"Yes! " I shout back.

"Then say something! " she says.

I look down at my feet.

"What can I say sis? " I say.

She grabs my hands.

"I'm going to miss you. " she says, with tears in her eyes.

"Why do you have to leave? " I ask.

"I don't want you or mom and dad to see me die. " she says then kisses my forehead.

"Is this because of ...." I ask.

"Yes. " she says.

"But-"

"Take care of mom and dad for me, squirt. Make music with that piano over there. Play it whenever you start to miss me and I'll be right beside you, helping you play the right notes. " she says and hugs me.

"But, sis... " I sniffle out.

"Bye, Kouta. " she says and walks away.

I can't stop crying.

"Masako! " I shouted.

But she didn't turn around.
