Part 3

-Michelle POV-

Ned tried to avoid eye contact with Peter in his slight embarrassment. Peter smirked at his superior point in their argument.

Meanwhile, Michelle was seated in the far corner close to the wall. Reading a book, something that she almost always does, she couldn't help not tapping into the dork duo's conversation. Mostly listening to see if there was something she could drop a snarky comment on. As she listened further with their debate, Michelle started to become more interested in the subject and began thinking about it herself. She couldn't help jumping in...

"What if it's a mixture of both your points-"

Peter and Ned turned and looked at her, both equally puzzled. It was an rare occurrence for Michelle to talk to them, or for her to talk anyone for that matter, especially putting herself in a discussion which required feedback. Confused by her new ability to not judge them, Peter gave a small nod, prompting her to carry on.

"Well... first by the way, the whole Vader/Anakin thing is irrelevant, the asshole killed the kids, end of story. Now, I agree with the Vader legacy thing with Kylo. But, what if he thinks the First Order is how he's achieving it when actually Snoke is just using him as a sorta henchman and is manipulating him to think that this is Kylo's grand goal." Michelle concludes.

The pair look even more puzzled after Michelle's contribution. Ned looks away slightly in partial frustration that she called his Anakin/Vader dilemma irrelevant. Peter however, raises an eyebrow, his eyes widen.

Oh come on Michelle what have you done! This is why you don't join into geek talk! How much of that was wrong? I've seen the Star Wars movies like once, only because my dad did a marathon of them, I wasn't even paying that much attention. I do pick up a bunch of stuff just by listening the Parker and Leeds though. Why am I even bothered about it? Although I gotta admit that I'm not complaining about him staring at me, I mean he does have nice eyes and-

"I, uh, didn't know you're into Star Wars..." Peter responds, slipping out his gaze at Michelle.

"I'm not." Michelle counters.

Peter becomes even more confused. "Well you give a pretty good point for someone who's not a fan." he says trying to complement her.

Michelle continues reading her book to avoid further conversation. She forms a slight smile at Peter's comment, which he notices.

NOTE: This story is structured in small parts compared to most stories just to make things easier overall. It's better than long chapters because I can release them more frequently, they are more suitable to alter/change if there's areas that need to change (because the story is moving in the wrong direction, details need to be added, etc.) and if a part needs to be removed or a lot has to be changed, for whatever reason, it isn't as bad and messy. It's just a lot more convenient and less stressful in general.
