Sawyer looked at Brianna trying her hardest to take her seriously and not laugh. It was lunch and the two girls were sitting together secluded from everyone like they usually did. It was the way Sawyer liked it.

"oh my god, and then kat like forced the twins to spend a fuck tun of money on her so she'd keep quiet." Brianna continued to laugh.

"Jesus.." Sawyer shook her head in shock at this information.

"I know she's sick. Now she has like this whole new look and I heard she's just been fucking like crazy." Brianna shared, while giggling.

"Don't tell anyone but she also gets money from older men online. She like preforms for them I guess and they pay her." Sawyer let out but quickly regretted once she did.

Brianna was her bestfriend and she trusted her but she also knew Brianna didn't have the quietest mouth.

"No fucking way." Brianna gasped and brought her hand to her open mouth, "wait! What do you mean preform?"

Sawyer didn't say anything she just looked at Brianna.

Brianna placed both of her hands on sawyers shoulders and playfully shook her, "oh my god, don't tell me it's-"

Sawyer tried to stopped herself from smiling because Brianna could see right through her.

"Supposedly she degrades them and does like.. feet porn?" Sawyer finally let out.

Brianna's eyes widened and she burst out into laughter, "holy- holy shit I cannot, what the fuck, No way she-"

Sawyer quickly placed her finger over Brianna's mouth trying to shush her, "Stop, stop don't repeat that." She didn't want anyone to hear them.

"Wow, can't believe that. Speaking of new..." Brianna smirked, "how are you and Troy?"

"I told you I'm done with him." Sawyers demeanor became tense.

"Well I know I just thought maybe by now you guys would've made up." Brianna let out.

"Oh... no, I kinda have been hanging out with Ashtray though." Sawyer shared.

"Ashtray? Seriously?" Brianna stated with attitude laced in her tone.

"Uh yeah, it's not much of anything but he's pretty cool."

"I just don't know how you go from Troy... to him." Brianna shook her head while looking at herself in her phone camera.

"Troy was horrible for me I don't understand why you're so obsessed with the idea of me and him." Sawyer mumbled out.

Brianna frowned and turned off her phone, "Me? Obsessed with you and Troy? Seriously Sawyer get over yourself."

"I mean all you do is shame me for moving on from him." Sawyer made a line with her lips.

"How do I shame you." Brianna glared blankly at Sawyer.

"I don't get mad at you ever. And I never hold the things you say or do over your head like you do to me constantly. For example at the carnival you ghosted me and you still haven't given me an explanation.. oh and you told maddy that I cheated when we both know I'd never do anything like that. I-I just feel that you're the one that really wants to be with Troy." Sawyer looked down at her leg that was shaking.

"Well Maddy is my cousin and I was just telling her what I saw." Brianna shrugged, "We're just on different paths. You don't understand how hard it is for me to accommodate things to your needs. You always wanna be alone and be sad about everything and never want to branch out and just be happy, I'm sorry that I don't wanna bitch and spend the rest of my life hoping people notice me and feel bad for me"

Sawyer sat speechless as she watched Brianna stand up gathering her things. She was confused on where this was all of a sudden coming from.

Before Brianna walked away she looked down at Sawyer.

"And you're fucking disgusting if you think I'd go for your sloppy seconds." Brianna shook her head, before storming off.

Sawyer sat in disbelief.

   Sawyer sat in her bed in silence like she had done every day since her father passed.

Sawyer had isolated herself from the world. The only times she'd left her room was to use the bathroom, shower, or eat, other than that she bed rotted.

Leslie knocked on sawyers door before opening it a few seconds later since she didn't respond, "Hey.."

Sawyer turned her head over to look at her mother.

"I know you don't want to be bothered but I have someone that really wants to see you." Leslie smiled at her daughter, as she moved out of the doorway.

There stood Brianna holding flowers, a basket with candy, a teddy bear and a balloon.

"I'll leave you ladies." Leslie smiled at the girls and walked away.

Brianna stepped into the room and closed the door behind her.

As Brianna was setting the gifts on sawyers night stand, sawyer got out of her bed and walked over to her best friend.

Brianna turned to face sawyer, "hey" she lightly smiled.

"Hey" sawyer broke a smile back.

The two stood in a comfortable silence staring at each other.

Brianna put her arms out spread wide, welcoming sawyer in, and she immediately entered them.

Somehow sawyer felt like Brianna had momentarily took away her pain and made her feel safe.

After a few minutes the two girls pulled away left looking at each other.

"I know you don't really want guests but I just wanted you to know I'm always here for you no matter what." Brianna placed her hand on Sawyers shoulder.

"Thank you. I appreciate it a lot." Sawyer fully smiled.

"I guess I'll get going now but text or call me anytime okay?" Brianna gave a sympathetic look.

"Y-You can stay if you want. My mom's making dinner soon and I've just kind of been watching tiktoks all day." Sawyer hesitated.

Brianna smiled, "of course I want to."
