Sawyer finally spotted Lexi. She quickly walked up to her, handing her the roses, "You ready?"

By Lexi's expression Sawyer quickly could tell she was not ready.

"Hey, hey, it's okay." She placed a hand on Lexi's back, "Just breath. You got this."

"What- What if everyone takes this the wrong way and nobody likes it." Lexi stammered out.

"Who cares about a high schoolers dumb opinion. Just because some people won't like it doesn't mean others won't. Trust me you'll get more love than hate." Sawyer rubbed her back.

"You really think so? I've just worked so hard and now that it's finally time, I'm just... scared." Lexi wiped her face.

"It's completely understandable that you're scared. I'd be concerned if you weren't." Lexi chuckled at Sawyer.

"Thank you Sawyer." Lexi pulled her into a quick hug, "but I need to get this shit moving, we only have a few minutes."

Sawyer giggled, "okay. Love you. Make me proud." She smiled and walked out from back stage and into the audience. Ashtray was already seated, on his phone.

The audience wasn't full yet. People slowly made their ways in there.

After around twenty minutes everyone was in their seats and waiting for the play to start. Everyone was there. Except Fezco.

"Where's your brother?" Sawyer glanced at Ashtray who just shrugged.

"I just texted him he's dealing with Faye's bitch ass."

"Hey!" Sawyer smacked him, "watch it."

         Sawyer calmly sat through the play watching it. Lexi was her friend yes. But the play did make her uncomfortable. There wasn't anything major yet but just from the reactions of those around her she couldn't help but feel anxy.

Her father's funeral scene came. Why did this need to be included. She felt herself sink into her seat.

Ashtray glance down at her, "you good?"

Sawyer couldn't get any words out. All she could do was nod her head. Her focus went back onto the play.

There she was sitting on her bed crying, struggling to breathe.

She recalled every moment like it was yesterday.

The day her father left a piece of her went with him.

This portion didn't really emphasize since Sawyer for too long. It was mainly Rue and their father dancing in a flash back.

Sawyers head turned around and her eyes wandered around the room. She spotted Rue sitting with her eyes glued to the stage.

"Hey.." Ashtray placed his hand on Sawyers thigh.

"Yeah?"

"Fez is outside. He says we need to talk. I'll be back." Ashtray explained.

"Oh okay." She nodded.

Ashtray quickly got up and made his way outside.

"Yo?" Ashtray approached his nicely dressed brother who had a big smile on his face.

"Tie? Or no tie?" Fezco asked.

Ashtray chuckled, "You look good man. What's up for real though."

"Whatever the fuck Sawyer did worked. But Faye's dude went down too for some shit." Fezco explained.

"What do you mean it worked? Nate's in there right now." Ashtray narrowed his eyes.

"Trust me on this man." Fezco patted Ashtrays back, "It worked."

"So what now? Where is Faye going to go?" Ashtrays carefully asked.

By the look on Fezcos face he knew the answer.

Sawyers hands made their way to her mouth as she watched herself get publicly embarrassed by Troy cheating on her in the play.

She felt eyes on her.

She shrunk in her seat.

Again why was this needed.

She watched herself yet again cry on the stage in front of her everyone.

Her name wasn't mentioned, Lexi changed all the characters names but it wasn't hard to put two and two together.

Her mood changed after the next few scenes. Laughs quietly escaped her mouth as she watched Ethan's amazing performance.

The lights, the dancing, the song, everything about it was amazing. This was definitely her favorite section.

Sawyers phone vibrated in her lap.

Sawyer sighed and slowly got up. As she was walking out she bumped arms with Nate who was also storming out of the room. Cassie was following behind him.

Sawyer sped past the two ignoring their confrenation and went outside.

Sawyer didn't spot Ashtray anywhere.

She stood by the doors waiting, for him to approach her.

The doors flung open behind her and out walked Nate Jacobs with rage written all over his face.

The sight of Sawyer angered him even more.

He glared down at her, "You put her up to this shit?"

Sawyer frowned, "no. But it was incredible." Sawyer let out a corky smile.

Nate huffed. His hand stroked his chin, but his eyes were glued to Sawyer.

He slowly shook his head as he took a step closer to Sawyer. He brought his face down to Sawyers.

She could feel his hot breaths hit her face. She gulped wishing Ashtray would come save her but she had no idea where he was.

"I told you to stop fucking with me Sawyer. You just can't listen." He spoke lowly, "Well you're fucked now."

Out of the corner of Sawyers eye she saw red and blue lights approaching. A small smirk appeared on her face, "No Nate. Actually you're fucked."

"The fuck?" Nate cocked his head back. He looked behind him seeing two cop cars park right in front of them.

Two officers got out of the car and walked toward them.

"Nathaniel Jacobs?" One of them looked at him.

"You're under arrest for homicide, assault, tampering with evidence, and child pornography. You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say or do will be used against you in the court of law." The other officer spoke up as he pulled hand cuff outs.

"Put your arms behind your back for me son." Nate glared at Sawyer. He didn't say a word. Just pure rage over took him as he put his hands behind his back.

Sawyer slightly jumped as Ashtray appeared behind her back. She turned her head and looked up into his eyes.

She was still in pure shock. She didn't know what to say or do.

All she could do was pull Ashtray into a hug. Their bodies pressed together heatedly against each other.

The two watched as the cop cars drove away.

"We did it." Sawyers voice came out quiet.

"You did it Sawyer. He wouldn't have gone down if it wasn't for you." Ashtray admitted.

"I-I can't believe it worked." Sawyers demeanor began to change. She was accepting that she was right.

The doors opened and people started pouring out.

"I need to find Lexi." Sawyer grabbed Ashtrays hand.

They walked back into the auditorium, pushing past the crowd of people. Sawyer led them to back stage.

She spotted Lexi talking to Fezco. She quickly ran over to Lexi and pulled her into her arms.

"We did it Lexi! We freakin did it." She kept her hands on Lexi's Shoulders but pulled her face away, looking at Lexi.

"What? They-They got him?!" Lexi asked surprised.

"Yes!" Sawyer happily nodded.

"Holy shit!" Lexi smiled then turned to look at Fezco and Ashtray.

"Thank you guys." Ashtray looked at the two girls.

"Nah for real. Thank you." Fezco put his arm around Ashtray.

"Of course you guys." Sawyer smiled at them.

They all stood, looking at each other in silence for a few moments, "Group hug?" Lexi beamed.

"Fuck no." Ashtray knitted his eyebrows together.

Fezco jokingly smacked him on the back of the head, "bring it in."

Lexi and Sawyer wrapped their arms around each others shoulders then connected to Fezco and Ashtray, all hugging each other.

Once they all pulled away Fezco looked at everyone, "I'm going to steal her for a second." He looked at Lexi.

Her smile only grew wider, "Okay!" She followed him as he walked away.

"Sawyer." Ashtray breathed out.

"Yeah?"

"I have something I want to ask you."

Sawyers heart rate began to go up. She took a deep breath and looked up into Ashtrays eyes carefully, "Mhm?"

"Will you Sawyer Leona Bennett be my girlfriend. Officially. Full title and everything." Ashtray nervously let out.

"Yes! Yes! Yes." Sawyer beamed. She quickly nodded her head up and down.

Ashtray reached into his pocket and handed Sawyer a tiny box. She knitted her eyebrows together and opened it slowly.

"A promise ring?" The smile never left her face. She put the ring on her finger and it fit perfectly.

"Of course. I promise to treat you right and be by your side no matter what."

Sawyer brought her hands to Ashtrays cheeks and pulled his face down to hers. She looked into his eyes for a second, before connecting her lips onto his.

And that was the end, but also the start of something great.

HEY GUYS sorry for the late update! But this is the last chapter of this storyyyyy.. happy ending though unlike my other Ashtray fic. But I'm happy to announce that I've started writing a few new stories.
