"You're going to miss the train if you move at this speed!" Molly Weasley yelled at her sons as they unloaded their trunks from the Weasley's Muggle car. Tori laughed to herself, knowing that they would in fact not miss the train since they arrived at least thirty minutes earlier.
"Oi, Tori. Mind giving me a hand?" Fred was trying to lift up his own trunk. Keyword was. Tori came over, counting to three as she helped him hoist up the other side onto his cart. "Blimey, what do you have in there?" She asked him, stretching her back out. He moved his cart away from the car to make room for Ron.
"Oh you know, the essentials." Fred winked, his brother George joining them quickly. "Alright, no flirting on my watch."
"We weren't!" Tori snapped, following Percy and Molly towards the station. Her cheeks went red with embarrassment. "Yeah, your face says otherwise."
"Shut up, George," Fred told him. The younger twin didn't stop smirking though. "Why is it so crowded, is today something special?" Tori turned to the twins who shrugged.
Molly must have overheard since she turned around at them. "You three stay close. It's very busy in the morning, packed with Muggles, of course."
The trio caught up to Molly quickly, stopping in front of platforms nine and ten. Molly turned to her daughter. "Now, what's the platform number?" Ginny was quick to respond, yanking on her mother's sleeve. "Nine and three-quarters! Mum, can't I go..."
"You're not old enough, Ginny, now be quiet. All right, Percy, you go first." Tori watched at Percy, who had also been granted Prefect, quickly run through the barrier. Percy was proud of it, letting everyone know many times throughout the summer. He was almost intolerable as Avalon.
"Fred, you next."
"He's not Fred, I am!" George shook his head, glancing at his twin. Tori bit her lip, hiding her smile. She didn't want to give it away and ruin their fun. Fred sighed, aghast. "Honestly woman, you call yourself our mother?"
"Oh. Sorry, George." Molly gestured to the platform. Fred sent Tori another wink, stopping right before he went in. "I'm only joking. I am Fred."
The twins rushed in after each other to escape Molly. They liked to tease her on many occasions at the fact she mixed up her own children. Tori laughed out loud, running in right after them. "You two are hilarious." She told them, watching a third boy who definitely wasn't a Weasley come through the platform.
Tori looked around to see her sister standing in front of her parents. The Silvers were giving her a nice cold goodbye. Dove was petting a white cat that sat sleeping in its crate, not looking up to see Tori. Maybe that was good, Tori didn't know what she'd stay.
"Oy, Fred, Tori! C'mere and help!" George called from inside the train. Tori saw the boy from earlier in an empty compartment, struggling with his trunk. Tori smiled at him, asking him to move out of the way. The boy did so as she helped the twins put away his trunk on a top-shelf.
"Thanks," The boy said, pushing his hair out if his eyes. Tori's eyes widen, seeing what Fred did. "What's that?" He asked, pointing to the boy's scar on his forehead.
"Blimey," George joined in. "Are you—"
"He is." Fred nodded. Tori squinted her eyes at him. "Are you?"
"What?" The young boy looked at them confused. "Harry Potter," The three of them said together. Of course, Tori knew who Harry Potter was. Who didn't? He was the only person ever who had lived after facing You-Know-Who!
"Oh, him." Harry Potter said. "I mean, yes, I am." The twins continued to gawk at him, Tori herself included. She felt bad, but this boy was famous!
"Fred, George, Tori? Are you there?" Molly's voice yanked them out of their state. "Coming, Mum," George called, they glanced back at the boy before jumping off the train.
Tori grabbed hold of her trunk, watching Molly try and rub dirt off Ron's nose. "Mum— geroff." He tried to wiggle free.
"Aaah, has ickle Ronnie got somefink on his nosie?" Fred teased, using his baby voice. Tori laughed behind her hand. "Shut up," Ron said.
"Where's Percy?" Molly asked, looking around them. Tori pointed down the platform, "He's coming now." Percy had already changed into his robes, no doubt showing off his silver Prefect badge with pride.
"Can't stay long, Mother." He began, "I'm upfront, the prefects have got two compartments to themselves—"
"Oh, you're a prefect, Percy?" Fred asked annoyed. "You should have said something, we had no idea!"
"Hang on," Tori pretended to think about it. "I remember him saying something about it..."
"Once-" George thought.
"Or twice-" Fred said.
"A minute—"
"All summer—"
"Oh shut up," Percy snapped, fixing his badge for the seven hundredth time. "How come Percy gets new robes, anyway?" Fred complained, knowing he had to use Charlie's old ones. "Because he's a prefect!" Molly replied. "Alright, go on. Have a good term, dear." She kissed Percy on the cheek and turned back to the twins.
"Now, you two— this year, you behave yourselves. If I get one more owl telling me you've— you've blown up a toilet or—"
Fred look intrigued. "Blown up a toilet? We've never blown up a toilet."
"Great idea though, thanks, Mum." George grinned, looking at both Fred and Tori. "It's not funny. Tori, please look after these boys. And you two, look after Ron."
"Don't worry, ickle Ronniekins is safe with us." Fred rubbed his brother's hair harshly. "Shut up," Ron said again, pushing away from his older brother. Fred chuckled before talking to his mother.
"Hey, Mum, guess what? Guess who we just met on the train? You know that black-haired boy who was behind us in the station? Know who he is?"
"Who?"
"Harry Potter!"
Ginny's eyes widened, she began tugging in her mother's sleeve a bit harsh now. "Oh, Mum, can I go on the train and see him, Mum, oh please..."
"You've already seen him, Ginny, and the poor boy isn't some creature you can goggle at in a zoo! Is he really, Fred? How do you know?" Molly looked between the three of them quickly, glancing at the train as well.
"Asked him. Saw his scar, it's really there— like lighting."
"Poor dear— no wonder he was all alone, I wondered. He was ever so polite when he asked how to get onto the platform."
"Never mind that, do you think he remembers what You-Know-Who looks like?" Tori's eyes widened, is that what he really wanted to know? Tori wasn't even sure she wanted to know the answer. Molly suddenly became very stern, "I forbid you to ask him, Fred. No, don't you dare. As though he needs reminding of that on his first day of school."
"All right, keep your hair on." The train whistle shrieked and Molly ushered them on the train. "Hurry up!" Unfortunately, Ginny began to cry.
"Don't cry, Ginny!" Tori told the young girl from out a window. "Yeah, Don't. We'll send you loads of owls!" Fred said to the ten-year-old. "We'll send you a Hogwarts toilet seat!"
"George!"
"Only joking, Mum!"
The train started moving as the three of them waved goodbye. Ginny was now both crying and laughing as she raced after the train, trying to keep up with it. Tori watched Molly and Ginny fade into the distance before turning away from the window. "C'mon, everyone's down in Lee's compartment."
They stopped by Ron, who was seated with Harry. "Hey Ron, listen, we're going down to the middle of the train, Lee Jordan's got a huge tarantula," Ron nodded weakly. "Harry, did we introduce ourselves? Fred and George Weasley, this is our brother Ron."
"I'm not related, just a friend. Tori Silvers, it's nice to meet you." She smiled at Harry, closing the compartment door behind her. She followed the twins down to see Alicia yelling at Lee to keep 'that thing' away from her, and Lee arguing back that it wasn't a thing, but his new pet.
Yep, Tori was home.
here we go!!!
