"You got the fireworks?!" Lee shouted, throwing his fist in the air. Tori grinned, glancing at George's open bag. It was filled with the fireworks she had gotten them for Christmas.

The twins were seated across from both Tori and Lee, who were both facing each other. Tori chuckled to herself as Lee shook her multiple times out of gratitude. "We're going to do so much with this."

Fred nodded with excitement and the three of them continued chatting. Tori leaned against the window and pulled out Cedric's gift. She slowly began to unwrap the thin layer of gold paper. There was a small box, the size of her hand. Tori opened it, revealing a woven bracelet and a folded piece of paper.

Tori studied the bracelet. It was dark purple with bright silver dots scattered around, almost resembling stars. It was beautiful. Tori slipped it on her hand, admiring it. She didn't notice Fred watching her, almost sadly. Tori unwrapped the note, showing a neat penmanship, and she began to read.

"Happy Christmas, Tori! (Or, technically late Christmas)

My father brought home a couple of things from his trip to Italy and this was one of them. My mother wasn't a big fan of the colors but it made me think of you when I saw it, I dunno why. Anyway, I hope you like it!

Tori wrapped the note up and put it back in the box before realizing the compartment had gone silent. Tori looked up to see the twins and Lee staring at her.

"What?"

"Nothing..." Fred mumbled, being put in a similar bad mood from earlier. There was a loud knock on the compartment door, catching the group's attention. Charlie was rummaging through a bag as he slid the door open.

"I almost forgot Mum made sandwiches. Tori, I hope you like ham and cheese." He tossed the plastic-wrapped sandwich to her before giving Fred and George their sandwiches as well. "Uh, I have another ham and cheese if you want it, Lee."

"No, I'm good. I'm waiting for the trolley."

"Suit yourself, we'll be at Hogwarts in a couple of hours. I'll come by when you should get in your robes." With that, the second eldest Weasley left. Tori unwrapped her sandwich, taking a bite out of it as George suggested a new prank idea.

The trolley lady came by and both Lee and Tori purchased a few snacks. She tossed Fred a bag of Every Flavour Beans and saved one for the dormitory. Tori opened her box of cauldron cakes when a couple of boys walked by the compartment.

They stopped in front, buying a few of their own treats. One of them was Avalon.

He was waiting next to one of his friends when he noticed her. He looked Tori up and down, his eyes resting on her sweater and then twins. He surely put two and two together but only turned away, not acknowledging her at all. She wasn't sure if she felt relieved or even a bit hurt. Either way, he was gone.

"So Lee, how was your holiday?" Tori asked her friend as he reached for one of her cauldron cakes. Lee shrugged. "Fine, nothing much happened. My parents took me to my Grandmother's house. Which was kind of boring..."

"Oh. Well, that's interesting."

"How was yours? Especially with your brother." Lee handed her a pumpkin pastry as she shrugged. He glanced out the compartment window and Tori new he must have noticed Avalon. "They didn't really say much to me. I ended up going to the Weasley's anyway."

"Lucky." Lee chuckled. They continued to talk for a while after that. Tori wondered if the twins were going to tell their friend about the Marauder's Map, but they didn't.

Charlie knocked on their door, letting them know they had about thirty minutes before they arrived, and they should get dressed.

Tori went to the bathroom to change into her robes. It only took a few minutes, and Tori was out. She came back to Fred being the only in the compartment and she sat down across from him.

"Heads up." She threw him a chocolate frog, only to end up hitting him in the head. "Oops! Sorry!" She laughed, causing Fred to grin. "Maybe give a better warning next time?"

"You sure you can be a beater? You can't even see something coming at you." Tori wrinkled her nose, taking a bite of another cauldron cake. "That's cold, Silvers. And yes, I'm going to be the greatest beater Gryffindor as ever seen. Then who will be laughing?"

"Whatever you say, Weasley." Tori chuckled. There was another silence and Tori cleared her throat. "What's going on with you? You've been acting weird all day."

Fred shrugged, staring at the floor with a pouting look. "I dunno. I'm just tired I guess." He met her eyes and Tori raised an eyebrow, deciding not to push it.

George returned sitting next to Tori. "Whatcha two lovebirds talking about, eh?" Tori rolled her eyes. "Bloody hell, George. Give it a rest." Fred told his brother. Unfortunately, this was the exact time Lee came in as well.

"Oh please, Fred, everyone knows you're-" Lee was cut off by Fred nudging him in the rib, hard. He groaned, holding his side.

"Bloody hell!" He muttered. Tori couldn't help but hold in a laugh. She wanted to ask Lee what he was going to say but the train began to stop.

"We're here!"

"Welcome back, students! We hope you've had a fantastic holiday break and hope you are ready to come back with a fresh mind to learn! Now let us eat!" Dumbledore waved his hands, finishing his speech and creating the many dishes in front of the students. A roar of approval went out through the great hall as many students began feasting immediately.

"Merlin. I missed this." Angelina grinned, turning to Tori who she had greeted excitedly earlier. Alica, who sat across from them, laughed. "Me too,"

They began digging in, talking about the holidays. Where they went, what they got for Christmas and more that they had missed.

"It seems like someone's trying to make eye contact with you." Angelina nudged Tori's arm as Alicia gestured behind her. Tori looked behind her friends to see Cedric talking to a couple of Hufflepuff. He glanced over to her and gave her a cheerful wave.

Tori waved back. Cedric's face immediately lit up, seeing the purple bracelet around her wrist. Tori smiled and turned back to Angelina, who had a raised eyebrow.

"He got me a Christmas gift." She explained, taking a sip of her water.

"Pretty Boy Diggory got you a Christmas present?" Alicia interrupted, she looked at Tori who was choking on water.

Tori coughed a few times, laughter being mixed in with it. "Did you just call him 'Pretty Boy Diggory'?" Alicia nodded as if it was obvious.

"Ignore her," Angelina shot Alicia a look. "What did he get you?" Tori rolled up her sleeve to show off the bracelet. "Oh! That's beautiful!" Alicia gasped, her eyes widened.

Angelina agreed about to say something else when Lee leaned over. "You girls done talking about jewelry?" Angelina pushed him playfully. "Depends," She snapped. "You boys done styling your hair yet?"

"Yeah, we look great. Don't you think?" George sent Angelina a wink, which she replied with another eye roll. "It's looked better." Tori shrugged, hiding her laugh with Alicia.

"You guys are so mean."

they're back at hogwarts!
so I had to go back in a couple of chapter and get rid of katie bell, since she's actually a year YOUNGER than them. but she will be back!
also, don't go hating on cedric he's gonna be a very important person to tori and to the story.
