Hi everyone! This entry is a poem, that I wrote yesterday. Now I want to try and do more poetry for you guys, because it as been an aspect of my writing that I enjoy, but haven't pursued as much. Thus I will pursue it! Comment and tell me what you think!!

The wind blows

The waters quietly still, for the whole land is tranquil

But nobody would know, for the waves were not still just a moment before

The clouds had rolled over, rain began to pour

All ran to hide, away from the rain, away from the shore

Thunder, lighting, yes, it was all there

Rumbling, flashing, many were scared

But in a moment it was as if the sky itself was lifted

Like the wings of a vast eagle bearing the storm as it shifted

When light shined through, and the wind blew

Out they came, rejoicing in the last sprinkles of rain

For what joy they felt after long alone they had dwelt

And now their "then" brings us to our "now"

A time of peace, a time of sorrow, a time of living in the somehow

Somehow yes, somehow no, but for all we know, the wind still blows
