For the next week and a half, I find myself very busy. I promised my best friends I would a few days with them and them only. No boys allowed. My family came to visit as well, therefore leaving me only able to text blake, but I only send him a few texts. 

I'm laying down on my bed watching friends when my older sister, Emma, walks in and plops herself down beside me.

"You know, you really should just talk to him about it." She advises. I had told her everything that was going on with blake right when she got here, and I'm so grateful to have her help.

"I know I should but... I don't know. I'm too awkward for my own good. I would start stuttering and forget everything I was going to say. Plus, I don't even know what I'm going to say so, I'm just gonna leave it be." I sigh. 

"Come on, lani! From what I remember, blake was a good kid!"

"How would you know? First of all, we were six. Second, we barely hung out. We were just two kids that liked each other."

"But you found each other again! Plus, I bet he's way cuter now and such a gentleman."

"He is," I smirk.

"And you're obviously head over for him! I haven't even seen what the guy looks like or acts around you but from what you told me, he's head over heels for you too. So you should just talk to him."

"I don't know. Maybe when I feel comf-" I get cut off by the doorbell ringing. 

"You can stay here, I'll get it," Emma says and I thank her. I did not look decent enough to answer the door. it was eight at night and I was in short shorts with a baggy t-shirt, making it look like I had no pants on. My hair was up in a messy bun and the only make up I have on was mascara. I was also wearing my glasses, which no one knows I have besides my family and two best friends.  I looked like a tired mess. Emma pokes her head in the doorway not even a minute later.

"Someone's here for you." She says with a small smile. I sigh and get up, not caring about my appearance anymore. I walk down the stairs and stop when I see who it is. I'm shocked but I smile and continue on down the stairs until I'm met with a certain brown-eyed boy.

"Hey, Blake." I smile. I know my sister is smirking from behind my back but I choose to ignore it. 

"hey leilei." He wraps his arms around my waist and smiles back at me. "Have you been trying to avoid me?"

"No, not intentionally," I say innocently.

"Oh really?" He smirks, pulling me closer. "Then why weren't you answering any of my calls and texts?" I let his lips lightly brush mine before I push him off and run upstairs, trying to tease him.

"Because she's lying!" Emma answers blake as I run past her.

"Thanks a lot em! And I did text you a couple times, blake!"

"Anytime sis."

Blake eventually catches up, seconds before I'm about to close the door.

"You got lucky, Richardson." He gives me a cheeky grin in reply. He sits down on my bed with his, now noticed, laptop before looking at me again.

"Sorry that I look like a mess, I wasn't expecting anyone." I laugh.

"No, you look beautiful. Didn't know you had glasses, but you look amazing with them on." He smiles slightly.

"Thanks." I blush. "Sorry, were you going to say something?"

"So I've some explaining to do." Blake looks at me as I sit in my desk chair across from him, waiting for him to continue.

"I know you must be confused with me because I ghosted you for two weeks and then showed up extremely jealous and then making out with you." I nod. "Anyways, when I woke up next to you a couple of weeks ago, I couldn't believe how beautiful you were and how crazy you were making me. I went right to the studio and wrote a song about you." At this point, my hands flew up to my mouth. I couldn't believe this boy. "It only took me three hours to write an entire song because I had been thinking about you and the song for the past week. During those two weeks, I made the boys re-record it with me just to get it perfect for you. When I wasn't doing that, I was scared to talk to you. I thought you still saw me as a friend. and well... here's the song. It's called Love Again. I wanted you to be the first one to hear it." He presses a couple of buttons before the song starts to playing. I had to admit, a few tears slipped out. I couldn't believe him. He's only the boy that has ever treated me this way and I'm falling hard. when the song is over, I walk over and sit on his lap, wrapping my arms around him as I'm still crying a bit.

"Hey love, what's wrong?" He asks, worried.

"Oh, nothing. These are happy tears. I absolutely love the song. No boy has ever put in this much effort for me."

"Really? Am I the only one?" He asks and I nod. A frown appears on his face. "I promise I'll take care of you, angel." He kisses the top of my head and hugs me.

"Hey, Blake?" I pull away from the hug.

"Yes?"

"I'm in love with you." At my words, his grin was the widest I've ever seen and it makes me smile.

"Kiss me," Blake says in a hoarse whisper before licking his lips. "please." I do as he says and we're both smiling into the kiss. He pulls away slightly after a minute or two, resting his forehead on mine. 

"Leilani Bell, I'm so in love with you, I don't know what to do with myself. I've never felt this way with anyone." he pauses. "What do you say about being my girlfriend?" 

"I've been waiting for you to ask me that." I smile and kiss him for a few more minutes before getting interrupted by a knock on my door.

"Come in," I say. we both stand up as my sister walks in.

"Hey lani, we're having a movie night. Do you want to join us, Blake?"

"I would love to but I've an early morning in the studio so I should probably get home. Plus, I don't want to interrupt your family." Blake says politely and I walk him to the door.

"I'll text you." He says and gives me a quick kiss.

"Okay. Bye, I love you." I smile big, love saying those three words to him.

"Love you more!" He grins before walking out of the house. As I turn around, I am met with my smirking older sister.

"So, Blake's a lot cuter than I thought he'd be."

"I know right. Definitely got a glow-up since year three." I laugh.

"What exactly were you two talking about?" Emma interrogates me.

"Before I tell you anything, I'm getting Delilah and Indie because I'm not explaining again." I gather the girls into my room to tell them everything.

"Who was here?" Delilah asks.

"Blake." I smile.

They gasp before indie says, "Spill the tea!"

"Blake came over and he explained to me why he didn't talk to me during those two weeks and then he showed me the song he wrote for me!" Delilah and indie squeal as they jump up and down saying, "That's so romantic!" Delilah gasps, "what if he sings it at concerts!!"

"I think he will!  he said he wanted me to be the first one to hear it." They squeal more but Emma looks confused.

"catch me up on blake." 

"He's in a band called New Hope Club." At this, my sister gasps. 

"Oh my god, that's amazing!"

"After the song was over, we both admitted that we love each other, we kissed and he asked me to be his girlfriend!" I finished and we all screamed in join.

"Finally the day has come!" Indie yells and we laugh.

"What's going on here..?" Mum walks in, confused. "Also, who was that cute boy that just left?"

"Mom, do you remember blake from year from year two?"

"Of course." Mum laughs.

"Well, that was him and he just asked me to be his girlfriend." I grin like an idiot while mum's jaw dropped.

"No way that was him"

"Yes, way!" I then explain to her how we ran into each other and everything that has happened with blake.

"He sounds like a gentleman, I approve. I'm going to have to meet Blake again."

For the rest of the night, I can't stop smiling. I can't believe Blake is my boyfriend now. As I'm lying in bed thinking about everything that happened, I hear my phone quack, signalling I got a text.

B: Would you want to come into the studio tomorrow morning?

leilei: yes, of course! What time?

B: 8 am, if that works for you?

leilei: yep it does! I'm excited to see you do what you love best x

B: I'm just excited to see you. I should go to bed though, you should too.

leilei: goodnight b xx

B: goodnight leilei xx

YAY!! THEY'RE A COUPLE NOW! hope you guys enjoyed it. I have 50 chapters of this story just in the notes app on my phone so I should be updating really quickly. and my arm isn't in too much pain when I type so that's good! 

I've been listening to nhc covers while writing this while eating chocolate on a Saturday night but its a great way to spend time am I right?
