Tsuna's POV

It was just another normal morning. Me sitting on my sit listening to the teacher up front lecturing. I let out a yawn. It been so boring lately.

'Dude, you should pay attention to the class!'

'Oh? Shintaro-kun? Its rare for you to talk to me.'

'Huh? Is it? Well time moves differently here'

'Yeah yeah I know ive been there before.'

'Just so you know its not only you thats bored.'

'So your bored too?'

'Well duh. I get easily bored, plus I cant use my phone here.'

Tsuna mentally sweat dropped.

'I think you like your phone TOO much.'

'Huh? Dont be ridiculous.'

'No, Im serious.'

'Dropping this topic, do you not remember what today is?'

'Hmmm....No, nothing really.'

'*sigh* Your really hopeless. Im not going to spoil it for you, your friends will do that.'

'Eh? What do you mean?'

'Talk to you later, teacher is talking.'

Tsuna came back to reality and noticed that Hayato kept staring at him every now and then and starts fidgeting. He also noticed Takeshi is grinning wider than usual, if thats even possible. But Tsuna shrugged all that and focused on the lesson for once.

~TIME SKIPP~

Scene: Streets

Tsuna's POV

For the whole day it was normal except Hayato's fidgeting around and Takeshi's larger grin. Which somehow disturbs me. "Hey Tsuna, do you have an idea what today is?" Takeshi asked me. I turned to look at him and tilted my head to the side," No, I have no idea what today is. Shintaro-kun mentioned something like that this morning but he didnt tell me." I replied to him. He smiled at me and placed his hand on my head then said," Well, youll find out soon enough! But seriously Tsuna, how could you forgotten?" I looked at him with a confused look and he just laughs. "Yakyuu-baka! Stop talking to Tsuna-sama so casually!" Hayato who has been quite quiet for some time said. And so it started, Hayato keep yelling at Takeshi at he says his "Maa maa", leaving me to ponder what today is. 

'As I thought.'

'Huh? Shintaro-kun, what do you mean?'

'I think Im starting to understand why you cant remember what today is.'

'Huh? Why?'

'Well its related to the 'sad thing' I was talking about.'

'Is that so..? By the way when are you going to tell me what that is?'

'Someday Tsuna and who knows, maybe that day is coming closer than I thought.'

'Shintaro-kun your being unfair'

'I promise! For now please be patient!'

'*sighs* Fine...'

And with that our conversation ended. I hadnt noticed but the whole time we were talking, Takeshi, Hayato and me were walking towards my place. I look up and saw my house infront of me. Takeshi gave me a smile and said," Lets go in!" I nodded and inserted the key in its hole and turned it. Slowly the door opened and.....

BAM!

Streamers and confetty were everywhere. "HAPPY BIRTHDAY, TSUNA!!" Everyone shouted. "W-whaa...?" I was speachless. Birthday? My birthday? And I totally forgot it...I have completely ignored what was happening infront of me and thought for a minute. I have never forgotten my birthday before and yet....Wait, Shintaro-kun said something about the reason why I have forgotten and its related to the sad thing he was talking about...

"...na"

"..s....a"

"Ts......a"

"Tsu....a"

"Tsuna!"

"Hey Tsuna!"

I snapped back at reality and saw all eyes on me. I laughed nervously and said," Gomen gomen!" "Hey Tsuna you okay?" Takeshi asks. "Y-yeah just somethings got into my mind thats all...." I replied and so we celebrated my birthday with cake.

~TIME SKIPP~

It was quite late and Otou-san, Takeshi, and Gokudera had to go. Why otou-san? Because he has to go back to work. And so with some farewells they left, leaving Reborn and me alone. Just when I was about to go to my room Reborn stopped me and asked a question that I hopped he never asked.

"Hey, wheres your mom?"
