Sawyer stepped out of the shower and dried herself off before briefly staring at herself in the mirror for a few seconds. She then put on the T-shirt and shorts that Ashtray had given her.

"Yo you good?" Ashtray knocked on the door.

Sawyer took a deep breath before opening the door, and awkwardly staring up at him.

"Yeah, I'm good.. How are you?" Sawyer asked, glancing at Ashtray. She noticed he didn't have any marks on his face or anything.

"Yeah. I'm good. My hand kinda hurts, but i'm good." Ashtray simply stated. Sawyer nodded her head at his response.

The two stood in silence for a few seconds before sawyer decided to speak up, "Come here." Sawyer moved out of the doorway so Ashtray could fully come inside, "Sit."

Ashtray nodded his head and sat on the counter, while sawyer looked around his cabinets trying to find a first aid kit. Once she found one she grabbed out an alcohol pad.

"This is going to sting." Sawyer softly spoke while she picked up Ashtrays hand glancing at his bruised knuckles.

"Cant be that- Ow! Fuck, that burns." Ashtray winced as sawyer cleaned his knuckles. Sawyer giggled at his reaction.

"All done." Sawyer threw away the trash and put the first aid kit back in the cabinet. She turned back to Ashtray who was just staring dead at her.

"You didn't have to do that you know. His words don't really affect me anymore." Sawyer finally decided to speak up about what happened.

"I don't care. What he said was fucked up and I wasn't gonna let him talk to you like that." Ashtray kept eye contact.

"I don't get why you care so much though. Especially after the incident." Sawyer made a line with her lips.

Ashtray glanced down at his knuckles, "I can tell your sorry." Sawyer lightly frowned at him. "And if you truly meant to hurt me you wouldn't have tried to hard to convince me that it was an accident."

"True."sawyer nodded her head, lightly smiling at Ashtray, "But can I ask you something?"

"Yeah."

"Do you think i'm a bad person? Do I even have a right to be upset about anything he does to me?" Sawyer wanted to hear his opinion.

"I think your kind of a hypocrite. But, You're not a bad person. Obviously you're a soft person and he takes advantage of that." Ashtray shrugged up at sawyer.

"Honestly, I'm not as upset as I thought i'd be. I'm kind of relieved. Now I don't have to feel bad for doing something that I wont regret." Sawyer stated with a sensual tone in her voice. Ashtray widened his eyes at her. She took a step closer to him, and gazed into his eyes.

"Regret what?" Ashtray inquired.

Sawyer didn't say anything, She moved her face closer to his and grabbed both of his hands placing them on her lower back, causing a huge smirk to appear on Ashtrays face.

Without thinking sawyer just connected her lips onto Ashtrays. His tongue sliped inside her mouth, gentle but demanding, and it's nothing like sawyer had ever experienced.

Since that one time so long ago...

Sawyer's eyes were half closed, and so were Ashtray's. He nudged his nose against hers, and their mouths fell sleepily together, already soft and open.

Ashtrays hands were around Sawyer's waist as he pulled her closer, goosebumps swarming every part of her body that he touched.

Sawyer slowly pulled away and looked into Ashtrays eyes as she caught her breath. Without any words Ashtray got off the counter and left the bathroom while sawyer trailed behind him.

Ashtray opened up his bedroom door and let sawyer walk in first before closing it behind them. He turned on the light and walked over to his bed, sitting down.

Sawyer sat beside him, looking down at her hands fidgeting with her bracelets. She took a deep breath before looking up into Ashtrays eyes, "Do you think we wouldve ended up together if that day never happened?"

"Lee.." Ashtrays began, "We both liked eachother and had a special bond, but that bond didn't mean as much to you, so no I don't think we would've lasted." 

"I'm sorry.. I really am." Sawyer softly spoke.

"I know, Lee.. and I forgive you." Ashtray locked eyes with her, "I hate to admit it but I'm glad we're friends again." Ashtray admitted.

Sawyers face fell. Her whole demeanor had changed at his comment. He had friend zoned her. After they kissed? After she admitted that she didn't regret it? Was he not making it obvious that he liked her? And now he says they're just friends?

Sawyer took a deep breath, "thank you for keeping me safe last tonight, even though it's already like five in the morning, oh and making sure I survived that high."

"Anytime." Ashtray nodded his head before standing up, "You want a ride home?"

"Oh- yeah, yeah thank you." Sawyer nodded her head, quickly standing up.

Sawyer grabbed her things and followed ashtray out of his room.

"You ready?" Ashtray cleared his throat.

Sawyer simply nodded.
