Chapter 110
Third person pov
Katsuki Bakugo has always been a violent individual. His anger often times controls him, rearing up and bucking like a horse gone wild. It spun and spun until it formed an explosive tornado full of curses and taunts he'd never make good on. It's how he'd always been. Maybe his quirk and its bombastic nature had something to do with it, or maybe he'd gotten his volatile attitude from his mother. Either way, Katsuki knows how to be a hellion. He's essentially been one his whole life. But this? He's never been this angry before. Not in his entire life.
Curses streamed from his mouth as he was carted away in a truck usually used to transport dangerous villains. He'd already blown up a police cruiser, sending himself and several others flying. He'd earned a dislocated shoulder for that one, but hadn't really cared as he hopped to his feet and tried to rush off despite everything. All Might was gone, and the Nomu were being successfully subdued one by one. It's not like they needed him here, so why wouldn't they let him go to wherever the hell they'd taken Lillian? She needed him more than anyone else right now, so why the fuck were they trying to stop him?!
His palms sparked as he let sweat pool against his skin. He didn't have his gauntlets to collect it, but keeping his hands in a cupped position allowed it to gather in his palms where the detonations occurred. They hadn't had quirk suppressing cuffs that would work on him. His quirk was a biological mutation. Unless they could stop him from sweating, there wasn't too much they could do unless they had gauntlets like the ones the villains had put on him. So, they were forced to simply throw him in this metal box and hope for the best. Bakugo was just short of pulling his hair out at this point.
Bracing himself, he thrust his hands forward and let loose. He was blown against the opposite wall of the back of the truck, which shuddered and swerved from the impact. One of the back doors dented outwards, creating a small space. Nowhere near big enough for him to squeeze through, but it was something. Bakugo stalked forward, his foot lashing out and striking the door violently. It gave a shriek of protest, but didn't give. He did it again, and then once more, harder this time. It flew open. The truck once again swerved, tires squealing as it struggled to keep itself in its lane.
Katsuki saw Tsukauchi in the police cruiser riding behind the truck he was in, looking pale. The explosive blonde gave a snarl, backing up slightly before taking a running start. The detective and his cat-headed partner could only watch him fly overhead, bouncing off the top of their cruiser as they skidded to a stop. The car behind that one wasn't law enforcement, but instead an ambulance. He hopped on the hood and scrambled up over, running across the top and letting his explosions propel him back the way they'd came. These extras weren't going to stop him. Not when someone he cared about needed him.

"It took you long enough to find us. It's only five kilometers from the bar to here, and yet it was at least thirty seconds after I sent the nomus that you arrived." All For One spoke casually, shaking out his hand. Lillian couldn't stop herself from coughing as a heavy smog was kicked up from their blow, her hair and skin ashy. Awase shakily brought the collar of his shirt up to cover his nose, attempting to get a better hold on his breathing as he and Lillian stumbled back to their feet. "You've gotten weaker, All Might."
This drama wasn't what Lillian was here for. Really, she wasn't here for anything. Being a hostage really sucked. TV made it seem so much nicer. Was she even a hostage anymore? Attention was falling off of her, and now she and Awase were stuck here somewhat. They were by no means in the clear. In fact, Lillian was pretty convinced she'd be dying at some point. Not in a good way, either. She wanted to get Awase out of here, but she wasn't sure. The chances of them surviving kept thinning and thinning with each moment that passed by.
"You're one to talk. It's kind of difficult to ignore that fancy life-support mask you've got on." All Might intoned back, face grim with the anticipation of the fight ahead. Lillian felt her chest constrict, her head whipping in every which direction in search of where the League of Villains had landed. She couldn't see well enough to use her quirk right now. If someone were to pop out at them, she and Awase were toast. At least Discount Darth Vader wasn't looking at them anymore. "Aren't you overexerting yourself?"
Whoever this man was, he'd just held All Might back with his bare hands. He was the biggest threat here, and Lillian really didn't know what to do about that. She knew she couldn't freeze him. Her instincts were telling her to, but if freezing Endeavor almost killed her in the span of thirty seconds, she'd probably be down for the count trying to make this guy halt for even just a brief moment. She needed what little energy she had to try and get herself and Awase out of here. All Might was strong. He could keep this guys focus on him, but not if they were in the crossfire. Shit. Just... shit!
"I won't repeat the mistake I made five years ago. You hear me? I will take Young Lillian and Young Awase back. And I will make certain you're locked up for the rest of your sad life." All Might seemed to become more enraged towards the end of his spout, his fists clenching and his muscles bulging. Lillian grimaced, eyes searching. She caught a flash of what looked like a face somewhere across the field, but it was gone as soon as she glimpsed it. Lillian's gaze frantically climbed across the area, her heart pounding so loudly Awase could probably hear it. Had that been something conjured by her hopeful imagination, or was Shoto here? She could've sworn she'd seen him. His eyes were unmistakable, even from a distance. "Right along with your despicable League of Villains!"
All Might shot forward, angry and ready. Lillian braced herself, only for All Might to be thrown back and through several buildings. Her breath stuttered as a few buildings began to come down around them, none in danger of falling on them, but enough to kick up more dust to obscure Lillian's vision again. She coughed, squinting through the smog and trying to figure out where it was best to go. Venturing further into the city was an option, but buildings were coming down around them like trees being chopped down in a forest. Going forward wasn't an option either, however. She had no idea where the League was, if they were even still here.
"All Might..." Lillian breathed, stumbling back. More dust settled, and the outline of Shigaraki became clearer. He was right there, what, twenty feet away? Fifteen? Too close for comfort. She dragged Awase backwards with her as All For One spoke to them. The words went in one ear and out the other. Her eyes searched behind the terrifying man once again, her face pale and her entire body trembling in fear. Awase was no better, righting himself and keeping a firm grip on her. He did not weld to her again. Were another blast to occur, they could get thrown through the air, and it was safer that they were separate. They could end up ripped apart otherwise, and they couldn't afford injury like that right now.
Lillian's eyes met a pair of mismatched ones. There was a flicker of a flame before Shoto vanished behind the wall of rock again. Hope inflated like a balloon inside her, fast and close to popping. She didn't let it show on her face. It wasn't hard to push the minor relief she felt to the side and let her fear stay plain as day in her expression. Her attention snapped back to the boss villain as his fingers turned to black, branch like things, shooting out and burying themselves in the body of the Warp Gate Villain, Kurogiri. He was unconscious, and began to convulse. Lillian's ears felt full of cotton. She stumbled backwards, towards the wreckage, her eyes forward. Shoto was here. If Shoto was here, he wasn't alone. She'd be okay. She and Awase would both be just fine!
The villains were warped away, dropping through gates made by Kurogiri. At one point she thought she may be taken as well, but she was ignored completely. Did they decide they didn't want her, or was she too dangerous to bring along? Now that she wasn't blindfolded, she could easily freeze the entire League. It would hurt like a bitch and there's no way she'd be able to hold it for long, but if Awase could weld them together or find a way to restrain them... there were too many possibilities. And now she and Awase were here, alone with All Might, All For One, Shoto, and whoever the half-and-half teen had brought with him.
Lillian was afraid, and her faith was declining fast. Tears leaked from her eyes and down her cheeks. She wanted her dad, and her friends. This never should've happened. They were just kids who wanted to help other people. Why did the League insist on getting in the way of that? Not all heroes were good. Society was corrupt, but if anyone could see that clearly, it was without a doubt herself and her generation. They grew up watching those issues come to light and intensify. Being informed by parents and teachers and peers. They knew, and they wanted to fix it. The League simply wasn't giving them anymore time. You didn't fix a lagging computer by smashing it with a hammer. You rebooted it.
A hand on her shoulder almost made her shriek, but she managed to clamp her mouth shut before she could. She and Awase both whirled around, tense and with wide eyes. Lillian felt like her heart had just jumped into her throat. Several years had surely just been shaved off her life-span. Her grip on Awase had to be hard enough to bruise at this point, but his was just as bad. Her eyes connected with a pair of large, terrified green ones. Familiar ones. The weight in her chest dropped into her stomach, and her lips parted in surprise. Next to her, Awase let out a wheezing breath of air. He was crying too.
"Lillian, Awase." Izuku whispered, hushed as the fight raged on behind them. He was wearing what seemed to be a disguise, a pair of sunglasses too large for his face awkwardly sliding down his nose. He was just as pale as she was, with sweat slickening his forehead and neck. He too was covered in the kicked up dust the number one hero and what seemed like the number one villain were kicking up behind them. "I finally managed to work around to you. Come on; we've got to get going."
Lillian's mind rushed to catch up as Izuku took her arm, tugging her towards the dying ward. He seemed intent and focused, crouched low with his quirk humming lightly. She could only faintly see crackles of green lightning sparking off of him as she and Awase stumbled forward. Awase was still holding onto her like a lifeline. Lillian wondered if he felt as spooked and disoriented as she did.
Her mind caught up with her mouth, and she found herself sputtering. "I-Izuku? What a-are you doing here? How did you find us?"
"I came to get you." Izuku answered, rushed. He pulled Lillian over a collapsed wall, and she pulled Awase with her. She felt disoriented, looking back to where Todoroki once was. He was there, peeking over the wall again, with two others she couldn't quite make out due to what appeared to be their wigs. Shoto looked a bit stunned, his eyes slightly alarmed and entirely confused. Lillian turned back, feeling hesitant as more buildings were brought down. All Might's body was steaming. Or maybe it was smoke. Either way, something was wrong here. Nothing... it didn't feel right. Awase was hesitating too, but Lillian wasn't sure they could afford to ask questions right now.
"R-Right. Are you with Sh-Shoto, then?" Lillian asked, sharing a glance with Awase. He looked somewhat relieved underneath it all, and she felt the same. The attention was off of them, and Izuku was smart. He'd always been clever, so if anyone knew a safe route away from here, it was him. He took up the rear as she and Awase blindly tripped and stepped over pieces of fallen rock. Lillian couldn't help but think of how much clean up this would take. Of how long it would be before this place looked the same way it did before. It was such a random thought, and not really appropriate given the tension. She couldn't help herself.
The lack of clean air had her feeling dazed. But Shoto and Izuku were here, and Awase was okay too. He loosened his grip on her, and she did the same as they moved further into the jungle of crumbling buildings. Izuku kept vigilant, more alert than the two of them combined. The blast that occurred when All For One and All Might had collided had left her brain feeling addled. Awase was still out of sorts, experiencing what had to be the asthma attack from hell, part two: electric boogaloo.
"No, I came alone." Izuku answered, still keeping his voice low as he ushered them forward. "Shoto's still at the hospital. He asked me to come."
Lillian stopped walking completely, her heart turning to ice in her chest. Blood rushed past her ears, and her eyes stung as her quirk slowly ramped up more and more. She knew her hair had to be floating now, but she wasn't mad. A fear unlike anything she'd ever felt before was building inside of her. A chunk of cement flew over their heads, but she didn't even blink. Awase turned to look at her in question as she stood there stiffly, feeling paralyzed. Like somehow, she'd just managed to use her quirk on herself, and was now frozen in time. It all happened in less than a second. She didn't breathe at all.
Lillian began to turn, to blurt out a million questions, because she'd seen Shoto just now. Awase let out an alarmed shout, scrambling in front of her desperately. He threw his arms out wide like he was blocking her, his back to her as he dove clumsily into the position. She jumped in surprise, and there was a gunshot. She'd heard them before because of Chad, but this one seemed so much more deafening. It rung in her ears, echoing and echoing and feeling like it would never stop. Awase's body dropped like a lifeless doll, limbs going limp and his entire body slumping down and crumbling into an unnatural heap on the uneven ground. Lillian could only stare, mouth agape. In that moment, her heart stopped.
Izuku cocked his head at her, his eyes holding that same, knowing look they'd held before they entered those woods at the Summer Camp. It wasn't an unusual expression to see on his face. In a situation like this, it was wrong, though. There was no worry or alarm in his expression. Only a curiosity as he raised his gaze to meet hers, a sleek, black pistol resting idly in his hand. Lillian was only vaguely aware of the searing sting behind her tears as she stared in horror, struggling to process. Her mouth was open, but nothing would come out.
Izuku raised the gun again, and she blinked, sinking to her knees with her whole body trembling. The helicopter overhead drowned out any coherent thoughts she could form as she gazed at Izuku's frozen form in utter disbelief, her eyes glowing and stinging. Her gut twisted, but not from her quirk. She shakily looked down at Awase, feeling impossibly small as she reached to him. She barely knew him, but he'd protected her as much as he could. And now, he'd just taken a bullet for her. A bullet delivered by someone Lillian had been so sure she could trust. Looking back, she tried to figure how Izuku could've done this, but she didn't see. She couldn't. All she saw in her memories was a friend. Not... not this.
Lillian couldn't look at Izuku without thinking about the freckled boy who'd proclaimed himself boldly as Shoto's therapist at the Sports Festival. The one who was shy and stuttered. Sure, he didn't hang out with them much, but it was always fun when he was around. His mother was always over having tea with Mihoko, smiling and laughing and raining praises down on her son's name. Izuku was... Izuku. An important part of her life, and an even more important part of Shoto's. She... who... how had this happened?
She pulled Awase into her lap as best she could, body wracked with sobs. Distantly, she realized she was going into shock. Nothing was processing. A scream trapped itself at the very base of her throat, but it didn't rip free like she almost wished it would. It was stuck there. Everything felt stuck. Because Awase was dead, his shirt blooming red and his eyes wide, glassy, and unseeing. She didn't care about the way crimson spilled over her lap and soaked into her clothing. She didn't even notice All Might, staring with wide, horrified eyes at the scene, All For One's taunts falling heavy on him as he gazed upon his frozen successor. It had all happened so fast. It had just-
All Lillian could really do is sit there and hold him, her hair drifting upwards and her eyes glowing, and wonder what she possibly could've done to deserve this.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
All Might shrunk for the world to see, his shoulders slack and his eyes wide with horror. The news copter overhead was the only one gutsy enough to brave the scene, watching All For One step closer and closer. The man's hand raised. The world held its breath as their one and only Symbol of Peace simply stood there, appearing nearly as lifeless as the boy lying in the arms of Class 1-A's Lillian. The girl was hunched over him, not seeming to care about anything else around her. Even from a distance, you could very clearly view the way her body shook like a palm tree in a hurricane. Her hair danced above her, but no one could focus on that right now. The heartbreak and tension in the scene was too much.
People around the world mourned. In a hospital waiting room, a green-eyed woman stared in horror at what her son had just done. Watching from a TV with his father by his side, a tired, purple-haired teenager could only stare in mute horror at the scene. On the streets, people were crying, screaming: shaking fists. In Italy, a woman wailed and cried for the daughter she'd left behind.
Before All For One could quite reach All Might, a flame erupted to the left of the field, followed by another, and there was a deafening crackle of electricity that made even the news crew's hair stand on end. Ice, watery and laced with lightning, raced across the ground at terrifying speeds. All For One barely had time to leap back as it began to climb upwards, creating a sharp glacier that forced him to move lest he be frozen, shocked, impaled, or a mixture of the three. All Might jumped slightly, snapped from his daze of disbelief. He was crying, too. They all were.
Izuku's body was also promptly encased in ice. Not just one layer, but several formed around him. It broke Lillian's hold on him, but he was too restricted to do much of anything. A very muffled bang went off, and the ice gave somewhat of a crack, but no bullet emerged to lodge itself in Lillian like it would've otherwise. All Might turned to face his smug opponent as ice, fire, and bolts of yellow chased after him, forcing him to keep moving and never giving him a chance to catch his breath. The helicopter overhead risked getting closer, stuck between trying to find the source of the three element, focusing on the villain, on All Might, or on the kidnapped students from UA's hero course.
Shoto was a raging storm of ice and fire, while Neito and Kaminari both sported terrifying levels of electricity that made the air feel like thick static. When Izuku had arrived, Shoto had been relieved. He'd gone missing from the hospital, after all. It made sense that he'd try to go after Lillian alone. He'd presented himself that was, as selfless. Though he didn't really make a habit of hanging out with his friends, he knew the freckled boy did care about Lillian. Or he'd thought he had. But he and Neito and Kaminari had all watched him pull that gun. They had all heard the bang. They had all watched Awase crumble, and Izuku freeze in his compromising position. And now Lillian was on her knees, cradling to body of her fallen peer. She didn't even look up when she heard their attacks.
"My, my. It seems we had more guests than I accounted for." All For One said, a smile in his voice. "Shoto Todoroki and Neito Monoma, no less! My dear little Izuku has told me so much about you, Shoto. And Neito, well, we've been acquainted before. Though I'm sure you don't remember such."
Shoto was crying in that bone-deep way that rattled your heart in your chest and made your lungs flutter painfully. His body was too hot, and it was too cold. His fire was starting to turn blue, his skin becoming charred, and the cold was blistering his right side. He couldn't breathe. He couldn't hear. He couldn't see. He could only send out waves of his unbridled rage and hurt outwards, allowing Kaminari and Neito's flow of electricity to direct it towards the enemy. He registered that Neito had frozen Izuku in a large block of ice. He registered that Lillian was crying. But he couldn't focus on that. Because for all the times his father hit him, and burned him, and called him useless, none of that would ever compare to the ache this brought. Not even his mother pouring boiling water across his face came close to the pain this brought. Those were tragedies. This? This was a betrayal.
Neito felt more alert than he had since he died. Kaminari was gripping onto him, tears rolling down his cheeks. The electricity coursing through him jumpstarted the heart in his chest. Even if it wasn't his, it still operated the same was any other heart may. It was thumping painfully. He felt more hurt than he had in a long time, but it made his brain wake up. His limbs felt like they had minds of their own as he and Kaminari did their best to curve Shoto's slick ice towards the enemy. All For One seemed to find their attempts funny. Like him skipping around was a fun game. It only pissed the trio off further.
Someone hopped over a building, clearing the skyscraper in a large arc and coming crashing down towards All For One. Someone else skidded through an alley with a burst of green fire that smelt like limes. Another individual, a man in a starbucks uniform, threw a blinding ball of light that acted like a flashbang, but with a little more punch. More people flew and hopped over buildings. Others came from behind them, trickling out of alleyways like ants crawling from their destroyed hill. Some climbed walls, sticking to the sides in their own ways before falling to attack All For One. Someone with arms that could stretch reached out and plucked the helmet right off the man's head, his hands snapping back to him like his arms were rubber bands. The life-support machine went flying.
More people came. They seemed to spill in from every direction. Kaminari jumped when a hand landed on his shoulder, and Neito did the same, but it was just a woman in a purple sweater and a quirk that let her conduct electricity. To help them not fry their brains, she'd explained over the roar of the people beginning to flood the battle field. A spot light was shone from the news helicopter above, highlighting vigilantes, ordinary civilians, small time heroes, and even a few minor villains hopping into the fray to wear down on the villain All Might couldn't fight.
Even when All For One used attacks like his air cannon to clear a way, more people would scramble to fill the gap and keep him completely surrounded. No one there was as strong as All Might. Not even close, even. But they had numbers, and even that could not be combated by a single man. Not with a hoard as overwhelming as this one. All Might was dragged back by people with healing quirks and empathy quirks. More people moved to go to Lillian, but where stopped when the very man who led them here to begin with leapt down, desperate in his movements as he scrambled over to the girl.
"Lillian?" Aizawa choked out as he crouched down in front of her. Her hair was floating, and her body shook like a leaf in the wind. "Lillian, it's me. It's okay. You're going to be okay."
Lillian looked up, eyes glowing red and face streaked with tears. She was devastated. Never had he seen her like this. Not at the USJ. Not when Neito died. Not even at the summer camp, when she'd been scared out of her mind. Her grip on Awase slipped slightly as her father gazed at her, eyes glassy and afraid. Afraid for her, she realized, the longer she looked. This was her dad. He was here for her. He'd come for her. He had come for her and Awase, but... b-but Awase was-
"D-Dad." Lillian choked out, trembling. A few people's gazes snapped in their direction at that, but they were far too distracted for it to matter. Lillian reached out to her father, feeling small, pathetic, and tortured all in one. He captured her willingly, his hands shaking and his grasp firm. He pulled her into him, standing up and tugging her from Awase. She didn't need to look at that anymore. He didn't want her to look at that anymore. His own eyes glowed red, just like his daughter's. The field went still as his hair and scarf drifted up and to attention. Lillian clung to him, sobbing into his shoulder.
She hurt. This wasn't supposed to happen. It was all racing by, and she didn't have time to blink. One moment she was at summer camp, and the next she was in the woods. Then she was captured, and then saved. Then she was captured again, and betrayed. She almost would've rather died then have something like this happen. To have Izuku betray them so devastatingly... it didn't make sense. Why? Why had he done that? Was he under the control of some sort of quirk? Was it just him? Was it something Lillian did? Was this all Lillian's fault?
Shota's gaze searched for All For One. He felt sharp and attentive now that he had Lillian in his grasp. His eyes never strayed, even at the sound of very familiar explosions fast approaching. People seemed to realize who he was looking for, shouting at everyone else to clear a path. A few people with healing quirks moved past him, one with a grip on Neito Monoma, and the other on Kaminari. Their noses and ears were bleeding, and they seemed dizzy. Neito let out a pained noise and reached for Lillian, but was gently tugged past to where they were bringing everyone else who was injured. Shoto stumbled after them, shaking and with burns. An older man with big glasses and graying hair kept a hand on his back, murmuring in low tones. The Half-and-Half teen didn't even appear to notice them. His eyes were wide and unseeing, and he was trembling so violently he could barely walk. It hurt Aizawa to see his kids in shock like this.
"Everyone, clear a path for Eraserhead!" The same man with the voice-amplifying quirk shouted over the cacophony. People were flying through the air left and right. All For One was slowing, but persistent. That was fine. The people who'd followed Shota here were just as eager, if not more so, for a fight. "Move it! Come on, you guys! Work as a whole here!"
Bakugo flew out from between two buildings, flipping through the air haphazardly and in a desperate manner. Aizawa gently pulled Lillian from his body, looking down at her face. He let his quirk vanished as he gazed into her glowing red eyes. He wanted to smile at her, but couldn't muster it up. Instead, he grasped her face gently in his hands and wiped her tears with the pads of his thumbs. He gazed into her scared blue eyes, and assured himself. This would all be over soon, if he worked fast. One glance was surely all it would take. And if not... well, Shota was willing to put his all into defeating this bastard.
"Lillian!" Bakugo landed, and Aizawa nodded to him, gently and quietly moving his daughter in his direction. He caught her as she stumbled forward, eyes falling on Awase, and then going to the block of ice that had Izuku in it. He looked devastated, his grip on Lillian tightening. Aizawa tried not to let it show how much the sight hurt. His daughter, clinging to one of his students as they gazed as their fallen peer. Their fallen peer who was taken down by one of their own. For Katsuki, this had to hit hard. Still, he nodded back to Aizawa. It was shaky, but his grasp on Lillian was reassuring. They'd be okay for the time being.
Katsuki Bakugo did not know what to do. He'd come back ready to fight tooth and nail to save Lillian, but several, several people had beat him to the punch. Now, he felt everything drain out of him as he grasped Lillian. She was safe. Covered in the blood of the boy who'd saved her. Blood shed by Bakugo's childhood friend. Glancing at the scene, he was horrified to find he immediately knew what had happened. He held Lillian a little tighter as he stared at Izuku, who was unconscious in a block of jagged ice.
It wasn't often you ran across someone with more than one quirk. It had happened only a few times. From what Shota understood, the more quirks there was to erase, the harder it was to hold it. It hurt his eyes to erase two at a time. Nullifying someone like Shoto Todoroki was fairly painful. His dry eye was increased, and it stung like a bitch. This All For One shithead was supposedly a hundred years old. According to the intel he'd been offered prior to now, he could take and give quirks. There was no telling how many he had to cancel out. There was no telling what it would do to Shota to try and stop him.
His hero name was chanted as he moved forward. The people who'd joined together to support him parted faster now, cheering for him. There was a strange calmness in him. All his rage had just... come to a dead halt. It was still there, but it had hardened. The frantic part of it was gone. He'd made his decision. He could die right here, right now. Maybe he'd even go blind. But his daughter was back there in the arms of someone who did care for her, and there were hundreds of determined people between her and the enemy right now. He had to put his trust in Bakugo and in the people who'd followed him here.
His eyes flared red again. The glow was more vibrant, and it pierced through the thin amount of smog like a knife through butter. All For One was clearly tired, sweat beading his mottled brow. He froze when the sea of people finally backed off of him enough to expose him. Shota felt a dangerous grin form on his own face. This would satisfy him. It would never be enough to make up for all the suffering this man had orchestrated, but it would have to due for today. His daughter needed him. He was on a time crunch.
When you've been using various quirks to stay alive for a vast amount of years, what happens when they all suddenly vanish? When your body has outlived itself and is falling apart, what happens when you cut the seams that hold all the tattered pieces together?
It all crashes down: violent, painful, and sudden.
Aizawa did not hesitate to rip All For One's power away from him. Like a puppet with his string's cut, he crumbled. He fell in the same way Awase had, which seemed far too fitting. Silence rung out deafeningly across the field as Aizawa's eyes seared. It was a pain that shot through straight to his brain and down his spine. He thought maybe he tasted blood in the back of his throat. Was this what Lillian felt anytime she froze something too powerful? He didn't know, but he'd gladly do it again and again just to see someone so high, mighty, and evil fall like they were worthless. Nothing at all. A simple look from a simple man, and he was gone. Aizawa closed his eyes and exhaled slow and deep as his vision began to spot black.
All For One did not get back up, and the crowd erupted in cheers.
SO as most of you know, I have a patreon. I am here to further advertise it because it's slowly dying out and if it dies vigilante Lillian and freelance Harper may die with it. If you're curious about it, definitely go to patreon.com/strawhatpirate, even if it's just to look! Here are some things coming to the patreon and that are already on the patreon
-Early access to Freeze Frame chapters. Right now Patreon is only one chapter ahead, but today I plan to write one more, and then another after that so that they're a little further ahead. Eventually I want to push the patrons over ten chapters forward
-A Freeze Frame AU called Freeze Forward, where Lillian never went to UA and turns to vigilantism when she realizes she still wants to save people, even if it isn't legally!
-Several exclusive one shots that will not be posted on Wattpad.
-For the fifteen and twenty-dollar tiers we have some real exclusive tea coming y'all ain't have no idea what's boutta happen
-Applications for the twenty tiers to ADD CHARACTERS to stories will be opening probably right at the beginning of December you feel me? Yes, you can add yourself, or an OC, to a story. I'm not saying they'll play a super major role, but that depends. They could, they could not. Me and Chiki (idk if I should say the first part of their name thing) are plotting an upcoming story it's gonna be fucking wack
If any of you were to join the family, it would be amazing to have you along for the ride. To read Freeze Forward and Mind Reader For Hire, the AU's for this book and Mind Boggled, it's only a dollar a month. If you want to be more involved and request one shots, headcanons, brainstorm story stuff with me, then totally consider the other tiers! The second tier gets you early access to three of my current stories, and I plan to add the other BNHA ones to it as well
