Finally, it was food time. I went towards my locker to keep my books and saw Arthur leaning against it. What's up with these boys today? Why all of them are leaning against my locker? Is this some kind of new sport?

"What the heck, dude?" I asked.
"Well hello to you too step sis," Arthur said. Yes, he was my stepbrother one and only son of Richard Scott. Though I met Richard and he seemed to be a good man but Arthur he is a womanizer just like Ethan, actually, Ethan and Arthur are like brothers from different mothers. Why am I even discussing these assholes?

"Earth to Veronica," Arthur yelled in my ears. My eardrums just blasted.

"WHAT!?" I yelled back.

"Ethan is coming you might have already heard this from Yohann," He said smirking. In this whole school only Arthur, Valken, and Adina were not afraid of me.

"What's up with everyone today? Why you people keep on telling me that the stupid son of a bitch is coming back?" I said angrily.

Arthur was about to say something but I saw something behind him more like someone behind him. Ethan Blake, there he was the devil himself. He looked the same; hazel eyes, chiseled jawline, 6.3 feet height. Black ripped jeans, black leather jacket, and black shirt. I didn't know I was holding breathe until I released it. He still looked so good, I almost forgot for a moment that he ruined me.

"Son of a bitch huh? You hurt me nerdy," Ethan said smirk and standing beside Arthur.

"Oh! Ethan 'the great' is hear I thought you won't show up as you are a very big coward," I said gaining confidence. Wait where did this confidence come from? Where was it 2 years back?

"Well, I enrolled hear just now, pumpkin. I can see you have changed a lot. From nerd to the bad girl," He said still that smirk plastered on his face. After all this time he still had the audacity to call me 'Pumpkin'.

"I think I should leave you two alone. See you soon sis," Arthur said walking away.
"Sis huh? I thought he had some lusty crush on you, pumpkin?" Ethan said.

Bastard is the word that completely defines Ethan's personality.

"Oh! Sorry to break your little dream but Arthur is my stepbrother," I said innocently. I sounded like 4 years old.
"Still a drama queen you are," He said chuckling.

"What are you doing here again, Ethan?" I asked.
"I just missed you at London pumpkin. I know you still love me," He said. Wait how the hell does he knows I loved him? Only Valken and Adina knew that.
"I would never ever love a person like you Ethan just remember that and don't you ever call me 'pumpkin' again. You lost that right 2 years back when you humiliated me in front of the whole school and then disappeared without informing," I said very angrily.

"It was not my intention to humiliate you...." He said.
"Save it, Ethan save it. I don't want to hear your shit. Just get ready cause I am going to take revenge now," I said and walked away.

"I will see what worse you can do, pumpkin. Your feelings for me aren't gone yet I can see it in your eyes," He yelled behind me.

I walked away from that place as fast as I can and soon I was in girls' washroom thinking what to do next.
