Someone is knocking on the door.
I open up to see Cara standing in front.
Her eyes were bore into mine,
They're different from before,
They don't have those sparks when she sees me and her lips forming a smile or smirk.
Now she stared at me , she's intimidating.
I bowed my head and whispered
"Come in"

I looked for Kylie but she's not with her.

"Where's Kylie?" I asked her awkwardly.

"She's still at school, she said she will follow after she got dismissed " she said switching the tv on.

"But why? What happened?" I asked her confused, maybe this still have something to do with her absences.

"I don't know " she answered like she don't give a shit.

I was starting to get annoyed on how she's acting.
But I think I deserved this.
But she's acting like she don't give a fuck to my sister and it gets to my nerves.

I kept my mouth shut .

I'm at the kitchen preparing for my snacks.
Should I ask her if she wants some?
Maybe no, I don't want to lead her on.
But she's still our guest.

"Shit!" I gasped in pain,
I cut my finger. Oh gooddd, it's bleeding.

I saw the blood gushing on my fingers.

Cara stood up quickly on the couch and rushed into me.
"What happened!?" She exclaimed, worried was all over her face.
Her eyes widens when she saw my finger bleeding.
She held it and put it one her mouth,
She sucked it and looked at me.
I gasped loudly from her actions.

I standstill watching her, my heart is starting to race.
I was so shocked from her action.
Her eyes met mine while she's sucking my fingers.
Millions of butterflies were playing on my stomach,

"Stop sucking it Cara, go get the health kit" I managed to let out even my voice is shaking.

She looked at me, and simply nodded.

I put my hand on my chest,

I like her , I really do, but I don't want to see Kylie being hurt.
I hate seeing Cara sad, I hate it when I pushed her away.
Every night I've been crying my eyes out.
When I told her I'm in love with Niall,

She came into my sight again.

I collected myself , she held my hand and place some cotton balls with alcohol

"Why do you have to be so clumsy" she muttered,
I rolled my eyes,

She put a gauze and taped it.

She looked at me and my eyes catch hers.
She stared at me,
Those eyes, I really love them when they stared at me like that.
3 words slips carelessly on my mouth.

"I miss you" I whispered,

Her eyes widens, before I came out with an excuse,

Her lips met mine,
Automatically my arms wrapped around her neck and I kissed her back.
That's when I realized Kylie will be here any minute.

I pull away from her, were both catching our breath.
"I'm sorry" she said quietly,

I bit my lip " me too"

I can't look at her,

"I think we should keep this from Kylie " she said to me,
I turned to her,

But she's smirking right now,

"Why are you looking at me like that?" I asked her

"I thought you're really In love with Niall " she said
"You got me there but I forgot you're My Kenny Love, you love to play hard to get"
"I'm sorry for giving up easily, I know you like me too so much,
But you're a coward, if you can't fight for me, then I'll fight for the both of us"
"I will not stop till you admit you're in love with me" Cara said,

I'm blushing right now, my heart is racing,

" I don--" but she cut me off,

She shook her head, the smile on her face was back,

"I won't believe your words anymore because you're heart is saying something more"
She said. "You're mouth can lie, but you're heart never lie Kenny"

I bit my lip, I can't even face her from embarrassment.

She kissed my forehead,
"We're friends again"

She's smiling and walked back to the living room.
That's when the doorbells rings.

I composed myself again, Cara took my breath away from what she said.
I really want her.
I opened the door revealing mom.

"I'm so sorry honey, I'm late" mom sighed,
She looked so tired,

"Hi Kyla" I heard Cara called,

"Caraaaa" said mom while looking at me knowingly,while walking to Cara,

"What?" I mouthed to her,

"Nice to see you again Cara" mom said kissing Cara's cheeks.

"You too," said Cara, smiling

"Where's Kylie?" Mom asked her

"She said she need to do something after class , I told her that I will wait for her but she said I can come here first" Cara explained,

Mom looked at me, then to Cara.

"Hmmm, I see, " mom said
"I'm just gonna change then I'll prepare the dinner"

"I'll help you mom" I said to her,
She just nod

"Me too" Cara said,

"Ok ok kids, I'll just change my clothes" she said
"I forgot, we also need to talk, that's why I invited you here Cara"
Then she turned to her room.

I looked at Cara shocked,
"Do you think she knows something?" I asked her

"She saw me giving you hickies then now Kylie is sleeping over to my house, what do you think love" she smirked

"Don't call me that, " I was blushing now, she stopped calling me that pet name ,

"Calling you what?" She asked innocently.

"Love" I hissed at her,

"Yes love?" She asked again innocently,
She's teasing me,

I looked at her annoyed and she's controlling her laugh,

Mom went down the stairs again,

"I'm back," she announced,

"Did you behave kids?" She joked,

I rolled my eyes,

"Yes mom" Cara answered childishly,

She looked so cute when she do that, I can't help a smile forming on my lips.

"Finally your happy again Kenny, what happened to you in these past few days?" Mom asked,

Oh no here we go,,,

"Yea Kenny, what happened to you?" Cara looked at me amused,

She's loving this,

"Just got a little problem with Niall" I answered them,

The smirked on Cara's face was gone and she's sending me deadly glares.

I'm the one who's smirking now.

"How about you Cara, I see that you're hanging out more with Kylie now" mom asked.

"Well yeah, Kendall is so busy with her boyfriend, she forget about me" she said,

I turned to her shocked,

"That's not true" I said to her

"Yes it is"

"No it's not"

"Yes it is"

"No it's not" I hissed at her

Mom looked at us amused,

"Don't need to be defensive, we understand your situation " mom said,

I looked at her unbelievably,
Cara is smirking again,

I glared at her,

"While Kylie is not here, it's a good time I talked to the both of you,
I know you like each other, but I just don't understand why the both of you are dragging other people
To your love and hate relationship, it's so clear that you two are made for each other,
I just don't understand why the both of you can't just be together" mom asked

My mouth is hanging open while Cara lowered her head and avoided eye contact.

I'm about to protest but mom cut me off,

"No Kendall, I told you to fix this, but by the looks of it, it's just getting worse" mom said,

I kept my mouth shut,

"I'm sorry Kyla, Kendall can't fix it that's why I'm taking over" Cara said forcing a smile,

My mom nods her head,

"I'll count on you Cara" mom said hugging her,

"Thanks Kyla" Cara said

I looked at them

"Do I have a say on this?" I asked them

They both shook their head and laugh.

Maybe I'm adopted and Cara is my mothers real daughter.

Dinner was filled with funny stories and laughter.

Cara looked at her watched, she called someone but by the looks of it he/she didn't answered.

She looked at us worried,

"It's late and Kylie is still not here, she's not answering her phone" she announced worriedly,

mom worried expression was all over her face,

"Oh my god, where is she!?" She asked,

"Mom relaxed , we will find her" I turned to Cara and she nods.

"You wait here, I promised we will bring Kylie home" I said to her and hugged her.

Cara is waiting outside . I get my jacket and follow her.

KYLIE

I've been banging the doors for hours,
I looked at my cellphone and it's off.
Shit!
My hands hurts from banging the door and my throat hurts for calling for help for hours.

"Stopped it!" The nerd snapped,
I looked at her and she looked at me annoyed,
"It's useless! There's no one in the building"  she rolled her eyes and continue to read a book.

"What do you want me to do? Sit there? And what ? read a book like you? " I snapped at her,

She looked backed at me again,
She's glaring at me,

"Know what? This is all your fault! If I didn't follow you here! I wouldn't be locked with you!" I exclaimed at her

She's still staring at me,
She closed the book, and she stood up from the sink and started to walk towards me.

I gulped, she's still staring at me,

"Wha-what do you want?" I stuttered, my heart is pounding so fast,

"I want you to shut the hell up" she whispered, and she's smirking like a crazy villain.

"Please stop, noooo!" I yelled as the lights go off,

I continue to scream , kick and punch.
I won't let her kill me ! I'm not weak!

But she grasp both of my hands,

I continue to scream,
Until tears roll down my face,
I'm sobbing now,

"Please don't kill me" I sobbed

"Geez, what the hell is wrong with you!?"  The nerd said, I can't see her it's still dark.

She's holding my hands on my back, I can feel the warmth of her body against mine.

"I thought you're gonna murder me" I sobbed,

"Shhhh.. Calm down, I'm not gonna hurt you" she said her voice was so soothing,

I leaned my eyes against her shirt,
Our position is like she's hugging me, except for the fact that she's still holding my hands from my back,

"My hands..." I said ,my voice trembles,

"Oh I'm sorry, you're so violent, I'm just fooling around, I didn't know that lights would switch off" she said
She let go of my hand, but she's still infront of me, holding me lightly,

"Are you ok now?" She asked again,

"Yes, I'm sorry" I whispered,

"No I should be the one to apologize, didn't mean to scare you that way" she said,

"Just don't do it again" I said to her,

She let go of me,but I hold her shirt,
I'm scared of the dark,

"You're such a kid" she said teasing, but she didn't remove my hand

I kept my mouth shut,

She sat down the floor and I'm still holding her shirt.

"Oh come on, sit with me, I know this is a cr, millions of bacteria everywhere but I don't want to stand all night long"
She said to me,

Yea she's right, my heels either are not helping.
I removed them and sat with her.

"You Happy now?" I said to her,

"Why would I be happy?" She asked confused,

I rolled my eyes,

"Never mind, just be quiet" I snapped at her,

It's too cold,, my eyes are closing , and my head is falling from sleepiness,

I felt her arm wrapped around me,

"Whaaaat are--?" I said but she cut me off,

"Shhhhhhh, goodnight" she said sleepy,

She pulled me to her and hugged me, she placed my head on her shoulder.
I can feel my heart racing,
I bit my lip, she's so close to me,
I can't see if she's still awake but my body was paralyzed.
Her face was so closed to me I can feel her breathe on me,

I forced my eyes to close,
Calm your hormones Kylie,
I said to myself,

Her breathing is so peaceful, maybe she fell asleep.
I gave in to my sleepiness, and drifted to sleep.
