Sam's POV

I got a new name by my classmates. As Pranita was used to call patti, I am her bff then they all started calling her Satti. Replacing P and the rhyming name Satti Patti.

I got another new name which I accepted whole heartedly. I was very happy with that name. A boy Samee was even teasing Satti Patti. I couldn't stop my self and scolded him like anything that next time he can never even dare to call my name as satti.

Mostly,we used to talk in lunch. As we were going talking....

I asked her a question. Patti ,how do you manage to be a topper? Do you have gone through any incident, something which makes you feel you need to it??

Patti didn't answer to the question. As you know I never forced the one whom I loved, cared so, I remained calm.

........

The next day.......

Patti bought her a report card of her nursery class.I was obviously shocked. I was just looking at patti to tell about it.

Patti opened the report card and told yesterday you asked a question about my education no. So I will start about this by using this card.

Past..(Patti POV)

Sam when I was small I never understood what teacher was saying. I just used to cry that I just wanna go home.

Patti pointed to the first unit test marks and said as I was never interested in studying so see my marks. They were not that bad but okay.

After results, the next day in the Assembly my sister Sunandha was on the stage and all were clapping for her where my mom was happy like anything. I never saw her that happy which made me feel good. Then I asked my mother "Why are all students, teachers are clapping for my sister but not me??" Then my mother replied," your sister worked very hard and got top marks", so you should also study like that. Then you will also be called to the stage and everyone will clap for you.

And again Patti pointed to the next exams mark list. By seeing it Sam was really surprised as all subjects full marks till the last test.

Patti smiled and told this is how I started studying with interest to be well settled person in this big world sam.

Sam's POV

Do you have any child memory like this?? Patti asked me . But then maths Sir entered making Patti to wait for the answer of Sam.

Finally bell rang! Patti was happy as thousand watt bulb I  started saying.....

When I was small we used to live in an apartment in the third floor. Every morning I used to see children with uniform, bags, books,friends. As the school was just beside our apartment.

My mom used to teach me alphabets, rhymes in the afternoon. One day I asked my dad. Dad I want to go to school.

The next minute we were in the school and talking to the principal about admission. I got an admission and went to home.

My mom was waiting near the gate and asking where I have been. Then I told happily that I got an admission in Srinivasa digi school. Mom was angry that so soon I joined in the school. But later on it was OK.

I never cried to go to school. I used to wake up on time, get ready and go happily to the school. My grandfather everyday he used to buy for me a new pencil , eraser and sharpener.

My sister , she used put powder in her whole face and she used to scare me like a ghost,after my bath so, that I will be late at my school. But I was never late anyway

Patti laughed at that point. Oh!!! My Sam's school life has started like this.

I continued saying ,seeing me my sister also wanted to go to school. She also got an admission. First day, she came happily with me to the school. But from the second day till now she cries for mom and tells she don't want to go to school.

Patti told so you both are quite opposite.
