I plug my headphones in and walk to the Café. Once again, my crush has a girlfriend. And it's one of my best friends. That doesn't matter. "It happened a week ago, man up." She said to herself. She rolled her eyes and continued walking only to bump into somebody. "Watch where you're go-" she realized who it was and blushed softly. "I am so sorry, Tucker." He looked sad, and I was about to ask why, but realized he's dating my best friend, when he knows I like him. Even Brooklyn knows I like him, she's still dating him though. Yay for stalling. "Are you okay? You look sad." I blurted without hesitation. Stupid me. "Yeah, I'm just- Brooklyn broke up with me." He stated, looking down at the ground. "Uh, Do you want to go get some ice cream after this? I'll pay." I said.

"Sure." He said, smiling.
