Two Days.......Y/N had only Two Days to help Twilight Sparkle with becoming the Princess of The Fall Formal to get back her crown. Now he had done some way riskier and nearly impossible stuff before in his life for survival...but helping basically a newbie win against someone who's been here for a long time and has nearly everyone under their thumb, was definitely going to be a challenge. After the talk with Celestia and Luna, the two had went to the gym to talk to Pinkie Pie, who was the head planner in charge of the Fall Formal. It didn't take long, and when Twilight was registered in, Pinkie began to flirt with Y/N right in front of Twilight. Luckily for Twilight Applejack showed up....only for her to flirt with Y/N as well. That caused Applejack and Pinkie to argue against each other, so Y/N grabbed Twilight and booked it out of there. It was now lunchtime and Twilight and Y/N were sitting down, with Y/N having his head on the table trying to think of a plan.

Y/N: Ok....I got nothing.

Twilight: Well there has to be something that can help us. Maybe we can try a library?

Y/N: Well there is a school library here. Maybe there's something there.

Twilight: *smiles* Perfect.

As the two were in a conversation, Fluttershy came over with her own tray of food.

Fluttershy: H-Hi Y/N.

Y/N: *smiles* Hey Flutters.

Fluttershy: *blushes and smile* M-Mind if I join you two?

Y/N: Go right ahead.

Fluttershy then started to talk to Twilight about new going around that she was running for Princess of the Fall Formal, as that happened Y/N started to think about Twilight's "competition". Y/N knew that once Sunset found out about Twilight running against herm that she'd probably try to do something dirty to make he win at ANY cost. As he kept thinking on how to prevent any of that, he was suddenly tackled out of his seat...by a pink blur which happened to be none other than Pinkie Pie.

Pinkie Pie: Hey Y/N~.

Y/N: *coughs* Ya know Pink...I thought I'd get used to all of your surprises, but you always seem to catch me off guard.

Pinkie Pie: Aww, thank you~.

Rarity: Get off my darli- I-I mean Y/N this instant Pinkie!

Y/N's Mind: And here we go again.

Just like that Rarity, Applejack, and Rainbow Dash showed up all together an all of a sudden, them, plus Fluttershy and Pinkie were all fighting again. As Twilight tried to stop them, she looked for Y/N to help...only to see him leaving the cafeteria. Twilight was surprised by this and went after him.

Twilight: Y/N! Where are you going? We need to stop them.

Y/N: *sighs with his back towards her* Believe me Twilight.....I've tried....so MANY times. They always get like this when they get together. No matter what I do they always just keep fighting.

Twilight: But they need our help! They-

Y/N: Ok, let me stop you right there. You can't help someone if they refuse help. I know from personal experience here. Whenever I was in the other schools when I was younger, I'd always try to help those who I thought were my friends....only to get yelled at or insulted or have them make up and blame me for THEIR problems....*sighs* at this point...I'm done trying to help others that don't want it.

Twilight: *comfortly grabs his shoulder* Y/N, I know it might be hard, but please believe me. Those five girls...they're all my friend from my world, and seeing their human versions fight, there's got to be a reason for that.

Y/N: Well...let's see if there's in anything in the library.

Twilight then hugged Y/N which once again caught him off guard. Luckily no one saw Y/N blush up a storm, but he quickly shook it off and got out of it. As the two made it in with Spike secretly hidden in Twilight's backpack, they saw the librarian Ms. Cherie

Y/N: Hey Ms. Cherie.

Cherie: *blushes as she sees Y/N* Oh, H-Hello there Y/N. What can I do for you?

Y/N: I have a friend here who needs to use one of the computers. Is it alright if I show her how to use it?

Cherie: Sure, go right ahead.

As Y/N took Twilight to the back and helped her on how to use the computer, he noticed a little way down three certain girls that always  kept him on his toes, and were always trying to hang out with him or were always trying things that made them go to the hospital...but luckily Y/N was there to save them. Those three happen to be Scootaloo, Applebloom, and Sweetie Bell, otherwise known as The Cutie Mark Crusaders. 

While Twilight was fascinated with how the technology in front of her, Y/N decided to say hello.

Y/N: *smirks* Well if it isn't my three favorite crusaders.

The three turned around and instantly pounced on Y/N and took him down. When he was down they all started to laugh as Y/N easily got back up with the three girls hanging on him laughing.

Y/N: *chuckles* So how are you three little dudettes doing?

Scootaloo: We're doing great Y/N!

Applebloom: Yeah, we were just about to upload our latest video online.

Sweetie Bell: We can't wait to see what everyone says about it.

Y/N: *chuckles* Well good luck with that, but remember... the internet can be cruel as it is cool. Don't take anything negative too serious. There might be those who have only negativize things to say, but just don't pay attention to them and focus on the positives. You three got that?

Cutie Crusaders: *thumbs up * We got it!

Y/N the saw Twilight looking up stuff in the internet, he thought she was doing fine.... till she saw that she was about to go on an Adult Website.

Y/N: Hold up!

Y/N barely stopped her from pressing it, and quickly got her off there and helped her look up stuff about the school, all while blushing and refusing to tell Twilight what happened. Luckily before Twilight cold make him tell her, he found something interesting about Twilight's friends.

Y/N: Hey look at this.

As Y/N showed Twilight, she saw that it was a picture of Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy, Rarity, Applejack, and Rainbow Dash smiling together.

Y/N: They all look so happy with each other back then.......what the heck happened that made those five fight each other?

Twilight: Maybe if we keep digging we can find something.

Y/N left Twilight to go to the restroom really quick, and when he was done with his business, he saw Sunset's two little goons hiding under the table recording Twilight. Not having any of that, Y/N quietly got behind the two...and quickly grabbed their feet and dragged them out like a Horror Movie.

Snips/Snails: AHHHHH!!!!

Y/N: Shhhhhhh!!!! We're in a Library.

Snips/Snails: Oh sorry...*quietly screams* Ahhhhhhh!

Y/N: Now that's more like it. Now....wanna tell me why you're recording the new girl?

Snips: *whispering while still hanging upside down* W-Who says we were recording her, heh heh*sweating*

Y/N just raised a eyebrow in doubt which made the two start to squirm and become even more nervous. Finally one of them caved.

Snails: *whispers* Ok ok! Sunset put us up to it! She wanted us to see if we could find anything on the new girl.

Y/N: *deadly serious tone*Phone...now.

The boys gave Y/N the phone they were using and once it was in Y/N's hand, he instantly crushed it to bits and pieces.

Y/N: Now, unless you two wanna end up like the phone, go back and tell Sunset that she won't win this time by cheating. 

The two quickly nodded their heads like shooked up bobble heads. Y/N dropped them and they quickly ran out just as Twilight was down with the computer.

Twilight: Everything alright Y/N?

Y/N: Yeah, just had to deal with some "pests", that's all.

As Y/N said that the final bell of the day rung signaling the end of school for the day.

Y/N: Well schools over for now.

Twilight: Oh! Well in that case thank you for all your help today Y/N. I'll see you tomorrow 

Y/N: Uh....Twilight....what are you doing?

Twilight: W-Well since I have no where to go I figured I'd stay here in the library*smiles*. I've done it before.

Y/N............yeah not happening.

Twilight: Wuh?

Y/N then went to Twilight and picked her up and put her over her shoulder. He then began to walk out of the school.

Twilight: *surprised* Y-Y-Y/N?! What are you doing!?

Y/N: I'm not gonna just let someone like yourself stay here at school and sleep here for the night.

Twilight: But I don't want to be a bother I-

Y/N: Just zip it Princess. My mind is made up and that's that. I've had to sleep in a couple schools before and I got either arrested or made fun of for that crap and besides I know somewhere you can crash for a few days. 

Twilight: W-Where?

Y/N: My place.

Twilight: What?!

Y/N: Don't bother, you can stay in one of my spare rooms for tonight and tomorrow, simple as that.

Y/N was now out and in front of his ride. He then put Twilight down and opened the side door for her. Twilight wanted to argue with Y/N, but once she stared into his eyes, it was if something came over her and she carefully got in. When she was finally in, Y/N let her choose some music to listen to while he started the car and they took off. As she went through the different channels, she finally heard a song she liked.

As the music played, Twilight started to move her head to the beat. Y/N couldn't help but smile at that, but once he saw Spike on her lap smirking at him, he went back to normal and gave Spike the "Shush" sign. The drive was nice and quiet all the way till they made it to Y/N's driveway.

Twilight: Wow, you have a nice home.

Y/N: *parks the car in the drive-way*Thanks.

Twilight: While I appreciate it Y/N what will your parents think?

Y/N:......About that...*sighs*

Y/N sat there in the driver's seat for a while just looking at the steering wheel, he finally took a deep breath and closed his eyes before he answered her.

Y/N: I....don't have any parents.

Twilight: *shocked* I....I-I'm so sorry I-

Y/N: Hey don't be....

Twilight: If it's not too much....what happened?

Y/N thought about what he should tell her. Even though he literally just met this girl who apparently is a pony, he felt like she was one of the few he could actually talk to...so with that said, he got out of the car and helped Twilight out and began to tell her as they got to the house.

Y/N: *opens the door to the house* Well....you see to shorten up a long sad crappy life story, My actual parents apparently left me at an orphanage...and growing up, I found that it was a really harsh shady orphanage where it was survival for the fittest and everyone for themselves. At the age of six I left and never looked back. For a few months I was on the streets and had to scavenge for anything to eat, that was until the cops found me and transferred me to a different orphanage. It was just a shady as the first, so I left after a few months. From there it was always a game of hide and seek on how I could ditch the police.*closes the door and goes and sits on a sofa* That went on for almost a year, but they got smart and waited for me to leave for food, from there they took me and actually put me in a boarding school when I was nine. Yeah...I was definitely a huge target for bullying, asult, harassment, and a whole lot worse. Of course just like the orphanages I didn't stay long and booked it to another city, then another, then another. Always changing foster homes, boarding schools, regular schools, heck I was once transferred into a Boot Camp, a Covenant, and even Juvenal Hall! Which happens to be a young kids prison by the way. Years go by and I finally get fed up with everyone's bullshit so I start to defend myself and train my body and my...skills...and start to not only defend, but also fight back. I thought this was how my life was going to be forever...till one day I find out a case worker that happens to be for me, tells me that my biological parents have passed away and left me a house in my name....this house to be precise. It's all payed for with everything in it including the furniture, the vehicles, and all the rest of the stuff. I was even left money to get food. There was only one catch and that was that I had to go to one more school and graduate from there....and that happens to be Canterlot High School.

As Twilight listened to Y/N's story, she couldn't believe that people could be so cruel and treat someone like Y/N in so many horrible ways. She started to tear up and felt really bad for Y/N. Yet as she took a good look at Y/N she saw that he was trying to not show any emotions and was trying to hold back all of his pain. She didn't want Y/N to feel like that any longer, but didn't know what to do...so she decided to do something she did know. She got up from her seat, sat close to Y/N, scooted closer to him, then wrapped her arms around him and gave him a big hug. As she started to hug Y/N, he was shocked once again and slowly started to accept it and put his arms around her. The two stayed there like that for a while. There was no noise, no voices, no movement. Y/N felt something he hadn't for a long time...and that was warmth. Not the temperature kind, but the kind you feel like when you're in a safe place, or with someone that makes you feel special. As they slowly separated they looked into each others eyes. Suddenly they started to come closer face to face, and just as their lips were about to touch, Y/M instantly opened his eyes and stopped Twilight.

Y/N: Listen, i-it's starting to get pretty late and w-we got a big day tomorrow so...

Twilight: O-Of course, I-I'll let you be.

Y/N then showed Twilight to one of the spare rooms that he had.

After he let her settle in, Y/N went back to the living room and went to the piano he had in a corner. As he sat down, an old memory came back to him that reminded him of a moment in his life where he actually had a true friend. He thought he had two, but the male that was supposedly a friend left him in the dust for popularity....while a female friend stayed true to the end...till she couldn't take it anymore. So, Y/N sat at the piano and played a song on how he felt.

As he got into the song, he began to sing the lyrics, and when he was done playing and singing, a single tear fell down his face.

Spike: Wow.....

That made Y/N jump a little and as he turned to Spike and quickly wipe away the tear.

Y/N: O-Oh, hey there Spike. I didn't know you were up still. I-I didn't wake you did I?

Spike: Actually I couldn't really sleep. So when I heard a piano playing, I got curious and saw you playing. You're really good at it.

Y/N: Heh, thanks.

Spike: Can I ask....who was it for?

Y/N: What was what for?

Spike: The song.

Y/N: Oh....well you remember when I said I moved from school to school?

Spike: Uh-huh.

Y/N: Well at one of the schools, I actually had one good true friend. The problem though...was that she had cancer. Me and her would always be with each other till the very end of the day when she went home to her parents, and I went to an old shack where I was hiding from another foster home. As time went one, the other kids were ass-I mean Jerks to me and her and well...they did something that ...made her end her life early....I was so upset...so angry that something in me...snapped. That day all the school became very afraid of me and for a good reason. That's when I knew I had to move to somewhere else, and so...I left.

Spike: *feeling awful* I-I'm sorry I-

Y/N: Why? You didn't make her kill herself....But yeah, after that no one ever wanted to be near me or just didn't want to even see me. I was a major loner after that, and I basically gave up on trying to make any friends.

Spike: Is that why you're doing that to Twilight and the other girls? You don't want to become their friends?

Y/N: W-Well not like that. I do want to....it's... it's just I don't know if I want to put myself out there...I'm at a point where I don't want get hurt again...I've been used, beaten, harassed, and so much worse...so many times. I can't really trust anybody, I don't like asking for help for myself, I barely can handle being around others without having to be paranoid of them 24/7.

Spike: Well...I know we just met and all, but I can tell ya without a shadow of a doubt that you can trust Twilight. She's helped so many in our world, and even raised me with love nd friendship ever since I was an egg. If you want to start trusting others, Twilight be a really great start.

Y/N: Thanks Spike...I'll think about it.

Spike: Cool. Maybe later on you can tell her that you like her too~.

Y/N: *blushes* W-W-What?! I-I don't l-like her.

Spike: *rolls his eyes and smirks* Suuure.

Y/N: B-Besides someone like Twilight wouldn't like a Monster like me.

Spike: You're not a monster Y/N.

Y/N: Spike.....if you knew about some of the things that I've had to do....you yourself would think I was one.

Spike: But what-

Y/N: I'd rather not talk about that right now. How about you go and be with Twilight alright.

Spike was reluctant at first but started to head back to Twilight with his head hung low...only to rise it to see her quietly hiding up on the stairs without saying another word, they quietly went back to the room. As the two started to talk about on how they could help Y/n with whatever he was facing, Y/N was just thinking about that if he got involved too much in anyone's lives that it would be nothing but trouble. There were still some things no one knew about him, that if he had to, he would take to his grave. As he started to get deeper into thought, he decided to play another song, but just play and not sing.

 As Y/N thought about the song, he thought about if it was worth it to keep going to the school just to actually a finally have a place and not have to pay rent. But that was for another time to think like that, for now he needed to plan a way to get back Fluttershy, Applejack, Pinkie Pie, Rarity, and Rainbow Dash to be friends again.
