(a few weeks later)

"Blake?" i call him, needing help.

"leilei?"

"I need helppp," i say.

"With?"

"I don't know what to pack for tour and how much. Can you come over?"

"I can't come over for long because we've a lot of things to sort out before we leave tomorrow. I'll be there in five minutes."

"Thank you, you're the best."

"I know. Love you, bye." I roll my eyes at his cockiness. 

"Love you, bye." I hang up and stare at my closet, wishing it'd pack itself. I already have the basics: my laptop, books, earbuds, chargers, and toiletries. I just don't know what to do with the clothes. Indie walks in and laughs when she sees my dilemma.

"What's up?" She asks.

"I don't know how much to pack."

"Well, you'll be gone for...five to six months?" She asks and i nod.

"Okay, well you'll definitely need a lot of shirts but not too much. You can always wash your clothes. If you don't have a lot of jeans, shorts, and skirts, then just pack those. If i were you, i'd pack some cute dresses as well." She helps me with everything else and as she lists them off, i grab them from my closet and lay them down on the floor. Almost a minute later, Blake walks in.

"Hey." I smile.

"Hey, are you getting it kind of figured out?"

"Yeah, kind of. Indie was helping me."

"Okay, it looks like you've got enough pants, shorts, and skirts. I would probably get a couple more shirts and dresses. Definitely some jumpers, it'll be cold sometimes. Get five pair of shoes that match everything and obviously things to do your hair and other essentials." He says and helps me lay everything else out.

"Sadly, I've got to go already." Blake says five minutes later.

"Alright, see you tonight. Remember dinner at my parents?" 

"Of course. I'll come pick you up." He places a quick kiss on my lips before heading out the door.

Before Blake comes to pick me up, i throw on my new central perk shirt and touched up my make up. I was finished early so i decided to try reading some new hope club fanfic because i had nothing better to do. twenty minutes later, blake texts me that he's here and i run out to his car.

"Ooo i love your shirt. Is it new?' He says.

"Yup! It's so comfy too so win win." I laugh. 

i feel bad because ever since mum saw Blake leaving the day he asked me to be his girlfriend months ago, all of us having been really busy to have dinner together. I'm glad we're able to do it before we go on tour. I'm excited for mum and dad to meet Blake again, i know they'll love him.

"Mum?" I call out, walking into the kitchen.

"I'm in the kitchen!" Mum says. I could tell Blake was nervous, so i grab his hand to comfort him. 

"Don't worry B, I know mum will love you. She loved you thirteen years ago and she loves you now for making me so happy." I grin and we walk into the kitchen to see mum making dinner.

"Hey mum, i missed you." I give her a big hug.

"Hey sweetie." She kissed the top of my head before she pulls away.

"You remember Blake?" I smile, looking back at him.

"Yes, of course. Your six year old self wouldn't shut up about him, how could i forget?" She laughs and hugs Blake. "How are you?'

"Pretty fantastic, you?"

"I'm good!" Mum replies.

"Do you need any help with dinner, Mrs. Bell?" Blake asks and i could see mum mentally jaw drop.

"Yes, please! Could you maybe set the table?" She says and turns to me. "Lani, can you get your father and Emma down here?" I nod excitedly, not knowing Emma was over.

"EMMA!" i run upstairs and into her room.

"LEILANI!" she jumps up and hugs me. We sit down on her bed when she asks, "So do you have any tea? Maybe about Blake?" She wiggles her eyebrows.

"Well to start off, he's downstairs-"

"WHAT?!" she almost screams.

"And secondly, I'm going on tour with him and his band mates tomorrow!!" I squeal.

"Lani, he's making your dream come true!" We jump up and down. "Okay, i need to meet him properly. Let's go!"

"I have to get dad first, one second." I walk over to his bedroom and knock on his door before walking in. 

"Hey Dad!" I give him a bear hug.

"Lani, sweetheart, i missed you!"

"I missed you too! Mum wanted me to come get you for dinner." He follows Emma and i downstairs to the kitchen.

"Blake, good to see you again! It's been awhile." Emma grins and i roll my eyes, making Blake laugh.

"I know, it's been awhile!"

"Oh dad," I turn to him, "this is Blake, my boyfriend."

"Nice to meet you, Mr. Bell." Blake and dad shake hands and i'm praying dad likes him.

"What are you two up to lately?" Mum asks as we sit down to eat.

"Well, like i mentioned on the phone, i'm going on tour with blake and his band tomorrow!" I say excitedly.

"I'm happy for you guys!" Dad smiles.

"Blake, what's your bands name again?" Mum asks. "I want to play some of your music."

"New Hope Club."

Mum is scrolling through her phone, looking for songs to play. "Ooo, Love Again! That sounds good!" My cheeks instantly redden and i could tell Emma knew this was the one just from my face. Unfortunately, Blake notices my red face.

"You're cute." He kisses my cheek.

"Why are you blushing?" Mum asks.

"Because i wrote this song about her in three hours." Blake answers for me, grinning. At this, mum gasps really loudly and presses play while Dad looks happy and impressed. I'm so happy they love Blake. The whole song i'm smiling while blake's smiling at me.

"If i were you, I'd kiss him." Dad says, after the song is done. I laugh, rolling my eyes, and give Blake a kiss.

"Anyways," Blake chuckles. "our first show is in Manchester tomorrow night. We'd love to have you come, you wouldn't have to pay." He offers.

"We'd love to!" Dad says with a smile. Mum thinks it's an amazing and then goes back to her phone to scroll through the boys' songs.

"Oh Blake, you're too cute." Mum says, watching the Permission music video, which makes blake slightly blush. "Your band members are cute too."

"Thank you, Mrs. Bell." 

"Call me Kaitlynn."

"Thank you, Kaitlynn." He smiles. Ten minutes later after we cleaned up dinner, Dad wanted to talk to Blake. While they were in his office, mum turned to me.

"He.is.so.CUTE!" she whisper yells. "He's such a gentleman too! If i had a boy write a song about me, i would marry him on the spot."

"I really want to marry him, mum. He makes me so happy."

"That's good! I must ask though, what was the inspiration behind him writing love again?" She asks and i proceed to fill her in on everything i hadn't told her.

(Blakes POV)

"Blake could i talk to you for a second?" Mr. Bell asks me. At first i was nervous about this conversation but as i got to know him, i didn't mind at all that he wanted to talk to me. I followed him into his office and he gestured for me to sit down.

"I like you Blake, and i think you're perfect for my daughter, but i brought you in here to make you aware of some things. Leilani hasn't had the best experiences with boyfriends, has she told you anything about that?"

"She told me about Evan. We ran into him at the store awhile ago and she seemed really shaken up so i put him in his place." 

"Yeah, he was by far the worst. They all seemed nice at first but over time they became really abusive, verbally and physically. None of them, not one, put any time or effort into her and it hurt my heart to see her continuously go back to them. I have to be honest with you Blake, i was scared when she said you were her boyfriend. I'm glad you're different."

"I hate that she had to go through that," I admit. "She's amazing and doesn't deserve that. Mr. Bell, i promise you i will never hurt your daughter. If it's okay with you, i plan to marry her when we're a bit older." I say with a big smile.

"Of course it's okay with me. You have my blessing." At his words, my smile turns into the biggest grin. I can't wait for the day leilei becomes my wife.

"Thank you, Mr. Bell."

"Please call me Scott."

"Thank you so much, Scott."

"You're welcome. We should probably head back to the girls now." He says and i nod, following him out. When i saw leilani sitting at the table, i couldn't help but smile, my heart bursting with joy. I knew i wanted to spend the rest of my life with this gorgeous girl.

"Hey love," I gave her a quick kiss and hugged her from behind. She gave me a weird look.

"Hey...what did my dad say to you?"

"Nothing." I laugh and kiss her cheek before sitting down on the couch next to her. For the next hour, we talked and played games. I loved getting to know her family better.

"Alright leilei, we better get going. We have to be up early tomorrow."

"Yeah, you're right." She sighs and turns to her family. "I'm excited to see you three at the show tomorrow!" We hug her parents and sister before heading out the door.

(leilanis POV)

"I'm so in love with you, leilei." He says out of the blue while beaming. We had just left my parents house and he was driving back to mine.

"Why are you acting so lovey dovey tonight? I mean, i love it and i think it's adorable but what did my dad say to you?"

"All good things." He pause. "Except..."

"Yes?

"He told me Evan wasn't your first abusive boyfriend."

"Oh...that."

"leilani, why didn't you tell me? I can't believe they would hurt you like that. You're wonderful, amazing, and gorgeous and you definitely do not deserve that."

Look at that, he's making me blush again.

"It was just so...hard." i try my hardest to keep the tears in. "When i met them, they seemed so nice but when we were together longer, they got abusive. But of course, me being me, went back to them and kept getting myself hurt." i glance out the windows for something to stare at as a distraction. "Sorry, i just hate talking about it. It makes me seem so weak."

"Hey," Blake glances at me, worry in his eyes. "you're not weak at all. I totally understand how it feels, it's happened to me. Just think about it this way, all of our exs led up to us finding each other again."

"what do you mean?"

"Well, if you weren't with Evan and if you decided not to break up with him that day, we wouldn't have ran into each other." He grabs my hand and kisses it.

A slight smile grows on my face. "Yeah, you're right." We pull into my driveway and he walks me to my door.

"I'm sorry i brought it up."

"You deserve to know, don't be sorry." I tell him. 

"I just want to let you know how much i love you." Blake beams before planting kisses all over my face, making me laugh.

"I love you too." Now it's my turn to kiss his cute face, laughing while doing so.

"I will see you in the morning. I'll pick you up if that's alright?"

"Yes, of course. I can't wait to travel the world with you, baby." i smile widely.

"I can't wait to see your reaction to everything. I know you'll love it." He smiles. "Goodnight, Beautiful." He gives me a long goodnight kiss. What did my dad even say to him?! It must've been good because he's been showering me with love ever since.

"Goodnight, handsome." I smile before walking into my house. i walk up to my room, with Delilah and Indie on my tail.

"So, how was it?" Delilah urges.

"It was good, but blake was acting slightly strange. Adorable, but strange." I plop down onto my bed with my two best friends.

"Well, after dinner my dad wanted to talk to blake and blake gladly went. a couple minutes later, they come out and blake couldn't stop smiling the rest of the night and he was acting more in love with me. He was happier than he's ever been if that's possible."

"That's adorable. I really want to know what they talked about now!!" Indie exclaims.

"You and me both."

"Ugh i wish i could go on tour with you and the boys."

"Did reece and george not ask you?"

"Well they both know that indie and i just barely got new jobs. Plus, i don't think we're quite there in our relationships. They're not even our boyfriends yet. We haven't even kissed them yet."

"You'll get there, trust me." I smirk. "I'm going to miss the both of you so much! Five months is too long."

"For real! It's almost half a year!" 

"I know, I know, but it'll go by quickly."
