Movie Night At Tyler's Apartment

We get back to Wisconsin State University and the sun is slowly going down and I can almost see the sliver moon taking the sun's place in the cloudless dark blue sky. I park my car and we both jump out of my car, locking the car doors.

Then, I see a group of college students walking towards us and I begin to get nervous, scared, and intimidated all at the same time. Omg, tell me they are not about to kill or rape me,  I think to myself. "Stay calm, Mel." Claire whispers to me confidently. Claire shoves one of the college students and the college student falls to the ground quickly.

It wasn't just a bunch of regular college students. It was Bailey, Brandon, Caitlin, and Tyler. Now, I feel bad for being threatened by my own friends. Brandon, who was shoved by Claire, is getting up off the ground slowly. "Hey, what the hell did you do that for?" Brandon yells, loudly. "Sorry, I thought you were a rapist or something." Claire apologizes, guiltily and sadly with a small frown.

"It's alright. I'm Brandon." He introduces himself, smiling brightly. "I'm Claire." She says, happily. "Mel, is that you?" Caitlin asks, smiling in the dark. "Yes." I say. "We were just going to watch Tyler's apartment to watch a couple of movies on Netflix. You guys should join us." Bailey suggests.

Mel, you need to spend sometime with your best friends tonight, you can worry about Justin later, My subconscious tells me. I nod and excitedly say, "Netflix and chill it is!.

⚫⚫⚫⚫

We ride the down the dark streets of downtown Wisconsin in separate cars: Bailey, Caitlin, and Tyler in Tyler's shiny silver Volvo and Brandon, Claire, and I in Brandon's white sports car. The wind blows through my hand and I begin to out my hands up in the air like I don't care smiling.

We follow Tyler to his apartment and once we all get there we jump out of our cars and as a huge group of friends I begin to walk towards Tyler's apartment.

The inside of Tyler's apartment is beautiful, the walls are white, two bedrooms, a couch, a flat screen TV, a kitchen, a bathroom, and even a second car. "Your apartment is beautiful, Tyler." I compliment. "Thanks." He says.
 
I, Brandon, and Claire all take a seat in the large dark brown couch together as Caitlin, Bailey, and Tyler sat a sit in the living room floor. Three large bowls of popcorn, a share size pack of Skittles, and a pack of PepsiCo soda cans sit in front of us all.

"What should we watch tonight on Netflix?" Tyler asks, after uploading Netflix onto his flat screen TV in the living room. "Friends!" We all say at the exact same time and we begin to laugh and smile.

We watch a marathon of Friends for a whole hour, we cry, laugh, smile, giggle, and cringe throughout all of the episodes. My group of friends reminds me of Friends, I think to myself. Don't you forget that you have dinner with that tall glass of water called Ethan Greene, my subconscious reminds me quickly.

I jump up off of the couch and stand up quickly. "What time is it?" I ask, curiously. "It is almost nine." Brandon says, checking the watch on his wrist that I haven't noticed before. "I'm sorry guys, but, I have to go somewhere. I'll see you all later." I apologize, warm heartily. "I'll drive you, home, Mel." Brandon suggests.

I wave goodbye and give everyone a warm hug before I leave and jump into Brandon's sports car and sprint down the streets quickly back towards Wisconsin State University.

"Have a goodnight, Mel." Brandon says, happily. There is a hint of sadness in his warm and dry voice. "You too, Brandon. Goodbye." I say, waving goodbye to him as I hop out of his car and walk away from to the parking lot and towards The Dorms building.

I wave goodbye one last time before Brandon drives off into the night.
