Caitlin pov
I sighed and looked at Mikoto. We seemed to be in agreement. I relaxed against Izu.
" Sorry but no." Xi looked shocked as did her two bodyguards.
" We can't give up our thrones so easily. There's no point." Izu chuckled and kissed my ear. Totsuka smiled.
" That's our queen." Mikoto sat up and spoke.
" She's right. We won't give up our throne." I gave a apologetic smile at my friend.
" I'm sorry Xi but no deal. We'll find a way to fix everything but if we give up then the slates will just choose someone else. I'd rather them not put anyone in danger. Tell Reisi to worry about his own clan for a bit. We'll be fine." Xi nodded and hugged me.
" I'll be in contact." She left. I sighed and curled into Izumo's embrace.
" You sure?" I nodded my head.
" Definitely."

Mikoto pov
I had a small smile as I watched Cait and Izumo cuddling. Izumo spoke.
"Looks like we have to look for a way to fix you both." Cait smiled. " Yeah. We'll find a way." I smirked.
" Of course we will." Izumo mouthed a thank you to me. I nodded. I knew he loved Cait a lot and wanted her safe. But something was bothering me.
" Cait." She looked at me.
" That girl. The blue queen. What's she like?"
" Hmmm? Well she's kind and gentle but stubborn. She cares so much about others that sometimes I wonder if she pays attention to herself. Honestly I worry that's gonna get her hurt one day. But she has a good head on her shoulders. She cares deeply for others and never wants to see them hurt. Why are you so curious?"
"Yeah Mikoto. Why so curious?" Izumo asked with a smirk. Totsuka was grinning big time.
" No real reason." I said than closed my eyes and pretended to sleep.

Kusanagi pov
I shook my head at my friend. Cait noticed and looked at me confused.
" It's nothing." She didn't look convinced so I smiled and kissed behind her ear.
" Don't worry about it love." I felt her shiver than she sighed.
" Stubborn." I noticed Tatara looking worried. Cait spoke up.
" Easy Tatara. We'll be fine." He looked at her than smiled.
" Yeah. It will be fine." I shook my head. The kid could be very reckless. I pulled Cait closer and then noticed Tatara had his camera out and pointed at us. I waved a bit while Cait smirked and stuck her tongue out. I chuckled at my girlfriend's behavior. Cait weaved her fingers through mine and closed her eyes.
" Okay sleepy head. Maybe you should get some rest."
" Not gonna happen." Just then the boys came in.

Caitlin pov
I sighed as the boys were noisy as ever.
" Kusanagi-san! Why did we have to leave?!" Yata asked.
" Cool it Yata. We wanted you all out of here." Mikoto and I exchanged a look. We were in agreement. I nodded at Izumo.
" The blue queen stopped by for a visit."
" Huh?!" The boys yelled.
"Hold on! Why was a blue here?!"
" Yeah!" I cleared my throat.

We explained everything.
" Wait. You're saying that the blue king wants you two to give up your throne?"
" Why?!"
" Yeah! Why would he want that?!" I sighed.
" Quiet down! How many times do I have to tell you no yelling in the bar?!" Izu said. They quieted down. I sighed and stood up.
" Look. I'm not too happy that he sent my close childhood friend here to try and persuade me. But it doesn't matter. Let's focus on other things."
" Yeah. Like finding a solution to our little problem." Tatara said. I sighed. We definitely needed to find a solution to our little problem.

Three weeks later
Three weeks had passed since Xi had come and things between the blue and red clans were getting tense. I knew it was only a matter of time before the tension escalated.

Today I was in the bar with Anna, Tatara, and Izumo. We were just relaxing when my PDA rang with a emergency alarm. Shit. I got the location and went with the others. Mikoto went with us.

When I arrived I saw the blues causing issues. I activated my sanctum and went up. Reisi came up with Xi. Mikoto was on one side of me while Izu was on the other side. Anna was in between me and Mikoto and holding onto both of us.
" Well well. Looks like Homra is causing issues again."
" Says the person whose clan no doubt started this mess." I snapped back at Reisi. Reisi smirked.
"As violent as ever."
" Go to hell." I spat out. Izumo kept close to me giving my physical comfort but not touching me in case I needed to activate my sanctum fully. Mikoto spoke.
" Totsuka."
" I got it." Tatara came up and drew Anna away.
" What do you want Munakata?" Mikoto asked.
