Chapter 1

Every time I look off a building, I think of how easy it would be to jump and not fly. I always have. You see, I didn't come from a womb like most humans, I don't say people because that includes animals, but instead I came from an egg. Yeah, I know, an egg. I can change into a sphinx and a dragon. Oh also I have a golem. He looks human but he isn't really. He is my quote "Protecter". Believe me, He isn't very good at it.

I look down again. So simple to just, fall.

Please don't mistress. Your other Gardians would kill me, then come after you in the underworld.

He was right of course. But that didn't make it any easier.

"I have to stretch my wings, you know that."

I hear a mental sigh, I know, but like you thought it doesn't make it any easier.

I look at him and smile.

Right as I turn to jump, silver claws surround me.

Golem did what Golem does best. He shrinks and teleports into my pocket.

Onyx: NIGHT! GET OUT OF MY ROOM WHEN I AM WRITING! Sorry about that. Night likes to mess either when I am writing. I really should lock the door, but she knows how to pick a lock so that won't work. Oh well. Home you guys are having a good day! And since this chapter is so short I will be adding two. Also, don't worry about the length, they WILL get longer in times to come.
