Chapter 23 - Party

The club was jammed full of people, mostly teenagers drinking with their friends, or dancing like intoxicated fools.

Jimin practically dragged the four boys in, smirking as he did so.

"Let's have some fun. Taehyung would have wanted us to enjoy the last few days!" He shouted over the loud music.

They found a table and sat down together. Yoongi obviously sat next to Jimin, and the other two boys went opposite.

"What are you going to drink?" Jimin asked, "I'll buy since I have my wallet with me."

"If you're buying, I'll have soju." Jungkook answered.

"Aren't you too young?" Hoseok asked.

"Frick that. There's only four days left and I'm already a wanted man. Screw the rules." The youngest man shouted over the noise.

"Ok. Fine. Everyone else?"

Jimin decided to get himself some cider, while Yoongi and Jungkook went for soju. Hoseok decided not to drink, as he thought one of them should stay sober and alert just in case.

"You're loss." They shrugged as Jimin went to get the drinks.

After downing about half of his bottle, Yoongi was gone. He would burst out laughing whenever anyone said anything, and his cheeks were dusted with a rosy glow.

Jimin sipped his drink slowly, occasionally glancing at Yoongi and laughing at how easily he had gotten wasted.

Jungkook on the other hand downed his entire bottle of soju, and two more before he even became light headed, and even then he ordered another bottle.

"Jungkook... you should stop..." Hoseok advised, biting his lip as his friend gulped from a green bottle. "You'll make yourself ill.."

"I don't care." Jungkook slurred. "Only four days."

Just then, Hoseok realized something...

There were only three of them at the table.

"Uh...guys... where did Yoongi go?"

Jimin looked around for the blonde, but he couldn't see him anywhere.

"You were supposed to keep an eye on him!" Jimin moaned, hitting his head against the table. "I'll look after Kookie. Go find him before he does something dumb."

Hoseok sighed and stood up, glancing at Jimin.

"Call me if Jungkook needs something." He instructed, before disappearing into the sea of teens.

He couldn't see the blonde boy anywhere.

He wasn't on the dance floor...

He wasn't at the bar...

He wasn't in the bathroom...

Hoseok began to panic, looking around before freezing suddenly.

There, sitting at the bar with a bottle of soju in his hand...

Was Kim Seokjin...

He sprinted back to their table, ignoring Jimin's concerned look.

"We have to find Yoongi and get out of here! NOW!" He yelled.

"Why Hyung?" Jimin asked, panicking a little. "Is something wrong?"

"That Officer is here! The one from the station! Drinking at the bar! We have to get out of here! Before-"

Just then there was a loud crash, and some girls screamed over by the bar. Hoseok could hear an man shouting, and the sound of a smashing glass filled his ears.

He ran over to the crowd that was gathering around two men, just in time to see Yoongi landing a fist on Jin's face.

"Yoongi!" He shouted, pushing through the people and trying to get to the front. "FOR GODS SAKE! STOP!"

Seokjin was struggling against the drunk man, trying to get up, and block his fists, but noting worked.

The officers nose and lip were bleeding, and he began to cough in exhaustion.

Hoseok ran forward and managed to drag Yoongi off, using his arms as a kind of straight jacket to stop him struggling.

Someone helped Jin sit up and he looked up at Yoongi, confused.

"You?" He mumbled, tilting his head.

"YOU KILLED MY BROTHER!" Yoongi sobbed. "YOU KILLED HIM!"

Jin looked dazed

"Yah - Jung?" Jin asked Hobi. "Take him outside. I want to speak with you guys."

Hoseok dragged Yoongi outside, despite his writhing, and the other boys walked out too.

Jin forced them to sit on a bench outside.

"Listen - Kim was never meant to die." Seokin sighed, "and after that incident, I quit the police force. I was all for catching you guys, but I never thought Namjoon would go that far... "

"Is this is a trick?" Jimin asked, suspicious.

Just then, Yoongi fell on his knees and vomited all over Jin's shoes.

"Well what do you know?" Jungkook laughed. "History repeats itself."

Jin gave a disgusted glance down at his shoes, but decided to ignore it.

"It's not a trick. As I was trying to say before Yoongi savagely attacked me with his fists, I am no longer an officer."

Hoseok was still uneasy.

Officer or not, those two officers had still killed Tae, and nearly killed him.

"How can we trust you?" He asked

"I'm not telling you to." Jin replied. "I wouldn't expect you to."

Hoseok looked uneasy.

At that moment, there was a loud crash inside the bar and Jin sighed.

"I'll go and see what's going on. You guys scram before I report you to the police." He winked.

The older man ran inside the bar and Hoseok watched him, confused.

"He really let us go? He left the police?"

"Looks like it..." Jungkook slurred.

Hoseok remembered he had three drunk men to take care of and turned to them.

Jimin didn't look to drunk - just a little flushed. Jungkook was quite woozy, and Yoongi?

Flat.

He was lying on the ground, completely wasted.

"Should we...uh...get the pancake and the baby back to the barn?" Jimin chuckled.

Hoseok agreed and called a cab.

As the cab pulled up, he helped Jimin get the two other boys in, but stopped as he heard a shout.

"Hoseok!"

"Jin? What are you doing?"

"Take this." The ex-Officer said quietly. "Use it if you're in trouble."

Hoseok looked down at the piece of paper and took it quickly.

"Thanks officer."

"No problem." Jin laughed, then backed away as the cab drove off.

Hoseok sat in his seat and unfolded the paper.

"Why did that officer give you his number?" Jungkook slurred, looking over his shoulder.

"I don't know." Hoseok sighed. "But I hope we won't ever have to use it."

They got back to the barn and slept better than they ever had before. In fact, they slept right through until midday the next day.

Yoongi and Jungkook suffered from severe hangovers, and Jimin was still a little unsteady, but Hoseok took care of them.

It was getting scary. They days were flying past faster than any of them had predicted.

Before they knew it, Thursday 12th hit them like a tonne of bricks....
