"I don't know what you're going to say but this feels like... really dramatic." Kat finally spoke up, breaking the silence between the girls that were all sitting at the table.

"Yeah this is spooky." BB agreed.

"It's not spooky BB. I just, I need your advice on like two things. And I need you guys to promise me you won't say a fucking word." Cassie expressed to the girls.

Sawyer glanced at Lexie who just nodded her head at Cassie. As did everyone else.

"So the night of Daniel's Halloween party. Something happened..." Cassie started.

Sawyer felt the tension rise due to Kats expression. She had a worried look on her face.

As Cassie was explaining how she almost cheated on McKay at the party with Daniel all Sawyer could look at was Kats reactions. Each thing Cassie added Kat looked more worried.

"Am I hearing this correctly? You wanna tell McKay that you made out with Daniel at the carnival and on Halloween?" Maddy repeated but you could tell in her tone where this was going.

"Yeah, but I don't have to say it's Daniel."

"Bitch, that's the craziest idea I've ever heard, Right?" Maddy glanced between the girls for approval.

"For sure." BB nodded.

"Yeah, no I wouldn't say anything." Sawyer finally spoke up. She had been silent the whole time because she wasn't sure what she had been called there for and she was nervous.

"Yeah, but I want to be honest with him."

Lexie groaned, while frowning at her sister.

"You cannot tell McKay." Maddy insisted.

"But it's not like I cheated-cheated."

"Kissing is worse. It's much more intimate. And if anybody brings it up you deny,deny,deny." Maddy continued.

"Okay but I just don't want there to be something this bad between us forever."

"I wouldn't worry about it Cassie. It's not like you guys are gonna be together forever." Kat pitched in.

Sawyer did not like her comment.

"Seriously Kat that was ru-" sawyer got cut off by Maddy who also did not like her comment.

"Kat what the fuck is your problem? You're being a bad friend right now. You were a bad friend to me and this whole new personality is seriously unlikable."

"World star!" BB leaned back in her chair, hitting her vape.

"Why because I wont sit and listen to you bitch and moan about your psychotic abusive boyfriend who you've broken up with thousands of times."

Sawyer almost choked on her spit when she heard Kats response. She knew Maddy did not take shit from anyone.

"It was literally the lowest point in my life so yeah, that and the fact that your just fuckin mean." Maddy glared at Kat.

"Maddy ever since I met you all you talk about is yourself, your clothes, your boyfriends or whatever superficial shit you think is so fucking important, sorry im no longer interested.

"I don't know about everyone else, but I miss the old Kat. Ya know the one who had a sense of humor and wasn't a fuckin cunt." Maddy did not take her eyes off of Kat.

Everyone else was silent. Except for BB she wasn't shy of giving her commentary.

Kat got up from her seat and stormed out.

No one knew what to say.

"Um Ashtray asked me to the dance." Sawyer broke the silence.

"What!" Maddy grabbed sawyers hands,looking at her.

"Yeah he made a poster and got me flowers and stuff."

"Damn not cigarettes being a lover boy" BB laughed.

"Holy shit." Brianna widened her eyes, "that's great sawyer." She tried to be supportive.

"Yeah he definitely likes you a lot." Cassie broke a smile trying to be positive.

"In my time of knowing him I've never seen him like this with anyone." Maddy cheesed at sawyer.

All these comments made sawyer feel more secure about Ashtray. She knew he didn't have bad intentions but she also had lots of intrusive thoughts.

"I'm just scared to self sabotage.." sawyer admitted.

"Why would you self sabotage?" Lexie asked.

"I-I don't know, it's just when good things happen to me I get overwhelmed and mess them up."

"Trust us sawyer you have nothing to worry about he's head over heels for you." Cassie explained.

"And if anything you have all of us." Maddy smiled at her.

        Sawyer slightly jumped as she woke up from her sleep. She rubbed her eyes only to see Rue sneaking back into her hospital bed.

"What are you doing?" Sawyers voice was groggy.

"You were knocked outtt." Rue laughed at her sister.

Rue had been in the hospital for almost three days because she got a kidney infection. Sawyer stayed with her everyday she was in there.

"If I could live in a hospital, I would." Rue laid back down in her bed.

"Why?"

"All the freedom." Rue shrugged, sipping from her juice.

Sawyer just nodded her head. The whole hospital setting wasn't something Sawyer enjoyed though. She hadn't been in one since her father was sick and when Rue overdosed.

Sawyer laid her body across the chair using her jacket as a pillow. She positioned herself to face the tv.

The door opened and Jules walked inside.

She walked over to the girls and slightly waved with an awkward smile, "hey."

"Hey." Rue and Sawyer said in unison and quickly looked at each other.

Sawyer could feel the tension rise. She stood up and grabbed her bag along with her jacket.

"I should go home. I haven't been in days."

"Are you sure?" Jules asked. She didn't want to intrude.

"Yes." Sawyer lightly smiled then looked over at Rue, "behave." She warned earning a laugh from rue.

Rue put her hands up in surrender, "I will." She watched as her sister left.
