In the evening
Anirudh was sitting frustrated in his room on the bed. Som was standing in front of him with a helpless face. Som said: Dadaa...chod dijiye na ye zidd.... chaliye neeche.... sab intezar kar rahe hai aapka......
Anirudh then said irritated: Som please jaa.... tu.... tu... nahi samjhega..... aaj humari anniversary hai.... aur yaha kya ho raha hai....jagrata... pooja....theek hai pooja karni bhi thi to ho gai na... subah mandir me.... ab ghar karne ki kya zarurat thi..... subah se ek minute bhi..... bondita ke saath waqt bitane nahi diya hai..... kya socha tha..... ki kuch special karunga aaj ke din... sab kuch khatam hogaya.... aur bondita.... kaka ki aagyakari bahu.... wo to kuch kahegi hi nahi....
They heard Bondita's voice: Kya kaha aapne....
Som turned around and Anirudh too looked at the door. Anirudh stood up and his mouth fell open seeing Bondita. She was all decked up like a bride. Som giggled seeing Anirudh's reaction. He closed his mouth and said: Muh band kijiye dada.... makkhi ghus jaegi....
Anirudh closed his mouth embarrassed. Bondita silently giggled. Bondita then sternly said looking at Anirudh: Aap jaiye Som dada... patibabu ko mai lekar aati hu.....
Som giggled and left. Bondita slowly started taking steps towards Anirudh saying: To kya keh rahe the aap.... aap neeche nahi chalenge.....
Anirudh started taking his steps backwards and said stammering: Haa... haa.... nahi aaunga....
Bondita smirked as Anirudh fell on the bed with a jerk. She came close to him and leaned forward to his face taking him by surprise. She came close to his lips snd he closed his eyes. She saw his close eyes and smirked. She tilted her face and kissed his cheek. He opened his eyes and said in a surprised tone: Mai sapna to nahi dekh raha hu....
Bondita pinched his arm and he winced. Bondita then said: Sapna nahi.... haqeeqat hai ye..... (pinching his nose) Buddhu babu.
She then held his hand and started moving out. Anirudh tried to escape her hold but she didn't let him. Anirudh irritatedly said: Bondita..... Kya kar rahi ho.... haath chodo mera.... mujhe nahi jana kahi....
Bondita stopped and looked at him and said: Kuch khaas karna chahte the na ap... aaj ke din....
Anirudh sighed and nodded. Bondita then said with a smile: To phir chaliye mere saath... and dragged him. Anirudh sighed and followed her uninterestedly.

They reached near the stairs. Anirudh got surprised seeing the decorations and all the family members and Das family standing with a smile on their face. Rudra, Arup and Aakansha were standing with flowers on the side of the stairs. Anirudh looked at Bondita surprised. Bondita smiled at him and gestured with her eyes to move ahead. Anirudh looked at everyone and smiled and then again looked at Bondita. She gave him a questioning look. Anirudh smiled and picked her up in his arms. She blushed. Everyone smiled. He started moving down holding her. Arup, Rudra and Aakansha showered flowers on them while they moved down.
He made her stand as they reached down. Both moved forward and touch Thakumaa's feet seeking her blessings . Anirudh then said: Aaplogo ne ye sab... kuch... kab... Rudra came from behind and said: Bade baba.... Kab... kahan.. kaise... ye sab chodiye.... abhi bohot kuch baki hai....
Anirudh looked at him confused and then looked at Bondita raising his eyebrow. Bondita shrugged her shoulders and said: Mujhe mat dekhiye aise... mujhe pura surprise nahi bataya kisine... mujhe nahi pata.... sirf itna pata tha... ki aapko pareshan karne ke liye sabne bola... ki ghar par pooja hai.... aur kuch nahi pata mujhe... shotti....
Everyone giggled. Arup gestured Anirudh and Bondita to look forward towards the the wall. There they saw a white screen. And there the first image flashed on the screen.

Shorvari then to lighten the atmosphere said: Chaliye.... tasweere dekh li.... ab Maa - Baba ki ek performance hojae....
Arup, Rudra and Aakansha understood and Arup played the music. Bondita and Anirudh looked at each other.

She then started singing walking around Anirudh....

She stood in front of him and keeping her hands on her heart sang....

She stood close to him and mived her hands in front of his eyes singing....

She then kept her hand on his heart and sang looking into his eyes...

She then held his arms and they moved in a circular motion as she sang...

Aye ho meri zindagi me
Tum bahaar banke

He kept his hand on her cheek and she held his hand there singing...

Mere saathi , mere sajan
Mere saath yunhi chalna

She looked into his eyes and kept her hand on his cheek singing....

Badlega rang zamana
Par tum nahi badalna

She touched her hairline still looking into his eyes and sang....

Meri maang yunhi bharna
Taare hazaar banke

She again kept her on hand on heart and and the other on his heart and sang...

Mere dil me yunhi rehna
Tum pyaar pyar banke

She kept her hands on his shoulder and he wrapped his arms around her waist and tgey moved in a circular motion as she sang.....

Aye ho meri zindagi me
Tum bahaar banke

Atlast then she hugged him wrapping her arms around his shoulder. There were tears in her eyes. He too wrapped his arms around her back hugging her. She whispered in his ears while crying: Phir kabhi.... aise naraaz mat hoiyega.... mai swh nahi paungi.....
Anirudh broke the hug and held her face and wiped her tears and whispered smiling: Kabhi nahi.....
Bondita too smiled. Their trance broke with the sound of claps of the family members.

They got seperated. Rudra came and gestured them to look in front. There they saw a marriage mandap decorated. A pandit sitting with the holy fire. They looked at everyone surprised. Shorvari and Aakansha brought a red chunri and kept it on Bondita's head with topor and Arup brought the topor and made Anirudh wear it. They looked like a perfect bride and groom. They took them to the mandap and made them sit. Both of them smiled at each other and did the rituals. When the pandit said to stand for sacred rounds. They stood up but Bondita's leg twisted. Anirudh immediately picked her up in his arms. She got shocked while everyone smiled. He took the seven rounds holding her in his arms. Atlast , He filled her hairline with the sacred vermilion. Arup then said: To chaliye ab ek family photo ho jaye.
Everyone stood together and rhe cameraman took their photo.
