the alarm clock went off at 8:15

i probably got a good 3 hours of sleep

when i sat up,

you weakly grabbed my wrist, your face hidden because of the sheets

"on the way home from work, can you pick up instant ramen?"

i chuckled. "can't you get it? you only work a few hours today."

you whined. "but the store is the opposite way of the café. please?"

"yes, i'll pick up instant ramen."

i got up.
