So sorry for my absence I had to go away for personal reasons and my whole schedule was packed with studying for my end of term exams so I have been busy. But Bishh i back and to ask for your forgiveness here are a few chapters! Enjoy 🙃

The party was alive, everyone was dancing to the wonderful playlist I created, swaying to every beat, the music vibrating through your bones, leaving you in an unknown feeling. I pushed my way through the crowds and to the kitchen, filling up the punch bowl again. Thirsty animals.

I readjusted my tail. I went to the mall and bought the cute face paint and lipstick Mimi told me about. I was definitely happy with my outfit since it did showed my curves a little too much but it was comfortable and cute.

And sexy  My self-conscious purrs.

I felt more comfortable at Natalie's party, looking after stuff to keep me busy. Natalie's home was full of people from different schools in our neighborhood all squashed in one house. I was honestly surprised at how many people my best friend knew.

"Hey!" I hear someone yell. I turn around to Cameron who was grinning at me. He was dressed in a dashing final fantasy suit. He looked so cool in the costume.

"Hi!" I yell over the music. Cameron takes hold of my hand and tugs me into the kitchen. Grabbing us both a drink. "I don't drink." I decline politely.

"Oh ok." He puts the drink to the side. "You look so good Melody. I mean it. You always do anyway."

I know I do, I got myself ready for two whole hours.

I gushed at Cameron. "No, I'm not!"

"You are, I mean I love that costume." He gives me a cute lopsided grin.

"Well, you look really nice in that costume too."

"I do? Well, do you know why I made sure I looked super great tonight." He asks his eyes shining mischievously. I shake my head and watch him as he leans into me, the smell of beer in his voice. "To impress someone. A person I had my eye on for quite some time now. I want to ask her out." I felt the walls close in all of a sudden. Is he hinting that he's going to ask me out? I couldn't believe my ears.

"Don't you think it's getting a bit hot in here." I blurted out nervously, waving my hands in an attempt to cool myself.

Just then I see Teeshay make his way over to us.

"Hey, Mel I was looking for you." My eyes open widely at Teeshay. He was dressed in the same, dashing long black suit that Cameron was wearing. His strong muscular figure really complementing the outfit. He seems to have realized as well as he glares at Cameron. "Hello, copycat. I know I'm a very inspirational person but no need to wear the exact same outfit as me but cheaper, it's sad."

"Trust me, my outfit which I wore first is more expensive than your parent's car." Cameron gloats. I cross my arms in annoyance. They always do this.

"I know, you were always the one to be flashy but I mean it looks cheap on you, like everything." Teeshay grins mischievously. I nudge him to behave.

"I swea-" Cameron began but I quickly cut him off. I really didn't need them to have a fight. Not now.

"I mean you both look really good so that's good," I suggest.

"But I look more handsome don't I Melody." Teeshay winks at me.

"No, I'm sure she thinks that I'm more dashing." Cameron looks at me as well. They both stand there, me in the middle waiting for an answer.

"Hey Teeshay, Mark is here for his bat." A boy who I assumed was from the football team says saving me. He gives a quick nod towards Cameron and waits for Teeshay.

"I'll be back, to continue to gloat how an amazing copy cat you are Diaz." Teeshay spits before turning around and following the guy.

"Don't mind Teeshay." I try to apologize. Cameron wrinkles his nose at Teeshay's very own name. Wow, they really do hate each other. I wonder what's their story?

"It's whatever." He quickly dismisses the matter. "But right now I really feel like doing something."

"Oh, really what?" I take a sip from my coke can only for it to be taken out of my hands and put on the counter next to me. I looked at Cameron confused.

"Something that I wanted for a while now." He steps forward, his expression unreadable. I step backward, hitting my back on the kitchen island.

Cameron brings both of his arms on either side of me trapping me and leans in even more. "I so want to kiss you again." He trails his finger against my lips. I instantly get flashes of Teeshay doing the same and moved my face so he can drop his finger.

"Cameron I-" I started but trailed off, spotting Teeshay in the crowd walking upstairs. I stood there not knowing what to say. I have fantasized about Cameron to kiss me for so long yet here I am rejecting him. I guess since Teeshay and I's "thing" my views have changed. I might have even forgotten about Cameron these last few days.

"It's ok." He sighs pushing back. I straighten myself feeling a bit guilty.

"Cam cam!" I hear Alexis yell looking around for Cameron. She was dressed in a short and very revealing nurse outfit.

"Um, why don't we chat later I need to talk with someone quickly," I say, trying to get out of the situation.

"Yeah, that's cool." He runs a hand in his hair looking over me. I walk away quickly before Alexis sees me and wants to pick up a fight. Since the mall incident, Alexis hadn't bothered me all week and probably even avoided me. Did she feel guilty for what she said?

No, its Alexis she doesn't know what feelings are. My self conscious reminds me. Very true.

I go up the stairs, the same direction Teeshay went and looks around for him. Or anyone to spend the rest of the night at this party with. I looked inside the toilets but no sign of him. I walked over to the slightly opened guest bedroom and opened it. He's probably not there but I might as well check since the light was on.

When I opened the door I regret even opening it. My eyes widen, my fists tighten, feeling a wave of anger and embarrassment wash over me.

There he was. Teeshay lying on the bed with a half-naked girl on top of him, making out. They haven't seemed to notice my presence yet, they were too engrossed in swallowing each other. I watched in horror as Teeshay pulling the girl's hair, eating her neck. As I was about to yell at them Natalie appears behind me.

"Hey Mel, what are-" She stops and looks over at Teeshay and the girl sighing. "Oh my God Teeshay! Could you not do it in the Bush outside or the doghouse!" She yells matching over to them.

She throws the girl's clothes at them as she climbs off Teeshay. That's when our eyes lock. His eyes widen at my presence. He straightened himself. I shook my head in disbelief. I can't believe I rejected Cameron for this. I have once again been a fool. What did expect though Mr sleeps around doesn't date.

He opens his mouth to speak but Natalie hits him with his shoe. "Chop chop Teeshay!" She pulls him off the bed and I turn around to leave. Angry.

I was warned. Last time he did the exact same thing. But I still didn't use my head. I forgave himself I easily and let him play with me again. I'm furious. But mostly with myself. We are not a couple but we are not going to be friends with benefits either. In fact, we are not friends full stop. I push past the people who were hovering over the stairs and Teeshay grabs my hand pulling me to turn around.

Breath in, breath out, and punch! My self-conscious chants

"Don't touch me, when I don't even know where those hands have been." I snap bitterly.

"Mel look-" He began but I cut him off.

"Its ok Teeshay, why would I be mad. We are nothing to each other." I shrug crossing my arms. He reaches out but I step back.

"What do you mean we are nothing to each other?" He glares.

"We are single. Free to do as we please. So go find your girl, I'm heading out." I turn around but he turns me around again. "Leave me alone Teeshay!" I yelled pushing him back. His face hardens.

"And you said you are not mad!" He spits.

"Don't irritate me. Go away."

"You know what I'll go and find the girl whilst you go and find your little crush Cameron I'm sure he is dying to do many things to you." He says bitterly. I stare at him in disbelief.

"You've got to be kidding," I mutter.

"Oh, Cameron you look so handsome in that suit!" He mimicked.

"You are so God damn childish and a waste of my time!" I shout.

"Then why are you still here go, find your little lover boy!" And with that, he turns on his heel and stalks back up the stairs. I watched him march up the stairs making me even more furious.

Fuming I stormed into the backyard to get some fresh air, only to find myself choking on the smell of marijuana. I grab a cup of alcohol from the table and downed it, trying to drown my emotions. Just for tonight. The alcohol fizzes in my throat, almost like it was burning it.

I almost forgot how it tastes like.

I feel someone pat my back and I turn around.

"Mel, you ok?" Tokyo asks concerned.

"Yes, thank you for finding me!" I wrap my arms around him, hiding my face so he doesn't see my sad face.

"Whoa, what's wrong with you?" He pulls me and holds me at arms length. "Girl, you didn't touch up on your make up like I told you to, where is the lipstick?" I obediently listen to my talented personal makeup artist and reach my bag for the lipstick. Tokyo takes my hand and drags me to the bathroom and applied a few layers.

"That's better." He looked back at his creation. "Hey, they're playing truth and dare in the next room let's go play with them." He drags me again into the living room where everyone was sitting leaving no room for argument.

We sit down on the sofa, I sit next to Mary Sol. There were about fifteen of us. One of them being Teeshay and a different girl sitting together on the armchair but her sitting on his lap. Our eyes lock for a second I see a smile creep upon his lips. I quickly look away determined for him to not get any satisfaction.

"Ok guys let's start!" Ali gets up and places the empty beer bottle in the middle. She sits back down next to me and Cameron and Alexis make their way to sit with us.

When we were all sitting in a weird enough circle Cameron reaches over to spin the bottle. "Let me start!"

The bottle spins for a few seconds, me praying inside that it doesn't land on me. God answers my prayer when it lands on a girl called Charlie. She picked dare and they made her give a lap dance on anyone she chooses. She makes her way to Bruce. We all watch her she grinds herself on a very satisfied Bruce.

"Gross." Mary sol scoffs.

"Ok, that's enough next person." Natalie rolls her eyes throwing a pillow at the two. Charlie smiles placing a kiss on Bruce's lips and sitting back down.

"Jealous princess?" Bruce grins causing Natalie to scold even more.

We spin the bottle and this time it lands on the Teeshay's new candy. She chose dare and some stupid guy in a vampire outfit told her to dry hump any guy in the room. The girl happily eyed Teeshay making her way to him and climbed onto his lap.

I manage to keep a straight face, ignoring the sting of pain in my chest. Whatever. I lean over to Tokyo and grab his cup, drinking down all the content in it.

"Since when did you start drinking again?" Tokyo whispers raising a brow.

"Just for tonight." I slurred, feeling the alcohol kicking in my system. She grinds herself slowly on him, he brings his hands around her waist to pull her closer causing some people to hoot.

"Seems like you enjoying. What happened to the other one?" Natalie scoffs.

"I get bored easily." Teeshay laughs back looking directly at me. I feel a rush of anger that made me want to go up and punch his face.

"Who can blame the guy he's boring himself," I said aloud. Everyone bursts out laughing. I locked eyes with Teeshay who kept a straight face as the girl gets off his lap.

"I felt that on a spiritual level!" Mary Sol toots giving me a high five. We spin the bottle again and it goes on Bruce this time. He chose to dare.

"We dare you to kiss any girl or guy whatever runs your boat." Tokyo dared Bruce.

Charlie looks up hopefully but her face soon fell as Bruce makes his way to Natalie. He holds his hand for her to take. She stares at the hand.

"Look at her face!" Ali chokes on her laughter. We all look at Natalie who shrugged and took his hand.

Bruce pulls her up quickly to him and crashes his lips onto her. He moves his hand around her waist pulling her close. We gape at them in surprise as the two continue to kiss like there is no one in the room. Bruce pushes his hands into her hair and I stare in surprise that Natalie hit him already that he messed her hair.

"Ok love birds get a room!" Teeshay yells. They break up and Natalie looks over at me a surprised look before fixing her face quickly. Bruce goes to sit down. Both of them quiet.

"What wrong with those two, did they find out that they are made for each other or something?" Mary Sol crackles loudly.

They spin the bottle once again, this time lands on me.

"Truth or dare?" Timothy from bio asked.

"Why would you ask. She's a pussy watch her pick truth." Alexis rolls her eyes.

"Dare," I say glaring at Alexis.

"I dare you to make out with anyone here." Great. Then an idea sparked in my head. I look over at Cameron and make my way over to him. Everyone is quiet watching me in awe, apart from Alexis who was staring at me as if she wanted to murder me there and then.

Cameron who seemed taken back gets up quickly. I stand in front of him, Teeshay behind him an unreadable expression on his face watching me as if he dared me to kiss Cameron.

I reached up on my tips toes and locked my lips with Cameron. People hooted us on, my friends being the loudest as Cameron pulls me close to his body. Our tongues meet, playing with each other. The kiss was nice and slow, the taste of strawberries from the drink he had. I pulled my arms around his neck for extra effect. I didn't feel the spark. Or that energy like I did with Teeshay. Frustrated with myself I deepened the kiss, speeding up. I need to forget about Teeshay. Teeshay who?

I break our kiss and look back shyly at Cameron.

"I really like kissing you," Cameron says smiling. I smile back and the boys tease us by wolf-whistling. I sit back next to an excited Tokyo and a shocked Mary Sol who literally attack me into a hug.

"Stop people are staring!" I pushed them off.

"We are just so proud of you that's all." Tokyo wipes a non-existent tear from his eyes.

I look over at Teeshay who had now taken the girl off his lap and was staring back at me. And Alexis? Well, the girl really looked like a rocket about to take off.

Macy one of Alexis flying monkeys spins the bottle again and it lands on Alexis. They both grin at each other.

"I dare you to pour a drink on someone you don't like." Alexis very happy with her dare gets up. I watch her walk over to me, her beer in her hand.

As she was about to pour the drink Natalie slaps the drink out of her hand.

"Don't even think about it." Alexis pushes Natalie back.

"Chill it's just a game." Natalie pushes her back and I get up to pull Natalie back.

"Sit down you jealous bitch!" Natalie yells. Alexis her face full of thunder launches for Natalie but Bruce with one step pushes the two apart.

"Why don't we calm down. Or you'll spoil the game." He glares at Alexis who sits back in her chair grumpily and pulls Natalie away and upstairs.

"Salty motherfucker." I groan. Tokyo and Mary sol nod in agreement.

They spin the bottle again and now it lands on Cameron. He chose to dare.

"I dare you to take anyone you like in a room for 5 minutes alone!" Ali says.

Suddenly Cameron gets up and grabs my hand pulling me up and we go upstairs.
