Rayanne

"Yeah sure." I say casually. His eyes lighten up and he smiles at me. "Really?"  "Yeah of course.''

 "Do you want to go now?" He asks. I nod and together we walk to our bikes, hand in hand. He leads the way and I get lost in thoughts as I follow. How could two people like Alex and Taylor like someone as bland and boring as me. 

Alex said that it was because I was different. Am I really? I sigh and pull up in a spot next to Alex. 

"Horror movie I presume?" I ask as we walk to the ticket booth. "Yup." He says as he buys two tickets. 

"Hey, I was thinking do you want to eat somewherem after this?" He asks with a hint of hope in his voice. "Sure." I say. 

We walk into cinema number four and take two seats near the back.

"That was such an awesome movie. I love it when its about a psycholocgical issue." I say excitedly as we exit the cinema. "You really are one of a kind." He says as he shakes his head. "I will take that as a compliment." I say as the cold air hits us. 

"Can you come on my bike? I will drive us back here later." He asks. I nod then sit behind him. 

"Its cold." I exclaim as I put my helmet on. "Well, I happen to be very hot so you can just wrap your arms around me." He says cockily. I hit his back then reluctantly wrap my arms around him. "You certainly don't hit like a girl." He says before the world goes by in fast forward. 

As we go faster it gets colder. I tighten my grip around his torso, trying to gain a little warmth. 

After a few minutes Alex pulls up at a diner. When we get off I wrap my arms around myself. Alex pushes the door open and I scan the room as we sit in one of the booths. Its a comfy warm looking diner. "Hi there, my name's Stephanie, here's your menus. I will back later to collect your orders." A teenage blonde girl asks in a bored tone. "Thanks." Alex says. When the girl sees Alex, she instantly wakes up from her bored trance.

"Hey, what's your name?" She asks with a wink. He looks disgusted but she doesn't seem to notice. I laugh at his reaction and she glares at me. "What the hell are you laughing about hoe?" SHe asks. 

"Nothing." I say as I try to cover my laughter. Alex glares at me as well. 

"Look, is there a problem?" She asks. "Yeah, there is a huge problem here. You." I exclaim. Her make up covered face goes red, but not from her overload of blush. "How dare you!" SHe shouts. Alex laughs and high-fives me. "Excuse me? Can we get another waitress?" Alex shouts out. Another person comes out but this time its a guy. 

"Sorry for the inconvenience." He says as he pulls 'Stephanie' away. "You should have seen your face." I say as I try to control my laughter. "Shut up. She-was-scary." I look at the menu then realise that i don't know what to get. "Alex. What do you recommend I get?" 

''Just let me order for you." He says as the waiter comes back. "Hi, I'm Chris, I will be your new waiter. What can I get you?" He asks. 

"Two chicken deluxe meals and two cokes." He says. Chris writes it down. "I will be back with your orders." He says.

"He was staring at you as if you were a slab of fresh meat and he was a lion." He says through gritted teeth, his eyes narrowed at the guys back. I pinch his cheek. "Awwww, are you jealous?" I say in a baby tone. "No." He huffs. 

Five minutes later Chris make a re-appearance. "Here are your orders." He puut two plates of food in front of us and the drinks. On my glass a slip of paper is stuck on my glass and when I look at Chris he just winks and walks away. I fold the paper and slip it into my pocket. 

"You're keeping it?" He says. "Yeah, so? I will give it to some cheerleader at school and say its your number." I explain as I take a bite out of the chicken burger.

Alex watches me as I eat and I get creeped out. "What?" I ask as I take a slurp out of my glass. "I bet that any other girl would have said.'' He does a dramatic cough then continues  '' Oh my god, does this like have a lot of calories? Does it look like I want to gain weight? There's something called like a salad, have you heard of it before.?" He says in a high pitched fail of a girl voice.

I laugh and try to swallow the drink instead of spitting it out. I swallow and burst out laughing, earning me weird looks from the elder poeple inside. 

"How does that even resemble a girl's voice?" I question. "I used a lot of likes." He says. I shake my head and get up to pay. I hand Chris $25 then wait for Alex to come. HE goes to Chris and takes back the money only to hand his own. "Here." He says as he passes me my money. 

"WHy did you pay?" I ask as we get back onto his bike. "Because." He says. Then we are off. 

We quickly stop by the park to get my bike. I take off my helmet and turn to him. "Thanks Alex. I had fun tonight.'' 

"Same. Hope we can do it again sometime." He comes forward and kisses me on the lips. It only lasts for about two seconds before he turns around and gets onto his bike. He rides away and I soon do the same thing.
