A couple weeks had passed since Sawyer and Brianna fell out. Brianna hadn't spoken to sawyer since that day and Sawyer didn't try to reach out.

More than anything Sawyer was confused and felt betrayed. No matter how many ups and down they had Brianna was sawyers rock. Or so she thought.

Over the past few weeks Sawyer went MIA, ignoring everyone around her. She had convinced her mother to let her stay home for the two weeks because she said she was 'super sick'.

Eventually Leslie called Sawyer out and said she had to go to school the up coming Monday.

It was Sunday night and Sawyer was in Gia's room laid comfortably in the bed snacking on strawberries watching Love island with her.

"This new cast is so annoying." Gia shook her head watching the tv.

"I know, tell me about it, this US version is so corny." Sawyer agreed, with a mouth of strawberry.

"Sawyer..If I'm being honest.. I'm glad I have you as an older sister." Gia randomly brought up.

"Well I'm glad to have you as my younger sister." Sawyer softly smiled at her younger sister.

"I mean like, you're my favorite sister. Rue never takes time for us and I try to be patient with her but she just makes me feel stupid." Gia admitted.

"I understand, but at the end of the day she is still our sister and even though we can't change her all we can do is love and support her ya know." Sawyer sat upright.

"Yeah, it just sucks because moments like this. Where is she? Not here. With us. But then when she feels like it she decides she wants to play the over protective big sister role but she doesn't even deserve it." Gia made a line with her lips.

"I know it sucks. I get exactly how you feel. All we can do is just give unconditional love and patience G." Sawyer wrapped her arm around Gias shoulder.

Gia nodded her head understanding.

The two girls continued to eat strawberries and watch their show.

Sawyer glanced down at her phone and saw ashtray had texted her. Again..

Over her "disappearance" Ashtray had reached out a few times to make sure Sawyer was okay but he got no response. He tried to ask Rue but she was unreliable so he decided to take matters into his own hands.

    Sawyer quickly put on a one piece black bathing suit and threw on an over sized T shirt before sneaking out of her window and making her way to Ashtrays car.

Sawyer opened the passenger seat and buckled herself up.

Ashtray waited, looking her up and down.

He couldn't help but look at her soft plump lips, and how her hair looked up in a messy bun. He liked her curl pattern and how some curls were left out just hanging. He also liked her scent. She always had a distinct scent that Ashtray couldn't get enough of.

"Are you going to start the car or are we going to sit here all night?" Sawyer couldn't help but smile. She hated to admit but she liked the mystery of Ashtray. Who randomly shows up to someone's house and forces them to go swim with them?

Ashtray playfully rolled his eyes, shaking his head. He started the car and made his way to his house.

The car ride was silent. But a comfortable silence. There was music playing but at a low volume and the windows were down.

Sawyer just enjoyed the moment, trying to brush off all the negative thoughts that were running through her head.

Sawyer tried not to make it obvious when she looked at Ashtray. But she couldn't help herself from finding him attractive right now.

Ashtray kept his eyes concentrated on the road. He was leaned back into the seat, driving with one hand. His other one was rested outside the window. He had no shirt on either, just his swimming trunks.

When they arrived Ashtray led Sawyer to his complex's Pool.

Sawyers face lit up as soon as she saw the hot tub. She quickly made her way over to the control center and turned on the jets.

Ashtray didn't waste any time either, and he quickly got inside the hot tub.

Sawyer sat on the ground with her legs dipped inside the hot tub.

"You're not going to get in?" Ashtray asked with attitude.

"I'm just adjusting to the temperature." Sawyer rolled her eyes. She pulled her T-shirt over her head and tossed it near her slides.

Sawyer slowly got the rest of her body into the water.

"Much better." Sawyer let out as she leaned her head back looking up at the stars.

"I know it is." Ashtray chuckled, " but what's up with you? What happened?"

Sawyer sighed, "Brianna and I got into it and I needed space."

"She's just as bad as Troy in my opinion." Ashtray shrugged at sawyer.

"Luckily I don't need your opinion." Sawyer smirked, to which Ashtray shook his head in annoyance. "But I told her that I like you.." Sawyer continued to look up at the sky.

After she said that it went silent.

Sawyer continued to look up because she was too nervous to look at Ashtray. She quickly regretted admitting that to him.

Ashtray kept his eyes on Sawyer though. He noticed she only looked at the sky and not at him.

He was sitting across from her with his both of his arms rested on the ground.

Sawyer was uncomfortable with the silence she expected him to say something by now. She slowly lifted her head to see what he was doing only to now be stuck making eye contact.

"Why arent you saying anything?" Sawyer made a line with her lips.

"Why couldn't you look at me and say that?" Ashtray finally spoke up.

"Say what."

"That you like me." Ashtray simply let out.

Sawyer took a deep breath. Her heart was racing. But it was now or never.

"I like you Ashtray." Sawyer boldly admitted, rubbing the back of her neck.

Ashtray moved closer to Sawyer not breaking the eye contact.

"Sawyer Leona Bennett.." Ashtray noticed Sawyers demeanor soften. He stood in front of her, "you know I like you too"

Ashtray placed his hands on Sawyers cheek, "but we need to take things slow."

Sawyer sighed feeling defeated, "you don't trust me, huh?"

"It's not that I don't trust you Lee, I just have a lot going on and I don't need to drag you into that stuff." Ashtray shook his head.

"Stuff like what?"

Ashtray never told Sawyer the truth about what he does with Fezco. He always just told her not to worry about it, and that he just helped take care of his grandmother.

"You already know I have to help Fez, and my grandma." Ashtray said with simple directness.

"Yeah, but, that shouldn't stop you from living your life too. And what could your brother possibly need so much help with." Sawyer asked in a sarcastic manner.

"Lee, don't worry about it. We're good and we'll work our way to what we both actually want but until then we can just chill."

Just chill? That automatically reminded Sawyer of what went down between Cassie and McKay at the carnival and she definitely did not want that.

"Seriously." Sawyer groaned.

"What?" Ashtray frowned.

"I don't want to be your little secret or whatever it is you're getting at." Sawyer admitted.

"Lee that is not what I meant." Ashtray felt bad, "We can act like we're in a relationship or whatever you want just without the label and full commitment."

"Oh so you're scared to commit to me?" Sawyer kept pushing, she sensed Ashtray getting annoyed.

"No."

"Oh."

"I just told you I have a lot going on that has nothing to do with you and I don't want you involved in it." Ashtray snapped.

Sawyer stayed silent still looking up at him. She nodded her head. She didn't like his angry tone. It made her nervous.

"So are we doing this or not?" Ashtray bluntly asked not wasting anymore time.

Sawyer sat pondering. She obviously wanted to grow closer with him and work towards a relationship but was he telling her the truth?

"Y-Yes, we can." Sawyer quickly nodded her head, breaking a fake smile.

Ashtrays demeanor softened again, "Good." He towered over her.

The two just glared into eachothers eyes.

Ashtray glanced down at Sawyers lips that were already waiting like a question.

He bent down, his lips against sawyers cheek, brushing it lightly. His touch sent shivers through her nerves, shivers that made her whole body tremble.

"If you want me to stop, tell me now," ashtray whispered.

When sawyer still said nothing, he brushed his mouth against the hollow of her temple.

"Or now." He traced the line of her cheekbone. "Or now." His lips were against hers.

Sawyer fell onto her back as Ashtray stayed on top of her not breaking from the kiss.

His hands roamed her body, freely as she enjoyed every second of it.

This was Sawyers first ever time being this close with anyone.

Ashtray looked down into sawyer's eyes, as his breathing patterns began to slowly regulate again.

Ashtray began to kiss her neck, slowly making his way back up to Sawyer's lips.

Sawyer gave into the kiss and rubbed his back up and down.

She tried her hardest to seem like a natural, but she wondered where he learned all this.

Ashtray used his right hand to hold himself up while he used his left to still roam Sawyer's body.

His hand slowly made its was down to the buttons on her jeans. She let him un button them and place his hand inside her jeans.

Sawyer's widened her eyes when he began to rub her. He had never done this before. He was never this bold or straight forward.

Small moans escaped from Sawyer's lips as she closed her eyes from the pleasure.

Ashtray smirked, enjoying her reaction. He began to pick up the paste a bit which made Sawyer get louder.

"You're gonna have to be a bit more quiet for me princess." Ashtray glanced into her eyes as she nodded her head making a line with her lips.

They were at a party. And they didn't wanted anyone finding them after all.

After a few minutes Ashtray pulled his hand out and reached for Sawyer's. He brought it up to his pants and let her feel his member.

Sawyer bit down on her bottom lip and shook her head yes.

Ashtrays smirk grew wider as he began to un buckle his pants.

That's when the panic started kicking in.

Now one of the biggest things Sawyer was scared of was sex and loosing her virginity.

"Ash Wait!" She pushed him off of her and quickly stood up from the bed.

"A-Are you good?" Ashtray was stunned at her reaction. He thought he did something wrong. That was the last thing he needed.

"Did I hurt you? Are you okay?"

"It's not you.. I- I'm not ready. Not right now."Sawyer looked down at him as he stayed sitting on the edge of the bed.

"Okay that's fine Lee. We don't have to do anything." Ashtray began to buckle his pants back up. Sawyer let out a loud breath.

"You're not mad?" She questioned nervously.

"No. I would never be mad at you for not wanting to have sex with me Lee. You know that." Ashtray spoke as if it was obvious. Which it was to her.

She knew he wasn't that type of person. He wouldn't ever do anything to hurt her. He'd kill for her.

But he had too much pride to ever be direct and tell her.

"Thank you.." Sawyer broke a small smile, still staring at him awkwardly.

Ashtray opened his arms and Sawyer sat next to him. He wrapped his arm over her shoulder, as she rested her head on him.
