Victoria was flipping through another book sitting at the end of the Gryffindor table, and it was quite good one. She was eating an orange and skimming the text when two people sat down in front of her.

"Good morning, Tori." The Weasley Twins greeted her with smiles on their faces. Victoria must have looked stunned, because one of them looked at her and said, "Well if we're going to be friends now, we gotta make sure you're not lonely. Isn't that right Georgie?"

A smile approached her face as Victoria felt her heart leap with joy. Real friends. That's all she's ever wanted.

She quickly calmed herself down and only nodded to them. "You don't have to sit with me, besides, I think your friends are looking at you." The trio turned to see a couple of boys looking down at them. The boys quickly turned away and pretended like they weren't staring.

"Eh, if they want to come to sit with us, they can come over here," George replied, turning to Victoria, who grinned. They began to eat, and she put her book aside.

Slowly, a boy got up and care over to Fred and George. "Uh, hey fellas." Fred turned to his friend. "Hi Lee, what's going on?"

"Uh, The boys and I were just wondering what's going on with you two... you just moved, unexpectedly... I guess." The kid scratched his head, looking guilty.

"Well, we're just talking to our new friend. Lee, this is—"

"Tori." Victoria interrupted Fred, causing both the twins to gleam. "My name is Tori Silvers."

"Yeah, I know... I mean I don't, well I do." Lee stumbles over his words, looking nervous. "Would you care to join us, Lee?" George turned and asked his friend.

"Uh, no thanks. I'm just going to go sit back down. Uh nice meeting you, Tori..."

Lee went scampering back to his seat. Fred and George glanced at each other before going back to their meal. Tori sighed, glancing down towards the boys, who continued to whisper. She didn't want them to lose friends because they wanted to be nice to her.

"You guys, really don't have to do this. I don't want you to lose your social life just..."

"Oh don't worry dear Tori." Fred snickered, looking at his brother with mischief in his eye. "Don't you worry one bit."

"Can anyone tell me what the best way to extract juice from the Sopophorous Bean is? Hm?" Professor Snape stood before the class of boring first years as they stared into their book.

His eyes skimmed the room until he fell upon a student who had their head down the entire time. "Ms. Silvers, can you tell me what that is done?"

Tori looked up at her teacher a bit startled, she collected herself and replied with a brief nod, "Uh, yes. You crush it, sir." Professor Snape merely nodded, "Correct."

Tori grinned, feeling accomplished. There was a cough in the back of the class, and Tori could hear some of their kids giggling. She knew something was probably said about her. Snape snapped at them to be quiet but said nothing else as he continued the lesson. Her grin vanished and Tori stared down at her textbook.

As the lesson continued on, Tori kept her head down until something landed on the corner of her desk that she shared with Angelina. Tori glanced around the room to see Fred, who sat in the desk across from her, gestured for her to open the piece of paper.

Tori did so, seeing a very detailed picture of Professor Snape, in the picture, his head was floating around saying a variety of things.

"Ten points from Gryffindor for Mr. Weasley's insufferable actions. Your brother was a top student at your age, a Slytherin too. tuRn ArOunDdd. DETENTION MR. WEASLEY!"

Tori had to hold back a laugh as she quietly tucked the small drawing into her pocket. She bit her tongue for the rest of the class.

When class was finally dismissed Tori pulled out the picture and turned to Fred. "This is really good," Fred just turned at her and snickered. "It's just a joke, if that's the humor you find funny, we need to work on it."

"Not the joke, the drawing. It's really good." She handed it to George, who caught up to them. "Look at that. Isn't it amazing?"

"Gee Freddie, Tori's right. I didn't know you could draw." Fred snatched it from his brother's hand. "It's 'cause I can't."

When the group turned the corridor, Tori saw someone she was hoping to avoid. Her brother was walking with his friends, pushing each other. One of them spotted her and laughed, "Isn't that cute? Av seems like your sisters got some little friends."

Avalon turned and looked his sister dead in the eye. "The Weasleys? Why am I not surprised. You really have stepped down to the dogs. Haven't you Victoria?"

Tori felt her mouth go dry. She wanted to defend them, but she couldn't manage anything. Fred was the only one to speak up, "It's better than being with your kind. So bored you have to pick on first years."

Avalon stepped forward, looking like he was going to slug Fred. Tori quickly stepped in front of him. "Leave him alone, Avalon. And it's Tori now."

Her brother laughed, "Oh, is it? That's cute—" He was quickly cut off by another voice. "Leave them alone."

Percy Weasley quickly stepped in front of them, separating Tori from her brother. Avalon smirked, "Yeah Weasel? And what are you going to do about that?"

"Leave them alone. That's the last time I'm going to tell you, they're first years." Percy told them, standing his ground. Avalon rolled his eyes and stalked off with his gang. "Careful Weasel. And Victoria? I'll see you at Christmas."

Tori watched him leave and Percy ushered them away. "Come on now. You three have class."

Tori didn't say anything as they walked. Percy didn't seem eager to let them walk alone. He waited outside until they were inside the classroom before walking away.

Tori sat down, pushing her thoughts away and class began.
