FIFTHTEEN

SCOTLAND, QUIDDITCH ARENA.

Ron and y/n went up to the stadium in the quidditch arena, the two greeted Neville until they both sat down. A couple months ago was the Quidditch match between Gryffindor and Slytherin not too long ago where Harry fell off his broom and broke his arm, Lockheart used a spell wrong on him which made his bones disappear.

"Hermione!" Ron suddenly yelled. Y/n turned around to the entrance of the seating area and didn't see her bushy brown haired friend.

"Where?" Y/n asked room, as Ron looked at y/n uneasily.

"She's not here that why today feels weird," he told her and y/n nodded in agreement. "Probably because she's not rambling in our ears about the next potions exam," Ron then trailed off hearing a stifled giggle come from y/n.

"Due to sudden circumstances, today's quidditch match has been cancelled," the megaphone called as both Hufflepuff and Gryffindor houses groaned, Ron and y/n walked downstairs together, y/n often had a conversation with Neville about herbology since they both had a slight passion for it.

"Mr Weasley and Miss Potter," Mcgonagall called as they reached the bottom of the stadium. Harry was standing behind her in his Quidditch uniform.. "Come with me please," she told them, y/n turned to Neville and waved at him as Neville copied, walking out with dean and seamus.

Mcgonagall almost jogged towards the castle and up the towers, y/n was close on her feet, something bad must have happened seeing as they were all heading up to the hospital wing.

"I will warn you, this'll be a wee bit of a shock," Professor McGonagall told the three as they all moved over to a certain bed, her scroll against her chest and her glasses against her nose as Madame promfery stood in her uniform; a long maroon dress that reached to her ankles and the sleeves cuffed at the wrists. A white apron that wrapped around her waist and the hem stopped at her knees, fitted with a white hat that arched over the crown of her head.

The person who laid on top of the sheets had traditional muggle school shoes on with grey socks that reached her shins and her pleated grey skirt fell back on the bed. Her hogwarts jumper and tie neatly tucked inside to skirts, the robes fell back like her skirt as her knees where bent slightly her arm stood Infront of her shocked expression. The familiar bushy brown mane of hair, it would be hard for the three not to recognise her.

"Hermione," y/n whimpered and rushed to the girls side. She reached to her raised hand and felt how her touch was as cold as ice.

"All students to their common rooms, all staff to the third floor," a speaker announced through the Hogwarts halls. Gaining Ron, Harry and y/n's attention as they were heading back to their common room from visiting Hermione in the hospital wing later that day, making the three students to turn on their heel and peg it to the exact location of where Professor McGonagall had called to.

"Sorry I dozed off, what did I miss?" Lockhart announced cheerily. Y/n, Harry and Ron's head peeking from the corner to see every staff excluding the Headmaster inside of the hallways, a bloodied message written onto the castle walls.

"Ah, Lockheart you seemed to show up right on time, wasn't you saying last night you knew the exact location of the Chamber of Secrets all along?" Snape questioned, as Lockhearts eyes bulged, turning from His coworker to the wall.

"Ah yes," he mumbled, unsure what to say, readable against his face. "I'll uh," he paused, his eyes darted back to the red message before looking away, shivering. "I'll be in my office, getting ready," Gilderoy smiled to them, turning on his heel back to where he had come from.

"Who is it the monsters taken Minerva?" Madame promfery asked the woman next to her, both staff members still in uniform. Professor Snape stood beside them, his greasy black hair out of his face and he held his black robes back behind him.

"Ginny Weasley," McGonagall sighed. Harry Ron and y/n stood behind a wall enough to see the blood on the walls which read in its thick red writing.

'Her skeleton will lie in the chamber forever'.

Y/n put her hand over her mouth trying to release the loud gasp she anticipated, she spotted Rons face quickly change after hearing his younger sisters name.

McGonagall and Snape took one last look at the writings as all staff headed towards the end of the corridor and luckily none stumbled past the three who peeked behind the corner, star struck at the letters written against the wall.

"Her skeleton will lie in the chamber forever..." Ron repeated, all the three did was stand there, stuck in a trance. "Ginny," he whispered to himself.

"We need to go to lockheart, now," y/n stepped forward and turned to the boys.

"Are you mad? he doesn't have a bloody clue what he's doing!" Ron told her, and she quickly grabbed the side of his robe.

"Do you want to find your sister or what?" She said through her teeth, which he quickly nodded at.

"Y/n's right, let go to his office now," Harry announced and began to run ahead, y/n let go of Rons Gryffindor robes and they began to jog to the dense against the dark arts classroom. "Lockheart may be useless but we need to find a way Into the chamber, at least we can tell him what we know!" He yelled as the three burst into his office watching as the man rapidly throwing his robes and shoes into his trunk, without folding anything. He was definitely in a rush. "Professor we have some information for you!" Harry yelled and the teacher turned slamming his trunk shut. The three analysed the room carefully.

"Are you going somewhere?" Y/n asked the man, completely infuriated. she could feel her chest heave up and down, not sure if she was panting or if it was just the anger, all threes eyebrows were knotted at the front.

"Uh-yes. Emergancy call, uh I gonna go," he stammered awkwardly as he sat on his trunk.

"What about my sister?" Ron bellowed afterwards.

"Well um," he began and stood up to check his other trunks. "Most out of doubt unfortunate, no one regrets more than I," he said and side stepped towards his desk and gathered up some files and papers.

"You're the defence against the dark arts teacher!" Ron announced, you could the anger in his voice, his chin poked forwards and his lips turned thin. "You can't go now!" He yelled.

"Well I must say, when I took my job. Though there was nothing in the job tha-" he rambled snatching a strawberry blonde wavy wig from a mannequin head and shoved into a seperate bag as the twins stood infront of him, pausing his vent.

"You're running away?" Harry questioned sternly. "After all that stuff you did in those books?" He questioned the man, y/n crossed her arms angerily.

"Books can be misleading," he replied, broadening his chest.

"You wrote them!" Harry beckoned.

"Oh boy why could t you use your common sense! My books wouldn't sell half as well if I done all those things!" He yelled flailing his arms around like an ape. Y/n's face overflowed with fury.

"You're a fraud, you've just been taking credit for what other wizards have done!" Y/n yelled at him, all the people he brainwashed into thinking he was a good man, the girls who fancied him all of them were lies by the books he'd written. He stood there staring at the Potter twins.

"Is there anything you can do?" Ron asked the grown man.

"Yes now you've mentioned it. I've been gifted with memory charms, otherwise you would've seen all those wizards gone blabby, and I would if never sold another book," he mentioned and y/n watch him let out a sigh and turn around, she quickly wiped out her wand behind his back. "Now I'm afraid...I'll have to do the same to you!" He said and once his back turned y/n's wand was almost against his throat and the two boys behind her doing the same.

"I would even think about it," Ron told the man as he stood there defensively. Harry twiddled his wand, directing the teacher to drop his...which he did.
