The day after the party Sawyer was hungover. Maddy had drove Sawyer and all the girls home, and Brianna made sure Sawyer got into her room safely before she went back to Maddy's.

Sawyer couldn't get out of her bed without wanting to die, and every few seconds more and more vomit would find it's way coming back up her throat and out of her mouth.

She laid on her bed, in her own vomit hopeless, staring up at the ceiling crying to herself.

"Sawyer?" Rue lightly knocked at the door. Sawyer didn't respond she just mumbled something inaudible.

Sawyer shifted her focus to the door as Rue walked in.

"Holy fuck sawyer" Rue walked over to her younger sister concerned, "Ashtray brought you home?" she asked.

"No what the hell" Sawyer gave rue a smug look, placing a hand on her throbbing forehead.

"Then who?" Rue curiously asked.

"Why does it matter to you?" Sawyer frowned. She glared over at Rue.

"Oh. Uh, I don't know, just wondering." Rue awkwardly looked around examining the room.

"Maddy took me home." Sawyer breathed out with attitude in her tone.

Rue simply nodded her head, "Let me help you clean up."

Sawyer hesitated before giving her sister a response. She thought it was strange Rue was acting this way but she also felt like shit and didn't wanna be alone.

Sawyer nodded her head up and down at Rue. Rue lifted Sawyer up to stand on her feet and wrapped her arm around her shoulder, trying not to get vomit on her.

"Come on its okay." Rue guided her to the bathroom.

As soon as they reached the bathroom, Sawyer dropped to the floor and began to barf into the toilet.

"Ew." Rue scrunched her face, "hold on, okay, i'll be back. Stay here." Rue walked out, closing the door behind her.

"Not like I have anywhere else to go." Sawyer lifted her head up from the toilet.

A few minutes had passed and Rue opened the door, "here." she tossed a water bottle at Sawyer.

The bottle slightly hit Sawyer's thigh.

"Fuckin idiot." Sawyer muttered underneath her breath, opening the water bottle.

"I'm not def ya know." Rue glanced at Sawyer as she started her a bath.

"Well must be blind then." Sawyer smirked up at Rue.

"You don't have to always be like an asshole." Rue looked down at her sister.

"I remember when we were little and we use to go to the ocean together, and kill all the sharks." Sawyer looked up at Rue.

"You always tried to kill me because I was a mermaid, and you were an ugly sea monster." Sawyer proceed, she noticed Rue get visibly uncomfortable.

Rue didn't like to dwell on the past. She didn't like to think about how her and sawyer had grow so much apart over the years, barely even knowing each other anymore.

"Yeah. Me too." Rue softly nodded her head, grabbing the almost empty water bottle from her sister, sitting it down on the counter.

"Come here." Rue lifted Sawyers arms up and slid her baggy T-shirt over her head"Oh my gosh, i'm naked!" Sawyer laughed as Rue helped her step into the bathtub.

"Your dumbass is lucky that you didn't get alcohol posing." Rue grabbed the water bottle and poured the rest of it onto Sawyers hair.

"That's cold Rue." Sawyer squinted her eyes, trying not to get water in them.

"Yeah well maybe next time don't get so fucked up to where you vomit in your own hair then." Rue scoffed as she put shampoo in Sawyers hair.

Sawyer rolled her eyes and just watched Rue as she took care of her. She missed bonding with her sister. She really did want a better bond with her sister she just didn't know how to create one, or maintain one.

"Rue?" Sawyer muttered.

"Sawyer?" Rue rinsed the shampoo out of sawyers hair.

"Hi." was all sawyer let out.

"Hi" Rue softly smiled at her sister and washed all the vomit off of her, with body wash and a cloth.

"You know I really love you Rue, I always will." Sawyer said, Rue didn't respond she just smiled and let the bath water out. Rue stood sawyer up and handed her a towel to dry herself off with.

"Here put this on i'll be back." Rue wiped her eyes as she sped walked out.

Sawyer nodded and dried her body, and hair with the towel. When she finished, she put on the baggy graphic T-shirt that her sister had given her.

Sawyer stepped out of the shower and picked up the water bottle off the floor, and flushed the toilet that still had her vomit inside.

"Come." Rue opened the door, sawyer followed behind Rue as they walked to Rue's bedroom. As they were walking Gia was sitting in her room with the door open staring at the two passing by, "Hey." Sawyer smiled and waved at her younger sister.

"Hey." Gia smiled and waved back.

Sawyer sat on Rues bed and awkwardly looked around her room fidgeting with her hands, "Thank you" she mumbled, glancing at her sister.

"Don't mention it." Rue sniffled and stood there looking at sawyer.

"I'm sorry Rue, I didn't mean to-" sawyer got cut off by Rue pulled her into a hug. Sawyer was taken back a bit but quickly hugged her back. Rue cried and cried as she hugged her sister, "It's okay Rue." Sawyer rubbed her back slowly.

"I love you, and i'm so sorry for all the shit I put everyone through, I'm a fuck up. I'm so scared to face reality so I shut everyone out." Rue cried.

"It's okay, everyone has their own personal battles, I'd never ever not be here for you, you're my blood, my other half. The best I can do is just be here. I cant really help you." Sawyer started, "You cant help someone that doesn't wanna be helped, which is you Rue. Your the one that decides when your ready to make that change, either today, tomorrow, next year, whenever but i'll be by your side no matter what."

Rue pulled away and looked at her sister with a light smile, sawyer used her thumb to wipe away the tears on Rue's face.

"I'm, Uh gonna go clean up the mess." Rue broke the silence. Sawyer nodded and laid into one of Rue's pillows before falling asleep.
