December 31

I woke with a sound of screaming. When I opened I eyes I found Shresta , Viju uncle's daughter. It's 10:30am and I was still sleeping like there's no tomorrow. Of course holidaying for me means wake up late, no breakfast , only lunch.

When she woke me up, she came running all through the way and sat at my stomach. It was still a blurry for me. Yesterday night I slept little late ,I was watching Frozen movie. I love animated movies.

Then came my sister Shruthi, she was so fresh. It means I was the last person to wake up. I asked Shresta, when she came, she told just now.

I kissed her and she kissed my cheeks and started playing with it . I told her , I'll go to bath. But , she denied it and wasn't allowing me to go. Then with so much of telling she stood up.

I went to bath and came back less than five minutes. My aunt and my mom's brother everyone were watching TV.

I wore a legging and a top and made half boiled egg and started eating with bread. Then came Shresta who watches first person to taste.

I had it and sat with them. Then , my mom called me.

" What mom?"

"You know what Pranita is in the call?"

I rushed towards her and took the phone. It's been forty-eight hours we didn't talk to each other. I went outside the home.

"Hi, Patti!"
"Hello!"
"What doing ?"
" I woke up just now Patti."
" O . My house is full of people, having fun. I had breakfast and playing with Shresta."
" Cool!"
"So, what's the matter you ranged me up?"
"Just missing your chatter!"
"Really?"
" Why would i
I with my friend?"

" Hmmm."

"So what are the plans tonight?"
"Nothing much Sam. Eat and sleep."
"You won't be awake? I want to wish you at 12:00."
" No, I guess."
" We all are going to play different kind of games and cut a cake and dance and have fun."
"That's awesome."
",Okay , bye! Advance happy new year Sam!"
"Thank you Pranita and same to you."

With that I was back with my family. I don't know where we'll slept watching the movie and I woke up at 2pm all were sleeping and I was hungry. I slowly carried Shresta who was in a very good sleep and kept her in the bed. I put two pillows side by side, turn on the fan.

I went to the kitchen I put some rice and had with chicken curry. Maybe all these people will have it after wards. U had very fastly and slept on the bed.

Again I woke up at 6 . All were awake now, Shresta went to bring us some snacks. I washed my face and drank some milk. It was almost getting dark at 6 as it was winter.

All were happy and I was on cloud nine. I sat on the terrace listening to my favorite songs . Shresta was back so I got down and started having snacks. We played a game of telling moving names. You'll have two groups.

I, Vijay and Grandma were in one team. Shruthi, Vijay uncle's wife , and my mom too on the other side. So the game is I'll give a movie name to the opposite team to one particular person and he'll have to tell that name in sign language,to their team members. There's a time limit of these minutes.

We played continuously,it was actually fun. We even for got the time. Sony was busy in mixing all ingredients of the cake . It was 9p.m. now, si we started having dinner. We have half boiled eggs with rice and some curry.

I was very much excited about rangoli. I was going to put one and Shruthi was going to put another one .

So, after eating I started searching for a good one.

I started putting the dots and my mom was bringing colours to fill them.

Shresta was playing with them to.

I liked this one and started doing it. I don't know about Shruthi . She was going on doing.

I was done with outlining amd I started colouring. It took so much time and it was 11:30 p.m. eight now. I went inside the home and Sony was almost done with cake and we kept songs and started dancing . My Grandmother and Shresta are the only one sleeping .

We are were going on dancing, having fun. Cracking jokes. Do there were 5 mor minutes. We started waking up grandma .

Finally, she woke up and the count down started

Happy new year!!!!!!

All of us shouted and hugged my mom very tightly .  We both I and my sister cut the cake and wished each and everyone placing the cake in the mouth.

I quickly messaged Patti and Bhavya. I went to sleep as I was literally tired.
