(Kouta's pov)

They're back together, again.

Noriko always finds a way to forgive him.

That's one of her worst flaws and one of her greatest assets.

She can always find it somewhere in her heart to forgive someone.

That's also probably one of the things that made me fall in love with her in the first place.

When I first met Noriko, there was a rumor going around the school that I liked to hurt people for fun.

It was most likely started by Miki.

Miki hates me, but that's a story for another time...

Noriko didn't care what anyone would think about her when she sat next to me at lunch.

I asked, "Why sit next to me?"

She said, "You're nice and rumors are just rumors. Nothing more. You can't trust gossip. You seem like a nice guy. My name's Noriko Murusaki, pleased to meet you! "

I remember shaking her hand and she smiled.

"Kouta. " I said.

"Last name? " she asked.

"It's embarrassing.... " I confessed.

"Come on, you can tell me. I promise I won't tell everyone about it. " she said, then moved her fingers across her lips as if she was zipping them up.

"My lips are sealed. " she said then shook my shoulder.

"Please, tell me! " she pleaded.

I sighed.

"It's Noroi. " I confessed.

"Curse? " she questioned.

I smirked thinking about the rumors.

"I'm true to my name, aren't I? " I said.

She smiled widely and looked me in the eyes.

"Anything but. " she said.

And from that day on, I always knew that I would be in love with a certain girl named Noriko Murusaki.
