Welcome to From Heaven, with Love, my new contemporary romance with a pinch of paranormal, some steam, and a healthy dose of humour.

Meet Armand, a love god, who's tired of matchmaking, and Sylvia, a disillusioned assistant professor, who's fed up with being in love. What could possibly go wrong with this match made somewhere between heaven and earth? Besides a jealous and violent ex-boyfriend, a fuming boss of gods, or a sex-hungry goddess of revenge, who's miffed about being thrown out of Armand's silken sheets?

Yeah, you guessed it, there's a whole lot that could go wrong, and that's why this romance is a fun and quirky ride with characters that will make you laugh and others you'll love to hate.

I originally wrote Entlieben - Wenn Herzen heilen, the German version of this story, for last year's ONC, but decided to leave the contest behind, because I wanted to write a full-length novel. My characters just wouldn't shut up about how they wanted more time and more fun, so I gave it to them.

Now, as a Wattpad Creator, I'm thrilled to present the story of Armand and Sylvia to a wider audience by translating it to English, or rather rewriting it, because things feel slightly different when my characters switched to English. Those of you who have read the German version might find that I've made some changes along the way. There's one thing though that hasn't changed, and that's the happy ending, because this is a romance after all.

Even love gods get tired of love. At least, Armand does. For an eternity, he's been in charge of making sure humans find the "one", when a completely unexpected call for help throws him off track.

Sylvia, a 27-year-old assistant professor of art history, is fed up with love. For three years, she's been in a relationship with Edgar, who is as egoistical as he's unfaithful. All she wants, is to be rid of her feelings for him, but she can't find a way out of this toxic relationship. When she gets dangerously close to a suicide attempt, she begs the heavens to free her from love. 

This isn't one of Armand's usual calls. Intrigued and eager to escape the eternal boredom in his office at "Clouds of Love", he rushes down to earth to save Sylvia before it's too late, but when he suddenly finds himself caught up in feelings for her, this is only the beginning of his problems. 

His ill-tempered boss, Mr. Z, is threatening to strip him of his immortality, and his on-and-off lover Natalia, the sultry and sex-hungry goddess of revenge, is not at all amused that Armand is kicking her off his god-sized bed.

Add to the mix a jealous and violent Edgar, who is not willing to give up Sylvia, Armand is in more trouble than he can handle.

Forced to make a choice between love and immortality, he must learn to trust his heart, or lose his chance at happiness that might not last an eternity, but could be forever.

From Heaven, with Love is a story for mature audiences!

It contains adult language, some explicit sex scenes (one that's not entirely consensual), as well as one suicidal incident. With all that said, it's not a dark story at all, rather humorous and light-hearted, despite it dealing with heavy themes of attempted suicide and toxic relationships.
