had the cheek to tell me that I was in her way in the lunch line and she didn't even buy anything," I grumbled.
"Don't mind her, apparently she is on a diet according to her Instagram," Natalie says giving Alexis one last dirty look.
"Let her become as thin as a stick all I care. Come let's go eat." Tokyo links his arm with mine, leading me to our usual table.
"Thanks, guys for coming to help me get out of that annoying situation."
"Of course, plus you looked like you was going to snap and knowing your anger we don't want Alexis falling into a coma." Natalie laughs and we join Mary Sol and Ali at the table.
"Is anyone sitting here?" I sit anyways not waiting for Mary Sol to answer.
"Yes someone is sitting here which is why the chair is empty."
"Was there any need for that?" I pull a face at her.
"Well, when someone asks me a stupid question it is a legal obligation to give them a sarcastic answer." She states.
"Why are you so sarcastic like everything you say centers on sarcasm."
"I'm not sarcastic. I'm just intelligent beyond your understanding." She smiles at me sweetly.
Groaning at her I put my head on the table. This will be my mood for the rest of the year. The first day was only fine because I bought new clothes and I wanted to show off. Not that anyone noticed at all.
"Aw, what's wrong Mel?" Ali taps my head.
"Mmmm." I groan back.
"Woah what's up with her?" Mary sol does not get the struggle because she actually likes school.
"You wanna know what's up? I will tell you what's up! Life! It's just boring and I'm just failing in every subject and we just started school and I hate everyone in my classes and my teacher and my self! But it's ok because I'm totally fine. I'm hurting inside but no one gives two fucks so I am fine!" I rant then open my Cheetos crisp packet so I could eat my feelings out.
"Ok then." Mary Sol says rolling her eyes laughing. "You are so dramatic."
Just as I tried to stuff ten Cheetos in my big ass mouth, Teeshay enters the lunch hall with Bruce. People as a usual stop to stare and Cameron had an annoying facing expression plastered on his face.
"Bruce just told me that Teeshay went to go sign up for the school's football team and got accepted straight away. Cameron does not seems too happy about it" Natalie tells us.
"What how is there not a sups intense audition you have to go through?" Tokyo asks.
Natalie shrugs. Teeshay and Bruce take their lunch and surprisingly head to our table. Bruce has never once sat at our table for lunch he was always with Cameron and as for Teeshay, I was confused to why he wanted to sit with us.
"What's up guys," Teeshay says as he sits comfortably on the table.
"Why are you guys sitting here?" Ali asks looking at all the empty tables.
"Well, I want to get to know baby doll's friends."
"Baby who?" Tokyo laughs.
Teeshay smiles at me. He got his teeth definitely from his mom. I frowned at him.
"Are you seriously gonna embarrass me and sit on my table, boy move."
He didn't budge.
"Of course I am. And being the prince I am I expect a better welcome than this." Teeshay says, crossing his arms.
"I know you are unique. Just like everyone else. Remember that." He glares at me.
"And I," Bruce says as he throws Natalie bag on the floor and slides next to her. "Am no longer welcome on Cameron's table it seems like."
We all look back at Cameron table who seemed to have been staring at us.
"Did you really have to do that to my bag." Natalie moans as she reached for her bag and hit Bruce's head. He catches her hand and kisses it softly.
"Sorry, my royal highness I thought it was trash lying around."
Natalie whips her hand away and snarls at him. "You really love annoying me don't you."
"Very much." He leans over to take a handful of Mary sol's fries.
"Go away no one likes you, Teeshay can stay but you no." Mary Sol growls.
"It's ok if you don't like me, not many people have great taste." Bruce sticks his tongue out at her. Mary Sol rolls her eyes snarling.
"So apparently you got into the football team," Ali asks. I look at Teeshay. He looks up at us and nods.
"Is that not gonna be awkward to see your old team playing against you," I ask.
"Yeah, a lot awkward but can't do much about that." He shrugs.
"Congrats though." Mary Sol says.
"Thanks, MS."
"Hey, why can't I have a nice nickname like that?"
"Because baby doll suits you better."
I snarl at him. The rest of lunch was alright. We talked for a bit mostly us all arguing. After lunch, I cried inside whilst walking to Biology. As I walk into my class Teeshay looked happier to see me than usual and announced that Miss Boris punished me by putting me next to him as his lab partner.
"You don't talk to me, interact with me, touch me, breath next to me you got that?" I warn him.
"Loud and clear." He salutes. As I was about to lean onto the desk to make notes Teeshay tapped my arm lightly. I sat back up quickly.
"What did I tell you."
"Sorry boss." He puts his hands out in surrender.
"What do you want."
He smiled at me sweetly. "You wouldn't mind giving me a page of that notebook. Oh and a pen." I rolled my eyes.
"Is this coming out of the mouth of the same person who called me useless at lunch."
"Nope. Oh, come on I just need one pen and paper!"
"No interacting with me." I smile to myself as I lean back on the desk.
"Ok class now today we are going to do an experiment, so tuck in your chairs and go to a station with your partner," Miss Boris says.
"Oh, this is going to be fun." Teeshay whispers in my ear as he passes.
"Now I want you all to follow the instructions on the hand out that I gave to you all at the start carefully. Goodluck" She claps her hands together and everyone gets to work.
"Here you are in charge of the chemicals, I'll boil the water." I give the flask over to Teeshay.
"Yes, boss," Teeshay says sarcasm clearly present.
I go to my side of the station and light up the bunsen burner. As I fiddled with the switch I hear Teeshay move. I watch him at the corner of my eye as he stops next to me. He leans forward, our shoulders brush against each other and as he leans over to get a flask. I watched, rather enjoying the view of his muscles. The red supreme hoodie he was wearing was perfectly hugging his muscles. He seems to notice my staring as he stops sorting the flasks on the table. I look away quickly, feeling my ears heating up.
Suddenly his hands were on either side of the table trapping me in, as he seems to like doing a lot. I could feel his slow breaths tickle my neck softly.
"Am I distracting you?" He says, his voice husky. I squeaked, realizing how close we were.
"No, not at all." My voice came out quieter than I thought. I feel his hand sit on my waist, gripping firmly. He brings his body close to mine and I feel his familiar sweet lemon scent surround me. I look around the room, thankfully we chose the very back station so everyone was facing forwards.
His lips brush my ear. My pulse quickens. "Are you sure?" Humour present in his voice.
I nod my head and I feel his teeth graze my earlobe softly. His hot breath made my stomach dip. He brings hands around my waist playing the cords on my jumper.
"So why is the water spilling?" His whispers was husky. I look at the water that was bubbling on the bunsen burner now overflowing and spilling on the floor. He slowly releases his grip on my waist.
"Jesus Christ!" I gasp, quickly taking the flask off the bunsen burner.
"Not available." Teeshay leans on the counter smirking.
"Don't just stand there wipe the mess." I grab the tissues and throw it to him.
"Got it, boss." I scold him and he bends down to clean the mess. My heart was still thumping in my chest.
"Stop calling me boss." I hiss still recovering from whatever just happened. He looks up from wiping the table and gives me an award-winning smile that made my heart feel weird. As if there was a slight tingle.
