I'm waiting at the lamppost for everyone to get here.

I looked at the lamppost beside me and smirked.

It looks like the one from that episode of Toradora...

I checked my watch and sighed.

Am I the only one who shows up to stuff early?

Then I saw Hitomi and Mikasa in the distance.

Hitomi, dressed in red and Mikasa, in pale pink.

Mikasa bowed politely and Hitomi just attacked/hugged me.

"You missed us, didn't you? That's why you're so early, huh? Couldn't wait to see my beautiful face again." Hitomi said and flipped her hair.

Mikasa pulled her off of me and glared at her.

"Where are your manners, Hitomi?"

She turned to me.

"It's nice to see you again, Kouta. " she said.

I smiled.

"You too. " I said.

Hitomi glomped Mikasa.

"What about me, Kouta! You missed me too, right? " Hitomi said.

"Not really..." I said.

She stuck out her tongue.

"Go die in a hole, Kouta. " she said.

I grinned.

"Remember how I said I can't do that? Festival's tonight if you haven't forgotten about it already." I said.

She smiled.

"How could I? " she said.

Hitomi seems different somehow...
